Chondroitin sulfate proteoglycan (CSPG) is a group of extracellular matrix molecules expressed widely in the developing and mature central nervous system (CNS).They play an important role during embryonic CNS development and adult CNS plasticity.As a major extracellular inhibitory compound,CSPG can affect the axon regeneration and neurological recovery after CNS injury.

Wearing transfemoral prosthesis is the only way to complete daily physical activity for amputees. Motion pattern recognition is important for the control of prosthesis, especially in the recognizing swing phase and stance phase. In this paper, it is reported that surface electromyography (sEMG) signal is used in swing and stance phase recognition. sEMG signal of related muscles was sampled by Infiniti of a Canadian company. The sEMG signal was then filtered by weighted filtering window and analyzed by height permitted window. The starting time of stance phase and swing phase is determined through analyzing special muscles. The sEMG signal of rectus femoris was used in stance phase recognition and sEMG signal of tibialis anterior is used in swing phase recognition. In a certain tolerating range, the double windows theory, including weighted filtering window and height permitted window, can reach a high accuracy rate. Through experiments, the real walking consciousness of the people was reflected by sEMG signal of related muscles. Using related muscles to recognize swing and stance phase is reachable. The theory used in this paper is useful for analyzing sEMG signal and actual prosthesis control.

Objective To examine the expression of inhibitory chondroitin sulfate proteoglycans (CSPGs) and in-vestigate their potential effects on neural plasticity in the peri-infarct cortex and ipsilateral thalamus after focal cerebral infarction in hypertensive rats. Methods Twenty-four adult renovascular hypertensive Sprague-Dawley rats per group were subjected to permanent right middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO) or sham operation. Twelve rats which were se-lected randomly from per group at each time point were decapitated and their brains were removed and cut into coronal sections at 7 and 14 days post MCAO. The expression of CSPGs, NG2 and Neurocan was examined using immunostaining and western blot. Results All rats displayed neurological deficits to varying degrees and the expression of CSPGs, NG2 and full length Neurocan was increased in the peri-infarct cortex and ipsilateral thalamus at 7 and 14 days (P<0.05). However, there were no significant difference in either expression of CSPGs, NG2 and full-length Neurocan between 7 and 14 days or the expression of C-terminal fragment Neurocan at 7 and 14 days (all P>0.05). Conclusions CSPGs may play a negative role in neural plasticity through induction of inhibitory environment in the peri-infarct cortex and ipsilat-eral thalamus following focal cerebral infarction in hypertensive rats.

Objective To survey on knowledge of home blood pressure monitoring (HBPM) in community physicians of Zhejiang province.Methods One hundred and thirty eight community physicians from Xiacheng District of Hangzhou Municipality were assigned in intervention group (n =70) or control group (n =68).The knowledge of home blood pressure monitoring was surveyed by using the China HBPM questionnaire in both groups.Results Total 132 valid questionnaires were returned,including 70 from intervention group and 62 from control group.The results showed that 80.0％ (61/70) physicians in intervention group and 62.9％ in control group frequently suggested hypertensive patients to have HBPM in out-patient clinics (P ＜ 0.05).Physicians who correctly instructed patients to use upper arm electronic sphygmomanometer,to measure blood pressure in morning and night,to repeat 2-3 times each time,to record result 3 times,and to take ≥ 135/85 mmHg(1 mmHg =0.133 kPa) as criteria of hypertension in intervention and control groups were 67.1％ (47/70) versus 32.3％ (20/62),5.7％ (39/70) versus 29.0％ (18/62),92.9％ (65/70)versus 66.7％ (40/62),38.6％ (27/70)versus 6.4％ (4/62)and 57.1％ (40/70) versus 38.7％ (24/62),respectively,and the differences between two groups were all statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).As for measuring frequency,92.9％ (65/70) physicians in intervention group and 67.7％ (42/62) in control group considered that blood pressure should be measured every day for poorly controlled patients ; 81.4％ (61/70) versus 14.5 ％ (9/62) considered that blood pressure should be measured every week for well-controlled patients; 87.1％ versus 35.5％ (22/62) considered that blood pressure should be measured every year at least for people with normal blood pressure; there were significantly differences between two groups (P ＜ 0.05).The community physicians generally considered that HBPM can be used to improve the awareness of hypertension for patients and to increase the blood pressure control rate in community.

