Journal of Practical Stomatology 1995;0(04):-
Objective: To observe the effects of Nd:YAG laser on dental pulp of rhesus monkeys and compare the effects between methylene blue and silver nitrate on laser irradiation. Methods: 27 teeth of 3 monkeys were irradiated respectively by 1 592 mJ/mm 2 ,3 185 mJ/mm 2 or 4 777 mJ/mm 2 Nd:YAG laser. Befor irridiation 9 teeth were treated with methylene blue on the surfaces and 9 treated with silver nitrate. The other 3 teeth were used as controll. One hour after irradiation, pulp samples were obtained and observed with histological examination. Results: No harmful response was observed in the dental pulp following laser irradiation at 1 592 mJ/mm 3 no matter what teatment of occlusional surfaces. Mild change were observed in the pulp irradiated with the laser at 3 185 mJ/mm 2. Severe damages were found in the 4 777 mJ/mm 2 laser treated group.Methylene blue could enhance pulp damage but silver nitrate could minish the damage by isolating tooth surface from laser beam. Conclusion: Great output energy of Nd:YAG laser may cause damaging effects on dental pulp and the use of absorption dye onto the surface of teeth may enhance the effect of laser irradiation.
2.In Vitro Inhibitory Effect of Wogonin on Human Osteosarcoma
China Pharmacy 2007;0(36):-
OBJECTIVE:To study the inhibitory effect of wogonin on human osteosarcoma. METHODS:MTT chromatometry was employed to determine the the influence of wogonin to the activity of U2OS cell line and its time-dependent effect and dose-dependent effect against osteosarcoma cell line detected. The apoptosis of wogonin-treated U2OS cells was determined by flow cytometry together with morphological observation, meanwhile the cell cycle of U2OS cell line was analyzed. RESULTS:The growth of U2OS cells was inhibited and the apoptosis of which was promoted by wogonin in a time-dependent and dose-dependent manner. The U2OS cells were arrested at G0/G1 phase with conspicuous apoptotic peak, nuclear fragmentation and chromosome agglomeration. The IC50 against U2OS cells stood at (37.18?1.57) ?mol?mL-1. CONCLUSION:Wogonin can inhibit cell growth and promote apoptosis of U2OS cells.
3.Study on the quality standard for Liyan granule
Chinese Pharmaceutical Journal 2001;(2):125-127
OBJECTIVE To establish a quality standard for Liyan granule.METHODS Honeysukle flower in the granule was identified by TLC.The developing agent was the upper solvent of butyl acetate formil acid-water(7∶2.5∶2.5).The dual wavelength spectrophotometry was applied for the determination of chlorogenic acid in granule. And the acute toxicity test was accomplished.RESULT The TLC for the identification of Honeysule flower in the granule was accurate. The uv for chlorogenic acid was reliable. The linear range of chlorogenic acid was 0.46~46.00 μg*mL-1(r=0.9992),and the recovery was 97.33%,RSD=1.49%.The acute toxicity test showed that the maximal tolerable dose in rats was equivalent to 850 times of the clinical dosage in human.CONCLUSION This method could be used as the quality control during the production of Liyan granule.
5.Expression of matrix metalloproteinases in inflamed human dental pulps
Journal of Practical Stomatology 2000;0(05):-
Objective: To investigate the role of host derived matrix metalloproteinases (MMPs) in the pathogenesis of pulpitis. Methods:The expressions of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were examined by immunohistochemical method and the activity of MMP-2 and MMP-9 were measured by gelatin zymography in 20 clinically healthy and 20 inflamed human dental pulps of extracted mandibular 3rd molars. Results:In clinically healthy and inflamed human pulps both MMP-2 and MMP-9 were expressed in odontoblasts and fibroblasts. The pro-MMP-9 was detectable in both inflamed and healthy pulps. The level of pro-MMP-9 was higher in inflamed pulps than that in the healthy(P0.05).Pro-MMP-2 and active MMP-2 were not detectable in the pulps of the two groups. Conclusion:MMP-9 may involve in the pathogenesis of pulpitis.

Objective To investigate the risk factors and biomarkers for early diagnosis and treatment for myocardial ischemia during endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) in patients aged ≥75 years,in order to improve the effectiveness and security of ERCP.Methods A total of 82 patients undergoing ERCP in our hospital from Jan.2013 to Dec.2014 were divided into the elderly group (n =42,aged≥75 years) and the non-elderly group (n =40,aged <75 years). The pre-and post-operative ECG findings, laboratory serological indexes,ERCP operating parameters and post-operative complications were compared between two groups. Results ASA grade was increased in elderly patients as compared with the non-elderly group. The intraoperative hypothermia, preoperative infection and jaundice, and hypertension were risk factors for myocardial ischemia during ERCP.The biochemical indexes including myeloperoxidase, creatine kinase and cardiac troponin Ⅰ were the biomarkers for early diagnosis of myocardial ischemia in patients with non-specific changes of ST-T wave. The indications of anesthesia meeting operation, the consecutive and close anesthesia monitoring, application of nitroglycerin, thermal insulation during operation, oxygen inhalation can effectively relieve myocardial ischemia during ERCP operation. Conclusions The early discovering and effectively treating myocardial ischemia during ERCP can ensure the safe and effectiveness of ERCP in elderly patients aged ≥75 years.

Objective:To review the inactivation effect of high-voltage pulsed electric field on microorganism to provid theoretical basis for the further research and sterilization application of high-voltage pulsed electric field. Methods:The combination of high-volt-age pulse electric field, microbiology and pulse electric field as the keywords, the research results of high-voltage pulsed electric field on microbial inactivation in PubMed, CNKI, VIP Chinese journal full text database and Wanfang database during 2010 and 2015 were retrieved, summarized and reviewed. Results:As a non-thermal sterilization technology, high-voltage pulsed electric field not only had the characteristics of short sterilization time, narrow increasing extent of temperature and low energy consumption, but also could keep the original flavor of food. Conclusion:With the development of related technology, high-voltage pulsed electric field is expected to re-alize industrialization.

Objective:To study the effects of parathyroid hormone(PTH) upon dentinogenesis by investigating the effects of hPTH1-34 on the development and calcification of parathyroidectomy rats' dentin. Methods: hPTH1-34 were injected into SD rats at different dosages after parathyroidectomy. Six weeks later lower incisors were dissected and prepared for light microscopy and image analysis. Results:The concentration of serum calcium decreased after parathyroidectomy, while increased after being injected hPTH1-34. The results of light microscopy and image analysis revealed the enlargement of the predentinal tubules and the presence of mineralization defects in the PTX group(P
