1.DEGRADATION KINETICS OF ACONITINE IN THE SAMPLE OF RABBITS

A high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC)has been used to determine aconitine in the sample of rabbits. Kinetics of degradation of aconitine in vitro was studied. The degradation of aconite from the poisoned specimens (coagulated blood, liver) treated differently in vitro was characterized by pseudo-secondorder kinetics. The K. of aconitine in these samples was the biggest in the fixed section of 4% aqueous solution of formaldehyde (1.5619, O.7728?g/d), bigger in the fixed section of 95% alcohol(0.4891, 0.07536?g/d) and the smallest in the refrigerator at 4℃ (0.06372, 0.03903 ?g/d), respectively. That is, aconitine in the poisoned samples was decomposed slowly in the refrigerator and secondly in the fixative of alcohol. Amount of aconitine might be extrapolated from the result of examination of specimens taken from the subject after poisoning or killing by the poison, using the kinetics equation.
2.Associations of peripheral CD4+CD25+CD127low/-regulatory T cells with viral load and liver pathology in hepatitis B virus carriers

Objective To investigate the associations of peripheral CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-regulatory T cells (Treg) with HBV viral load and liver pathology in hepatitis B virus (HBV) carriers.Methods Forty six chronic HBV carriers admitted in the first hospital of Jiaxing during October 2012 and February 2014,and 23 healthy subjects (controls) were enrolled in the study.CD4+ CD25 + CD127low/-Treg in peripheral blood of the two groups were detected by flow cytometry.Ultrasound-guided liver biopsies were performed in chronic HBV carriers and HBV DNA load was determined by real-time PCR method.Independent samples t test was used for the comparison between groups,and Spearman rank correlation or Pearson linear correlation analyses were performed.Results The frequency of the peripheral CD4+ CD25+CD127low/-Treg in 46 HBV carriers was (5.11 ±1.47)%,which was significantly higher than that in healthy controls [(3.46 ± 1.23) %,t =4.629,P < 0.01].The HBV DNA load in HBV carriers was (6.21 ±1.98)lg copies/mL,which was positively correlated with the CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level (r =0.405,P < 0.01).Among 46 HBV carriers,21 (45.65%) were of inflammation grade 2 or above,and 16 (34.78%) were of fibrosis stage 2 or above.Peripheral CD4+ CD25+ CD127low/-Treg level was negatively correlated with inflammation and fibrosis in HBV carriers (r =-0.343 and-0.452,P < 0.05).Conclusion CD4 + CD25 + CD127low/-Treg may be associated with the chronicity of HBV infection and the degree of liver damage.
3.Surgical treatment of nodular goiter

Objective To investigate the relationship between nodular goiter and thyroid cancer and the causes of postoperative recurrence in patients with nodular goiter(NG) undergoing operative treatment. Methods The clinical date of 199 cases of NG were retrospectively analysed. Results Pathological examination revealed that 7 cases were accompanied by thyroid cancer including 2 micro-cancer, all the 7 cases were papillary carcinomas. The postoperative recurrent rate of NG was 11.5%(18 cases).Thyroid nodule reccurrence rate in patients received - operative thyroxin replacement therapy was significantly lower than that in patients not received thyroxin therapy( P

Objective To explore the association between 1425G/A single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)of protein kinase Cη gene(PRKCH)and cerebral infarction in Jiangsu Han population.Methods 255 patients with cerebral infarction and 225 controls were recruited in our case-control study.The 1425G/A in PRKCH gene was detected by direct sequencing of PCR products.Data were coded and entered in SPSS Windows(version 13.0).Results The frequencies of the GA+AA genotypes(56.86%)and A allele (36.27%)in cerebral infarct group were significantly higher than those in control group(44.44%and24.67%.χ2=7.377,P=0.007 and χ2=15.104,P<0.01).Further analysis indicated that the genotypes(63.09%)and alleles(40.27%)frequencies were statistically different between lacunar infarction subtype and controls(44.44%and 24.67%;χ2=11.744,P=0.Ol and χ2=20.445,P<0.01).Logistic regression analysis revealed that hypertension,diabetes mellitus.hyperlipidemia and the A allele of 1425G/A polymorphism were independent risky factors for lacunar infarction.Conclusions The SNP 1425G/A in PRKCH is closely associated with cerebral infarction.particularly with lacunar infarction.
5. Prediction of serum M30 and M65 levels for the short-term prognosis of patients with hepatitis B virus related acute-on-chronic liver failure during artificial liver support system therapy

Objective:
To analyze the dynamic changes of serum M30 and M65 levels in patients with hepatitis B virus related acute-on-chronic liver failure (HBV-ACLF) during artificial liver support system(ALSS) therapy, and to explore their predictive efficiency and clinical values for short-term prognosis of HBV-ACLF.
Methods:
Seventy-six patients with HBV-ACLF who underwent ALSS therapy for the first time from May 2016 to May 2019 in the First Hospital of Jiaxing were selected.The patients were divided into improvement group (38 cases) and non-recovered group (38 cases)according to their prognosis, and 38 healthy persons were selected as control group during the same period.The serum levels of M30 and M65 were detected by enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA). The predictive values of M30 and M65 levels for short-term prognosis in patients receiving ALSS were calculated by receiver operating characteristic analysis curve (ROC). M30 and M65 levels before and after ALSS were compared by two-way repeated measures analysis of variance.
Results:
