The index of nutritional and immune in two groups were descend, but the trail group was better(P<0.01). The number of IgG,IgA, IgM, CD3+ in the trail group were significantly higher than the control group(P<0.01),the rate of postoperative infectious complications in the trail group was lower than the control group. The trail group aslo showed shorter average length of stay after surgery than the control(P<0.01).Conclusion: The peptisorb can ameliorate the host immune function and improve clinical outcome, which is a good nutrition support pathway to perioperative colorectal cance patinets.
2.Experimental study on the transparency of different all-ceramic materials and their color changes under different backgrounds.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2014;32(4):409-412
OBJECTIVETo evaluate the aesthetic outcomes of all-ceramic restorations by using four different porcelain materials on mimic-tetracycline pigmentation backgrounds.
METHODSThe translucency parameters (TP) of four different all-ceramic restorations (IPS e.max, Cercon, Lava, and Girrbach) were measured under white and black back grounds by using Datacolor 600, and the TP of each group (n = 8) was calculated. Five different mimic-tetracycline pigmentation teeth were printed with different colors by using a colorized printer as the prepared teeth backgrounds, under which the color parameters of each group were measured. The color differences with a standard 2M2 sample were calculated.
RESULTSThe TP values of the all-ceramic restorations were 15.67 +/- 0.58 for IPS e.max, 9.73 +/- 0.43 for Girrbach, 9.55 +/- 0.25 for Lava, and 7.56 +/- 0.43 for Cercon. The TP value of the IPS e.max group was significantly higher than those of the other three groups (P < 0.001). The deltaE of the IPS e.max group was 1.33 national bureau of standards (NBS) on the yellow background, and the deltaE of the Lava and Girrbach groups were 0.75 NBS to 1.47 NBS on the mimic-tetracycline pigmentation backgrounds of gray, dark gray, dark red, and light red.
CONCLUSIONThe IPS e.max group has favorable TP. IPS e.max shows better aesthetic effects than the others when restoring mimic-tetracycline pigmentation teeth (on yellow background). Lava and Girrbach show better aesthetic effects on mimic-tetracycline pigmentation teeth (on gray, dark gray, dark red, and light red backgrounds).

BACKGROUND: Having the advantages of safety, non-invasion and no side-effects, functional magnetic stimulation (FMS) has been applied in central nervous system (CNS) neurotransmission, recovery from nervous exhaustion, bone healing, treatment of neural disorders and research of brain function, and so on.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the role of FMS on voiding dysfunction.DESIGN: In this study, sacral third nerve root (S3) and bladder FMS was applied in treatment on patients with voiding dysfunction.SETTING: Department of Rehabilitation Medicine, Tongji Hospital,Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technique. PARTICIPANTS: Eight patients with voiding dysfunction in Department of Urinology, Tongji Hospital, Tongji Medical College, Huazhong University of Science and Technique were recruited from June 2003 to june 2004. Of them, 3 had occult spinal dysraphism in lumbar-sacral vertebra, 4 had frequent micturition and urgency syndrome. All these three patients received long-term comprehensive treatment but had no satisfied effect. One patient had autistic disorder and underwent surgery on Hirschsprung's disease.METHODS: Eight patients with voiding dysfunction underwent S3 nerve root and bladder FMS by MagLite magnetic stimulation system (product of Dantec Company, Denmark), twice a day, five days a week and in a duration of 4-8 weeks. Quality of life (QOL) in patients with voiding dysfunction were assessed before and after treatment using the lower urinary tract syndrome (LUTS) score and QOL score (grade 0-6, lower grade represented higher QOL)as subjective measures (grade 0-5, lower grade represented better therapeutic effect).mean voided volume and the maximum voided volume before and after assessed.RESULTS: All of the 8 patients with a diagnosis of voiding dysfunction in the Department of Urology received FMS treatment and entered the statistition and urgency syndrome were improved significantly, with the urine frequency decreased, the mean voided volume increased and the urgency alleviated. Among them 3 were completely recovered and one has no thera273 and the post-treatment score was 52. Before treatment, the QOL score affected by LUTS and after treatment, the score decreased to 11.CONCLUSION: FMS can partly improve the symptoms of refractory voiding dysfunction and improve the quality of life.

Acta Nutrimenta Sinica 1956;0(02):-
The relationships of the quality and quantity of dietary protein, the level of fasting serum and 8-hour overnight urine free amino acids and blood pressure were studied in three natural Chinese populations. The results showed that the ratio of dietary animal protein/total dietary protein, the ratio of dietary protein/dietary sodium, serum and urine taurine, lysine etc were inversely associated with blood pressure significantly. Alanine was positively associated with blood pressure. Most serum free amino acids were positively correlated with the ratio of dietary protein/dietary sodium. Urine taurine, lysine and asparagine were positively correlated with dietary protein, dietary and urine sodium significantly. These results suggested that high quality protein which is rich in taurine, lysine etc might prevent hypertension.
