Objective To study the influence of electroacupuncture on the expression of Nestin in neural stem cells after focal cerebral ischemia in rats and to explore the mechanism of electroacupuncture in treating ischemic brain injury. Methods The model of middle cerebral artery occlusion was made by using opening cranium hot coagulation in 72 rats, who were divided randomly into a model group and an electroacupuncture group. Electroacupuncture was applied on "Dazhui" and "Baihui" points in rats in electroacupuncture group, and immunohistochemistry method was used to observe the number of Nestin expression positive cells on the 3th, 7th, 14th and 21st days after ischemia. Autogenous nerve transplantation is the best means for treating peripheral nerve injury. However, it would detriments function of donor area. Therefore, homologous nerve transplantation is adopted in clinic. The key of successful nerve allograft transplantation is to reduce nerve allograft antigenicity. Compared to physics method, chemistry method achieved a better result in reducing antigenicity of allograft nerve. Here, we introduce immune response and characteristics of grafts following homologous nerve transplantation, discuss the pretreatment method which can reduce the antigenicity. And propose that the combination of one or many kinds of methods would decrease the antigenicity of homogenous nerve in future.

With the burgeoning of continuing medical education, grass-roots hospitals are confronted with quite a number of problems in the implementation of the task, such as a general rush into action with each department going its own way, incontrollable educational expenses that are beyond the hospitals, difficulties in developing programs at the hospital level because of the limitation of academic disciplines, and the buying and selling of credits. In view of the above problems, the authors put forward some suggestions for formulating a series of continuing medical education management strategies that both conform to the situation in our country and suit the needs of health professionals at grass-roots institutions.

Objective To investigate the expression of nuclear factor-?B(NF-?B) around the hematoma by the intervension of APS in rat, to study mechanisms of APS protecting brain and its effect on inflammation after intracerebral hemorrhage. Methods ICH models was induced in rats by injection ofⅦtype collagenase into the right globas pallidus. APS was used as the intervension drug. Objective To explore the relationship between gene mutation of JAK2 V617F, JAK2 (exon12), CALR, MPL and clinical features of patients with bcr-abl negative myeloproliferative neoplasms (MPN), and to analyze the risk factors of thrombosis. Methods Clinical features and laboratory tests of 115 patients with bcr-abl negative MPN were analyzed retrospectively. 34 patients with thrombosis were treated as the observation group, and 81 patients without thrombosis were treated as the control group. Results Among 71 primary thrombocythemia cases, the white blood cell count (WBC) and hemoglobin level of JAK2 V617F positive group and CALR positive group was higher than that of 4 gene mutations in negative group (F= 5.835, P= 0.005; F= 3.405, P= 0.039). The incidence of splenomegaly in JAK2 V617F positive group and CALR positive group was higher than that of 4 gene mutations in negative group (χ2=16.902, P=0.0002; χ2= 12.658, P= 0.001). The patients'proportion of JAK2 V617F positive, high hemoglobin level (male ≥160 g/L, female ≥150 g/L), hypertension and over 60 years old in the observation group was higher than that in the control group (χ2= 5.585, P= 0.025; χ2= 4.909, P= 0.043; χ2= 8.891, P= 0.004; χ2=15.933, P=0.023). Conclusion The detection of JAK2 V617F, JAK2 (exon12), CALR and MPL gene mutations is helpful to the diagnosis of bcr-abl negative MPN; JAK2 V617F positive, high hemoglobin level, hypertension, and elderly age are risk factors of thrombosis.

Objective To summarize our experience in the prevention and treatment of iatrogenic vascular(trauma).Methods The clinical data of 24 different types of iatrogenic vascular trauma committed from 2003 to 2006 were retrospectively analyzed.Results The 24 cases included 7 cases of superior mesenteric(arteriovenous) trauma,3 cases of portal venous trauma,4 cases of carotid arterial trauma,6 cases of iliac and femoral arterial trauma,and each one of trauma of popliteal artery,axillary artery,renal artery,left gastric artery,respectively.Treated method: Six cases underwent vascular repair,5 cases had vascular anastomosis,2 cases had vascular replacement,3 cases had vascular ligation,2 cases had covered stent implantation under intervention,and other methods included thrombectomy,thrombolysis and packing.Among the 24 cases,22 were cured completely,one patient died from massive hemorrhage 24 hours after operation,and the other died 5 days after operation.Conclusions Iatrogenic vascular trauma can be prevented and its incidence reduced by increased vigilance,clear identification of the anatomy,and accurate and careful operation.Once iatrogenic vascular trauma has occurred,its cause must be determined and then different treatment methods can be(chosen),based on the cicumstaces. When effective treatment technique is not at hand,one should promptly seek outside support or transfer the patient to an advanced hostipal.

Objective To investigate the effects and mechanism of magnetic microsphere combination of cisplatin with nano or micron ferric oxide particle on human hepatoma cell(HHC). Methods A human hepatoma cell line BEL-7402 was used in this study, 0.04?g/ml～8?g/ml of cisplatin(CDDP), cisplatin nano-ferric oxide magnetic microsphere(nCDDPmm) and micro-ferric oxide magnetic microsphere(mCDDPmm) were administered to the culture solution for culturing the BEL-7402 cell as the experimental groups,and in the control groups were administered with cisplatin 0?g/ml and magnetic microsphere without cisplatin respectively. The optic density of viable cell, cytotoxity index, growth curve of cell, cell cycle, proliferation index and apoptosis were assayed by MTT method, cell count and flow cytometry respectively.
