1.Effects of total glucosides of paeony(TGP) on immune system
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1989;0(06):-
The hemolysin (IgM) production by mouse splenic lymphocytes immunized with sheep red blood cell in vitro was enhanced by lower concentrations (0.1-0.4?g/ml) of total glucosidcs of pacony (TGP), but diminished by higher concentrations (0.4-3.2?g/ml) of the drug. The dual effects of TGP on ConA induoed proliferation of mouse splenocytcs was also observed by in vitro treatment with TGP over a range of 0.05-1.6?g/ml. These results suggested that effects of TGP on immune system was definitely depend on the concentrations of TGP administered. The specific helper T (Th) cclls were induced by irradiation with ~(60)Co at 800R plus primed thymocytes and were measured by the adoptiver transfer system. It was found that the higher generation of Th cells incroosed further by TGP (5mg/kg, ip).

Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(01):-
Objective To evaluate the value of diagnose of colon carcinoma by colonoscopy and double contrast radiography. Methods The results and data of radiography diagnosis, colonscopy diagnosis, biopsy and post-operation pathology were analyzed retrospectively. Results The rate of accordance by X-ray diagnosis was 85.4%,colonscopy 80.5% and biopsy 84.6%.Conclusion The method of examination of colon double contrast radiography preceeds to colonoscopy examination when the patients were suspected suffering from the right colon or left colon carcinoma accompanying by masses;colonoscopy is the first method of diagnosis to choose when the patients were suspected suffering from carcinoma of sigmoid colon or colon polyps undergoing malignant changes.
3.Effects of captopril on free radical production and it's immune function
Chinese Journal of Pathophysiology 1986;0(02):-
Captopril (CPT, 40, 80mg/kg, ig) enhanced serum superoxide dismutaseactivity, and suppressed luminal-dependent chemiluminescence of peritoneal macrophagesin mice. CPT (160mg/kg, ig) had a suppressive action on lipid peroxidation of mice. Theseresults suggested that CPT had antioxygen free radical effect or anti-lipid peroxidationeffects. CPT at 25 ?g/ml concentration suppressed ConA-induced prolifeation of mousesplenic T lymphocytes in vitro, which suggested that CPT had a suppressive effct on Tlymphocyte function.

Poly ( aniline_luminol ) composite nanowires were synthesized by chemical oxidation using ammonium peroxydisulfate. In contrast to the maximum fluorescence emitting wavelength of luminol at 425 nm, the maximum fluorescence emitting wavelength of the polymeric luminol in the composite nanowires was red shifted to 465 nm obviously. The poly ( aniline_luminol) composite nanowires were modified on graphite electrode surface by drop coating, forming a stable poly ( aniline_luminol ) composite nanowires film. The composite nanowires film modified electrode presented favorable electrochemiluminescence ( ECL ) performances, and the ECL response could be enhanced by hydrogen peroxide. Under the optimized experimental conditions, the modified electrode provided a linear range of 5. 0×10-9-1. 0×10-5 mol/L for the detection of hydrogen peroxide with a detection limit of 2 ×10-9 mol/L.

Objective To study the clinical value of 64-slice spiral computed tomography(64SCT) contrast-enhanced scan and three-dimensional reconstructed techniques in the diagnosis of complex congenital heart disease(CCHD). Methods 39 patients with CCHD underwent CT angiography and transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE). Of them, the electrocardiographic-gating technique was used in 8 cases. The accurate rates in diagnosing CCHD with CT, TTE and CT with or without electrocardiographic-gating were analysed compared with that of operation and χ~2 test using SPSS13.0 tool. Results A total of 102 cardiac deformities con-firmed by operations, those included 47 intracardiac deformities, the diagnostic accuracys with CT and TTE were 85.1% and 95.7%, respectively, and there was no obvious difference among them (χ~2=2.68, P>0.05). 55 extracardiac deformities, the definite diagnos-tic rates with CT and TTE were 98.2% and 78.2%, respectively. CT was superior to TTE in the indentification of extracardiac de-formities(χ~2= 14.64 ,P<0.01). There was no obvious difference between with and without electrocardiographic-gating technique during CT scanning in diagnosis of cardiac deformities(χ~2=1.84, P>0.05). Conclusion 64SCT has significant value in diagnosis of CCHD,and there was no obvious difference in diagnosis of cardiac deformities by 64SCT between with and without electrocardio-graphic-gating technic.
