China Pharmacy 1991;0(04):-
OBJECTIVE:To prepare hydrocortisone lotion and establish its quality control method. METHODS: The lotion was prepared with hydrocortisone, and the content of hydrocortisone was determined by ultravidet spectrophotometry. The stability of the prepartion and its skin stimulus were investigated as well. RESULTS: The preparation was colorless limpid liquid and up to the standard specified in Chinese Pharmacopeia (2005 Edition) in the related test. The linear range of hydrocortisone was 5.0~30 ?g?mL-1(r=0.999 0) and the average recovery was 100.09% (RSD=0.17%). After storing for 3 and 6 months, respectively, no obvious change was noted for the preparation. The skin stimulus experiment showed that it caused no side effects such as erythema on skin or edema etc. CONCLUSION: This lotion is simple in preparing process, and its quality is stable and controllable.

Objective To investigate the effect of type II dengue virus infection on the survival rate of Aedes albopictus, to provide basic data for the prevention and control of dengue fever. Methods The Aedes albopictus C6/36 cells were cultured to amplify and harvest type Ⅱ dengue virus. After emergence, the lab-domesticated Aedes albopictus was fed daily with freshly prepared 10% glucose water under 28℃ and humidity ≥70%, and used for infection experiment at 3-5 days of age. The day before infection, male mosquitoes were selected out, and the female mosquitoes were divided into infected and uninfected groups, deprived of food and water. When infected, they respectively were fed blood meals containing or without dengue virus typeⅡ(the blood meal of the uninfected group was the same as the infected group's, minus the presence of TypeⅡ dengue virus), and the saturated blood mosquitoes were fed with 10% glucose water. The survival of mosquitoes in two groups was observed and recorded daily. On the 14th day after blood feeding, the nucleic acid of dengue virus typeⅡof Aedes albopictus was detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR, and the infection rate was calculated. The survival rates of infected and uninfected Aedes albopictus were calculated and compared. The survival curves of the two groups were plotted using survival analysis and the log-rank test was performed. Results A total of 99 infected saturated blood Aedes albopictus were reared in the infected group, and 83 in the uninfected group. By the 14th day after infection, 31 and 15 mosquitoes had died in the infected and uninfected groups respectively, with mortality rates of 31.31% (31/99) and 18.07% (15/83), respectively, indicating a higher mortality rate in the infected group. The log-rank test showed that the survival curve of the infected group of Aedes albopictus was lower than that of the uninfected group (χ2=4.121 9, P<0.05). The infection rate of Aedes albopictus detected by fluorescence quantitative PCR was 77.94% (53/68). Conclusion TypeⅡdengue virus infection can reduce the survival rate of Aedes albopictus.

Sample of Pingle Jiegu Dan was extracted with methanol, n-butyl ethanol and absorbed with coarse-hole resin, and its total saponin content of notoginseng was determined with spectrophotometry. The result was reproducible. This method effectively excludes the interferential elements in a complex preparation and can be employed as a method for quantitative analysis. Meanwhile, it also provides a reference for the quantitative analysis of preparation containing notoginseng.

Journal of Practical Radiology 2000;16(12):721-723
Objective:To evaluate the value of CT in the diagnosis of skeletal metastases from hepatoma.Methods:27 patients proved by clinical or pathological materials were analysed retrospectively. Results:All the lesion were osteolytic on CT scans. The most frequently involved areas were spine(26%),ribs(22%),pelvis(19%)and femur(11%).Conclusion:CT scan is superior to X-ray plain flims in showing the lesions. Most foci can be diagnosed accurately.

BACKGROUND:The residual alveolar ridge in edentulous patients with osteoporosis always presents with a poor shape, which increases the difficulty in complete denture restoration.Until now, there are no predictors for residual alveolar ridge resorption or guidelines on the frequency of denture relines.OBJECTIVE:To investigate the correlation between the frequency of complete denture relines and serum bone turnover markers, osteocalcin (OC) and cross-linked carboxy-terminal telopeptide of type Ⅰ collagen (CTX),in elderly edentulous patients with osteoporosis,in order to provide reference for complete denture repair.METHODS:According to inclusion criteria,50 elderly edentulous patients with osteoporosis who had complete dentures were recruited in the study randomly. The frequency of complete denture relines was surveyed by related questionnaire and medical record, and the serum OC and CTX levels were detected by electrochemiluminescence immunoassay.Related data were analyzed statistically via Pearson correlation analysis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:It showed a strong positive correlation between the frequency of complete denture relines and the serum OC level (r=0.517,P < 0.01).No significant correlation between relines frequency and the serum CTX level was observed (r=0.278,P=0.051 > 0.05),but it showed a similar tendency between them. These findings indicate that to detect the levels of serum bone turnover markers may be conducive to evaluating curative effect of complete dentures in elderly edentulous patients with osteoporosis as well as to making subsequent diagnostic and therapeutic strategies.

Objective:
To investigate the value of MRI in the early diagnosis of diagnosis of dysbaric osteonecrosis.
Methods:
Labor hygiene investigation and occupation health were examined on 52 high pressure operating personnel, were selected for the examination of both shoulders, hips and knees with X-ray and CT scan.
Results:
The cystic sign in dysbaric osteonecrosis as an important imaging feature, which perform in the MRI examination for T1W I sequence showed low or slightly low signal and T2W I sequence showed high signal, and X-ray and CT have a lower detection rate than MRI. The Kappa consistency test showed a high consistency with the two methods. At the same time MRI examination also can discover the bone marrow cavity necrosis early pathological change.
Conclusion
MRI is an effective method for the diagnosis of early dysbaric osteonecrosis, which can improve the early diagnosis rate of dysbaric osteonecrosis.

Objective:To explore the effect of information-based health education on stress response and examination success rate of patients undergoing enhanced CT examination. Methods:A total of 1 064 patients who underwent enhanced CT examination in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from March 2017 to February 2020 were selected as research objects by the convenient sampling method. A total of 554 patients who underwent enhanced CT examination from March 2017 to August 2018 were selected as the routine group and received routine health education. A total of 510 patients who underwent enhanced CT examination from September 2018 to February 2020 were selected as the information group to implement information-based health education. Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) were used to investigate patients in the two groups. The examination success rate, examination quality, physical and mental stress response and adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results:The success rate and quality of enhanced CT examination in the information group were higher than those in the routine group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . After intervention, the SAS score, SDS score, heart rate, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure in the information technology group were lower than those in the conventional group, and the differences were statistically significant ( P<0.05) . Conclusions:Information-based health education can improve the quality of enhanced CT examination, improve the success rate of examinations and reduce the incidence of physical and mental stress and adverse reactions in patients.