Objective To investigate the dynamic levels of autophagy after intimal injury of carotid artery. Meth-ods In this study ,40 male SD rats were randomly assigned to operated(n=20)and control groups(n=20). Balloon inju-ry was induced in the left carotid artery in operated groups .Rats in control groups just received carotid artery exposure without injury. Western blot was used to detect the levels of Beclin-1, LC3 and p62 at the third and seventh days. Immu-nofluorescence was used to examine the expression of Beclin-1 and LC3 at the third and seventh days. Results The ex-pression levels of Beclin-1 and LC3 were increased while the levels of P62 were decreased at the third and seventh days after carotid balloon injury. Beclin-1 and LC3 were present in neointima and medintima. The numbers of both Beclin-1 positive cells and LC3 positive cells were increased at the third and seventh days after carotid injury. The numbers of Be-clin-1 positive cells were 18.60 ± 1.34 in neointima and 6.40 ± 0.55 in medintima at third day, (27.6 ± 2.19 in neointima and 6.40±0.55 in medinitima at the seventh day,(all P=0.000,n=5). The numbers of LC3 positive cells were 10.60±1.52 in neointima and 3.00 ± 0.71 in medintima at third day, (P=0.000,n=5;at the seventh day 21.20 ± 2.49;3.00 ± 0.71,P=0.000,n=5). Conclusions This study domenstrates that autophagy was activated after carotid injury and the chang is dy-namic, which may contribute to neointima formation.

This paper summarized drainage tube nursing experience instep-up mini-invasive surgery for infected pancreatic necrosis,special management group for drainage nursing was established,and drainage tube management in stages was implemented. Nursing key pointsin the first stage was: catheter puncture assistance,single-site and single-tube fixed drainage,anddynamicdrainage effect observation. Nursing key points in the second stage was:single-site and multi-tube fixed drainage,close surveillance for negative pressure drainage effect,and strengthened protection of drainage tubeduring patient activities. Nursingkey points in the third stage was: multi-site and multi-tube fixed drainage,prevention of hospital-acquired infection,and discharge guidance for patientsin drainage tube care. The cure rate of this group was 91.93% with 62 patients,and there was no occurrence of unplanned extubationduring hospitalization.

AIM:To observed the protective effect of diminazene aceturate ( DIZE) , an angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) activator, on diabetic nephropathy (DN) rats.METHODS:Male Wistar rats (n=30) were randomly divided into normal control (NC) group, DN group and DIZE group (each group consisted of 10 rats).The rats in DN group and DIZE group were induced by intraperitoneal injection of streptozotocin at dose of 65 mg/kg.After 12 weeks, the rats in DIZE group and DN group received subcutaneous injection of DIZE (15 mg· kg -1 · d-1 ) or vehicle for 4 weeks. The samples of blood and urine were collected at week 16, and ratio of kidney weight to body weight (KW/BW), plasma glucose (GLU), 24 h urinary protein (24UP) and serum creatinine (SCr) were measured.The renal pathological changes in each group were observed by periodic acid-Schiff ( PAS) staining and immunohistochemistry .The levels of AngⅡ and Ang-(1-7) in the plasma, and TGF-β1 and VCAM-1 in the renal tissues were measured by ELISA .The mRNA and protein levels of collagen I and FN were determined by quantification real-time PCR and immunohistochemistry .The effects of DIZE on the expression of ACE2 in DN rats were determined by Western blot .RESULTS:DIZE remarkably increased the expression of ACE2 and Ang-(1-7) in DN rats.Compared with NC group , the GLU, KW/BW, 24UP, SCr, and the ex-pression of collagen I , FN, TGF-β1 and VCAM-1 in DN group and DIZE group were increased .However , after treatment of the DN rats with DIZE, these indicators were decreased except the KW/BW.The GLU showed no significant change . CONCLUSION:DIZE raised the activity of ACE2 and increased the expression of Ang-(1-7), thus alleviating fibrosis and inflammation in the kidney and having therapeutic potential for diabetic nephropathy .

Objective To study and explore the effect of Prunella vulgaris on TSH 、TGAb 、TPOAb and Th cell-associated cytokines IFN-γ ,TNF-α ,IL-4 and IL-17 in autoimmune thyroiditis (AIT ) rats .Methods Di-vide forty female Sprague-Dawley rats into four group :blank group ,model group ,western medicine control group (selenium yeast group) ,Prunella vulgaris group ,10 rats in each group ,The rats in the model group and the rats in the model group were treated with PTg injection and high iodine water .The rats in the drug group were treated with sour yeast and Prunella vulgaris .The rats were sacrificed 6 weeks after the intervention . Elisa method was used to detect the rats Serum levels of TSH ,TGAb ,TPOAb and IFN-γ ,TNF-α ,IL-4 and IL-17 were measured .Results The levels of TSH ,TGAb ,TPOAb ,IFN-γ ,TNF-α ,IL-4 and IL-17 in the model group were significantly higher than those in the blank group ,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0 .05) .Selenium yeast group and Prunella vulgaris group TSH ,TGAb ,TPOAb ,IFN-γ ,TNF-α ,IL-4 ,IL-17 were lower than the model group ,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0 .05) ;The levels of TSH , IFN-γ ,IL-4 and IL-17 in Prunella vulgaris group were lower than those in selenium yeast group ,the difference was statistically significant (P＜0 .05) .Conclusion Prunella vulgaris can reduce the expression of autoanti-bodies and Th-related cytokines in AIT rats ,and have immunomodulatory effects ,it is worth to promote the use of clinical .

