Objective To investigate the expression of heat shock protein (HSP) 60 and analyze the significance in cervical carcinoma. Methods The cervical tissue samples of 57 cases of cervical cancer and 57 normal cervical tissues were collected. The expression of HSP60 were detected by semi-quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). The protein expressions of HSP60 were determined by Western blot analysis. To observe the relationship between HSP60 expression and the occurrence and development of cervical cancer. Results HSP60 mRNA expression in normal cervical tissue was significantly lesser than that in cervical cancer tissue (t=2.65, P0.05). The levels of HSP60 protein expression in normal cervical tissue was significantly lower than the expression in cervical cancer tissue (t=3.132, P

Platypnea orthodeoxia syndrome is associated with dyspnea and arterial oxygen desaturation accentuated by an upright posture. It can be secondary to an intracardiac shunt. We report a case of platypnea-orthodeoxia syndrome (POS) in a 58-year old male patient who had a pre-existing patent foramen ovale (PFO) and substantial pulmonary pathologies. He was successfully treated by percutaneous transcatheter closure of the PFO. Our case highlights the importance of recognition of this rare syndrome in patients who present with unexplained hy-poxia for whom transcatheter closure of the interatrial shunt can be safely carried out.

Objective To discuss the microstructure and properties of vascular puncture with a blunt needle Pix'L filling injection. Methods Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and photoelectron spectroscopy were employed for the analysis of the different morphology and elements, and a rat model was established to study thrusts of different microcannulas and hypodermic needle when stabing vessels.Ultimately we analyzed the correlation between the morphology and puncture force of different microcannulas. Results The SEM images of microcannulas from different manufacturers were different, and revealed the different technics of different manufacturers.Puncture forces of different microcannulas corresponded to the cross-section and smooth degree of the tips. Conclusions The SEM morphology and puncture force of microcannulas from different manufacturers are different, which indicate the different characters and usability.Plastic surgeons should select to use them more judiciously.

OBJECTIVETo investigate the corrosion resistant properties of titanium samples prepared by anodic oxidation with different surface morphologies.
METHODSPure titanium substrates were treated by anodic oxidation to obtain porous titanium films in micron, submicron, and micron-submicron scales. The surface morphologies, coating cross-sectional morphologies, crystalline structures, and surface roughness of these samples were characterized. Electrochemical technique was used to measure the corrosion potential (Ecorr), current density of corrosion (Icorr), and polarization resistance (Rp) of these samples in a simulated body fluid.
RESULTSPure titanium could be modified to exhibit different surface morphologies by the anodic oxidation technique. The Tafel curve results showed that the technique can improve the corrosion resistance of pure titanium. Furthermore, the corrosion resistance varied with different surface morphologies. The submicron porous surface sample demonstrated the best corrosion resistance, with maximal Ecorr and Rp and minimal Icorr.
CONCLUSIONAnodic oxidation technology can improve the corrosion resistance of pure titanium in a simulated body fluid. The submicron porous surface sample exhibited the best corrosion resistance because of its small surface area and thick barrier layer.

Objective To investigate the effects of enhanced recovery after surgery (ERAS) combined with laparoscopic common bile duct exploration (LCBDE) in elderly patients with choledocholithiasis. Methods From Jan 2015 to Dec 2016,in the control group 40 patients received conventional perioperative management and 40 patients in the ERAS group followed the ERAS protocol. The operative details and outcomes were compared in the two groups. Results No perioperative death occurred during the study period. There was no statistically significant difference between the two groups in operative time and intraoperative blood loss (t =1.04,0.88,P >0.05).Patients in ERAS group showed significantl shorter time of gastrointestinal tract peristalsis,off-bed,postoperative infusion, food intake, and abdominal drainage tube removal,as well as reduced weight loss, length of hospital stay and total cost than those in the control group (P < 0.05).There were no significant difference of preoperative CRP and PCT,IL-6 in the 2 groups (t =1.18,0.44,1.49,P > 0.05),However,the CRP and PCT,IL-6 levels in ERAS group were significantly lower than those in control group at postoperative days 1,4,7 (P < 0.05).Furthermore,postoperative complications developed in 3 (7.5%),and 12 (30.0%) respectively (x2 =6.47,P < 0.05).Conclusions Minimally invasive surgery combined with ERAS is safe and cost-effective approach for elderly patients of choledocholithiasis.

Objective:
To compare the efficacy and safety of Cardi-O-fix patent foramen ovale (PFO) occluder and Amplatzer PFO occluder for the treatment of patients with PFO.
Methods:
A total of 246 consecutive patients (105 males and 141 females) with PFO were prospectively enrolled from May 30, 2013 to March 30, 2015 in our hospital. PFO interventional closure was applied according to the anatomical structure of the disease and patients′ wishes.Cardi-O-fix PFO occluder was used in 180 cases (COF group), Amplatzer PFO occluder was used in the remaining 66 cases (Amp group). Post-procedure safety including recurrent stroke, transient ischemic attack, death, and complete closure rate, and efficacy including procedure related complications of different devices were compared during the 12 months follow-up.
Results:
(1) Rate of transient ischemic attack was similar between COF group and Amp group at 12 months after procedure(1.1%(2/180) vs. 1.5%(1/66),

Objective:
To provide a reference for a suitable alternative treatment choice for implant-supported prostheses, and to explore the influence of 3 types of prosthetic material on the stress distribution around implant.
Methods:
The implant-abutment analogs were embedded individually into photoelastic resin blocks, which were medical pure titanium castings reproducing the surface and outline of implant (diameter 4.3 mm, length 11.5 mm) and esthetic abutment (regular profile, 1 mm). The prostheses were divided into 3 groups according to the type of prosthetic material. Each group consisted of 5 samples. The samples of composite resin ceramic and zirconia group were milled by chair-side computer aided design and computer aided manufacture (CAD/CAM) system. The samples of porcelain-fused-to-metal crown group were made manually and a pre-arranged silicone rubber impression of CAD/CAM crown would guide to shape the veneer porcelain. Each set was submitted to a 300 N compressive load axially or obliquely (75°). The stress value in the peri-implant bone at the level of the neck, neck1/3, middle1/3 and root1/3 of the sections (0.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 mm) from implant was analyzed by digital photoelasticity, and the stress cushioning effect of 3 types of prosthetic material was comprehensively evaluated.
Results:
The time spent reaching the stress peak of composite resin ceramic group [(1.58±0.08) s, axially; (2.75±0.21) s, obliquely] was larger than that of the zirconia group [(1.40±0.12) s, axially; (2.30±0.25) s, obliquely] (
