Background and purpose:Liver cancer resection and splenectomy are the main methods to treat hepatocellular carcinoma and hypersplenism. The aim of this study was to discuss the safety and feasibility of simultaneous radiofrequency ablation (RFA) and laparoscopic splenectomy (LS) for the treatment of small hepatocellular carcinoma with hypersplenism.Methods:Twenty-seven patients with small hepatocellular carcinoma and cirrhotic hypersplenism underwent RFA and LS. The clinical data were also analyzed. Results:The surgery was converted to an open surgery in 1 patient, while laparoscopic splenectomy in a hand-assisted manner was performed in 2 patients. There were 31 liver tumors treated with RFA. Blood loss were 110-900 mL (mean=320 mL). Operation time were 72-127 min (mean=107 min). Subcutaneous emphysema occurred in 1 patient, and pancreatic leakage in another patient. Nine patients developed ascites. one patient suffered from massive haemorrhage, and emergency operation was adopted to stop bleeding. This patient recovered well after operation. No death was found during the hospitalization. Conclusion:Combining RFA with LS for the treatment of liver cancer and hypersplenism is minimally invasive, safe, and feasible.

Objective:
To study the clinical effect of high pressure oxygen and Butylphthalide in the recovery of cerebral metabolism after carbon monoxide poisoning.
Methods:
84 patients treated from May 2014 to May 2016 in our hospital were selected. The subjects were randomly and equally divided into two groups. The control group adopted the conventional therapy and high pressure oxygen; on the basis, the observation group also took Butylphthalide. The clinical effect, duration of coma, recovery of consciousness, incidence rate of delayed encephalopathy was observed. After 1m of treatment, the HDS point was evaluated.
Results:
The total effective rate of control group (76.19%, 32/42) was lower than that of observation group (95.24%, 40/42) (

Objective:To seek the effect of group education under the BOPPPS model(bridge-in, objective, pre-assessment, participatory learning, post-assessment, summary) on the breastfeeding competency of first gestation women, to improve the breastfeeding competency of first gestation women and promote the realization of postpartum breastfeeding.Methods:Eighty-one first gestation women were chosen from the gestation class of the First Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi Medical University, the quasi-experimental research method was adopted, 40 women from January to February 2022 were involved in the control group and 41 women from May to June 2022 were involved in the intervention group. The control group was assigned common education, while the intervention group was assigned group education based on BOPPPS model. Breastfeeding Competency Scale (BCS) and breastfeeding family support questionnaire were used to compare breastfeeding competency and family support level of the two groups before and after intervention, and the skin contact rate at 1 hour after delivery and the pure breastfeeding rate at 42 days after delivery were compared between the two groups. Results:Before intervention, there was no significant difference in breastfeeding competency and family support level between the two groups (all P>0.05). After 4 weeks of intervention, the scores of breastfeeding competency and family support were (147.59 ± 13.50), (3.16 ± 0.18) points in the intervention group, more than those in the control group (125.48 ± 16.87), (2.87 ± 0.22) points, the differences were statistically significant between the two groups ( t=-6.52, -6.30, both P<0.05). The skin contact rate at 1 hour after delivery and the pure breastfeeding rate at 42 days postpartum were 75.6%(31/41), 53.7%(22/41) in the intervention group, more than those in the control group 52.5%(21/40), 30.0%(12/40), the differences were statistically significant between the two groups ( χ 2=4.71, 4.65, both P<0.05). Conclusions:Group education based on BOPPPS model can improve the level of breastfeeding competency and family support of gestation women. It increases the skin contact rate, and plays a good role in promoting the increase of pure breastfeeding rate.

Two strains of porcine reproductive and respiratory syndrome virus (PRRSV) were isolated in 2006 and 2016 and designated as FZ06A and FZ16A, respectively. Inoculation experiments showed that FZ06A caused 100% morbidity and 60% mortality, while FZ16A caused 100% morbidity without death. By using genomic sequence and phylogenetic analyses, close relationships between a Chinese highly pathogenic PRRSV strain and the FZ06A and FZ16A strains were observed. Based on the achieved results, multiple genomic variations in Nsp2, a unique N-glycosylation site (N³³→K³³), and a K151 amino acid (AA) substitution for virulence in the GP5 of FZ16A were detected; except the 30 AA deletion in the Nsp2-coding region. Inoculation experiments were conducted and weaker virulence of FZ16A than FZ06A was observed. Based on our results, a 30 AA deletion in the Nsp2-coding region is an unreliable genomic indicator of a high virulence PRRSV strain. The Nsp2 and GP5 differences, in addition to the virulence difference between these two highly pathogenic PRRSV strains, have the potential to be used to establish a basis for further study of PRRSV virulence determinants and to provide data useful in the development of vaccines against this economically devastating disease.

Objective To explore the efficacy of quantitative susceptibility mapping (QSM) in the assessment of osteoporosis and the impact factors on the QSM values. Methods A total of 105 volunteers (35 males and 70 females) were recruited in this study. The height, weight, waistline and hipline were measured, and the body mass index was calculated. All the subjects underwent MRI-based QSM and quantitative computed tomography (QCT).The measurement of QSM and QCT values was performed on L3 vertebrae body.According to QCT value, the subjects were divided into three groups (normal, osteopenia and osteoporosis).According to age,the subjects were divided into group I (21-30 years old),group 2 (31-40 years old),group 3 (41-50 years old),group 4 (51-60 years old),and group 5 (>60 years old).Differences among all groups were compared using one-way ANOVA or Kruskal-Wallis.Results According to QCT value,54 subjects were normal,22 osteopenic and 29 osteoporotic. The QSM value for the subjects with osteoporosis [148.60(109.42,188.81)ppb] was significantly higher than that of normal (P<0.001)and the osteopenia (P<0.001).The QSM value for the subjects with osteopenia was significantly higher than the normal (P<0.001).The coefficient of QSM and BMD was-0.749 (P<0.001).Multiple linear regression showed age was the independent influence factor for QSM value (r=0.72,P<0.001),whereas the gender,BMI,waistline and hipline showed no significant difference (P>0.05).With the increasing of age,the QSM value showed a gradual increasing trend. And there were significant differences of QSM values among the different age groups (P<0.001).The QSM value of 138.98 (100.37,183.84)ppb for group 5 (>60 years old) was significantly higher than that of group 1,group 2,and group 3 (P<0.001).There is no difference between group 5 and group 4 (P>0.05).The QSM value of 96.62(28.62,143.99)ppb for group 4 (51-60 years old) was significantly higher than that of group 1 and group 2 (P<0.001).And there was no difference between group 4 and group 3 (P>0.05).The QSM value of group 1,group 2,and group 3 showed no significant difference (P>0.05).Conclusions The QSM of bone is feasible in the assessment of osteoporosis and has the potential to be a biomarker providing new insights into osteoporosis. And age is the critical factor affecting QSM value.