Objective This study was conducted to assess the accuracy of [18F] fiuorodeoxyglucose-positron emission tomography/computed tomography (18FDG PET-CT) in detection of pelvic nodal metastases in endometrial cancer.Methods Patients with endometrial cancer from January 2015 to June 2017 confirmed by the postoperative pathology were retrospectively analyzed.30 patients finished PET-CT before operation.The findings on histopathology were compared with 18FDG-PET/CT findings to calculate the sensitivity,specificity,positive predictive value (PPV),negative predictive value (NPV),and accuracy of 18FDG-PET/CT.To analyze the efficacy of maximum standardized uptake (SUVmax) and lymph node maximum standardized uptake (LN-SUVmax) of PET-CT in the diagnosis of pelvic lymph node metastasis.Resuits For detection of pelvic nodes,based on patient analysis,18FDG-PET/CT had a sensitivity of 75.0％,specificity of 88.5％,PPV of 50.0％,NPV of 95.8％ and accuracy of 86.7％.Based on a nodal region analysis,18FDG-PET/CT had a sensitivity of 83.3％,specificity of 98.3％,PPV of 55.0％,NPV of 99.6％,and accuracy of 98.3％.When maximum standardized uptake values (SUVmax) ＞ 8,area under curve (AUC) =0.64,Yonden Index =0.42.When maximum standardized uptake values of lymphonodus (LN-SUVmax) ＞ 3 (AUC =0.79,Yonden Index =0.63),the sensitivity and specificity of diagnosis of lymph node metastasis were 100％,42.31％,and 75.0％,88.5％,but without statistically significant difference.Although AUC of LN-SUVmax was higher than SUVmax of primary lesion,but the difference was not statistically significant (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions 18 FDG-PET/CT has high specificity,NPV for detection of pelvic LN metastasis area in endometrial cancer,which can provide preoperative basis for patients with endometrial cancer to avoid lymph node resection,thereby reducing the risk of early endometrial cancer surgery and improving the quality of life after surgery.We concluded that,there were no exact cutoffs of SUVmax for the prediction of lymph node metastases,neither primary lesion,nor lymph node.There is clearly a need for multicenter,large-scale trials to find out better parameters in judging metastasis of lymphnodes.

Objective To explore the value of ratio of monocyte to high-density lipoprotein(MHR)combined with high mobility group protein B1(HMGB1)for predicting myocardial injury in septic patients.Methods A total of 100 patients with sepsis were selected as study objects,and were divided into myocardial injury group(40 cases)and without myocardial injury group(60 cases)ac-cording to whether the patients complicated with myocardial injury or not.Another 90 healthy people in the same period were selected as control group.The serum levels of MHR and HMGB1 were compared among three groups.Univariate analysis and multivariate Logistic regression analysis were used to ex-plore the influencing factors of sepsis patients complicating with myocardial injury.Receiver operating characteristic(ROC)curve was used to analyze the predictive value of MHR and HMGB1 on myocar-dial injury in sepsis patients.Results Compared with the control group,the levels of MHR and HMGB1 were increased in the myocardial injury group and without myocardial injury group,the levels of MHR and HMGB1 in the myocardial injury group were higher than those in the without myocardial injury group(P＜0.05).Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Status Score System Ⅱ(APACHE Ⅱ)score,Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA)score and cardiac troponin Ⅰ(cTnⅠ),amino-ter-minal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-proBNP),interleukin-6(IL-6),tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)levels were higher in the myocardial injury group were higher than those in the without myocardial injury group(P＜0.05).Multivariate Logistic regression analysis showed that APACHE Ⅱscore,SOFA score,NT-proBNP,cTnⅠ,IL-6 and TNF-α were independent influencing factors of myocardial injury in sepsis patients(P＜0.05).ROC curve analysis showed that MHR combined with HMGB1 had a higher value in predicting myocardial injury in sepsis patients than MHR and HMGB1 alone(P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression levels of MHR and HMGB1 in serum of sepsis patients with myocardial injury are increased,and the combination of MHR and HMGB1 can effectively predict myocardial injury in patients with sepsis.According to the main risk factors of my-ocardial injury in patients with sepsis,the formulation and implementation of targeted measures are of positive significance to improve the prognosis of patients.
