OBJECTIVE:To establish the quality standard of Zhijishu lotion. METHODS: Phellodendron chinense, Radix et Rhizoma Rhei,Radix Sanguisorbae in Zhijishu lotion was qualitatively identified by TLC, and the content of berberine hydrochloride was determined by HPLC. RESULTS: The TLC spots of the constituents were clear, well-separated and specific. The linear range of berberine hydrochloride was 0.237 5～1.900 0 ?g(r=0.999 9) and the average recovery was 99.30%(RSD=0.03%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The established quality standard is applicable for the quality control of Zhijishu lotion.

Objective To analyze the value of PET/CT for diagnosis of recurrence and metastasis of dif-ferentiated thyroid carcinoma ( DTC) .Methods 65 patients with DTC in Thyroid Surgery Department of the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from Dec .2005 to Jan.2015 were collected.Based on the values of serum thyroglobulin(Tg),the patients were divided into 2 groups.29 cases with positive Tg were the observation group and 36 cases with negative Tg were the control group .All patients underwent PET/CT examination one year after surgery.Patients with positive findings from image studies underwent surgical excision and postoperative pathological diagnosis .Clinical data of the 2 groups were then summarized and discussed .Results There was no significant difference on the general conditions between the 2 groups(P>0.05).Tg values were statistically dif-ferent 6 months and 1 year after surgery between the 2 groups(P<0.05).Tg values of both groups decreased 1 year after surgery, but without statistical difference (P>0.05).9 cases in the observation group and 1 case in the control group had positive findings on image study .All the cases with cervical lymph nodes presented as high uptake of 18 F-FDG.All patients who had positive findings on PET/CT underwent surgical removal of the abnormal lymph nodes which confirmed by pathology as lymph node metastasis .Conclusion PET/CT is very important for diagno-sis of recurrence and metastasis on Tg(Tg>2μg/L)positive,131I Dx-WBS imaging and US negative patients.

Objective Discussion of diagnosing insulinoma.Methods Retrospective analysis based on 45 cases of insulinoma patients that are collected by General Surgery Department in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University from June 2008 to October 2014.Results Forty-five cases of patients with insulinoma including 41 cases (91.11％) of functional insulinoma and 4 cases (8.89％) of non-functional insulinoma.Apply selective arteriography,preoperative ultrasound,intraoperative ultrasound and CT to diagnosis.Forty-five cases of patients with insulinoma,in which 18 cases with laparoscopic simple tumor resection,6 cases with laparoscopic splenectomy and tail of the pancreas resection;45 cases of insulinoma with laprotomy,in which 8 cases with pancreaticoduodenectomy,12 cases which the tumors were located in the neck,neck-line of the pancreas with local excision of the pancreas and pancreatic tail-jejunal Roux-en-Y anastomosis,one cases of laparotomy found no placeholder.Conclusions Surgery removal is currently the most successful way to eliminate insulinoma.And localization diagnosis can determine the outcome of the surgery.Co-operation of surgery removal and localization diagnosis can be the optimal approach to diagnose certain insulinoma.

OBJECTIVE: To prepare Kuijieyu enemas and establish its quality standard.METHODS: Most of traditional Chinese medicines in prescription were decocted using water and some were crushed.Then they were concentrated to prepare enemas.Pueraria lobata,Rhizoma Coptidis,Scutellaria baicalensis in Kuijieyu enemas were qualitatively identified by TLC.The content of baicalin in Kuijieyu enemas was determined by HPLC.RESULTS: The TLC spots were clear,well-separated and specific.The linear range of baicalin were 210～1 750 ?g(r=0.999 9) with an average recovery of 99.13% (RSD=1.1%,n=6).CONCLUSION: The preparation process is simple and convenient.The quality control method is simple,reliable,specific and reproducible.

Objective To study the change of mid-regional pro-adrenomedullin(MR-proADM) level in patients with chronic heart failure and its significance.Methods Randomly selected 330 patients with chronic heart failure,including 120 cases of grade Ⅱ and Ⅲ,90 cases of grade Ⅳ,90 cases were selected.,Within 24 h after the entry of the group and 7 d after symptom relieved,serum N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide(NT-proBNP),MR-proADM,cardiac ultrasound(left ventricular diameter(LVEDD) and left ventricular function(LVEF)) were measured.Ninety physical examination in the same period as healthy control during the same period.The change of MR-proADM level in patients with chronic heart failure and its significance were analyze.Results Compared with the healthy control group,the level of MR-proADM in patients with chronic heart failure(grade Ⅱ:(641.55±106.34) pmol/l;grade Ⅲ:(684.46±101.33) pmol/l;grade Ⅳ:(737.81±479.37) pmol/l) was significantly higher than that in the control group(610.22±60.84) pmol/l),the difference was statistically significant(F=5.33,P=0.001).At the same time,the level of MR-proADM was increased with the aggravation of heart failure,after drug treatment will decline((608.09±100.81),(617.64±94.32),(642.22±163.53) pmol/L).And MR-proADM levels were significantly positively correlated with NT-proBNP levels and NYHA classification in patients with heart failure(r=0.194,P=0.003;r=0.206,P=0.000).Conclusion MR-proADM has important guiding significance in the diagnosis,classification of patients with chronic heart failure.

Objective To define the variety and action mechanism of endogenous health resources as well as their economic features, utilization results and influence and to put forward suggestions for giving priority to their development in policy making. Methods Materials from on the spot investigations and materials already available were used to conduct a positive economic study by means of combining document summaries with descriptive studies and analyses. Results Static, exogenous and endogenous health resources were defined, the contribution rate of progress in science and technology in 23 hospitals was determined to be 35.5%, senior human resources were found to be scarce, and the competitiveness of hospitals at the central hospital level was discovered to be weak. Conclusion Effective utilization and optimum distribution of endogenous health resources constitute the key to the realization of the structural readjustment of the health industry and the attainment of sustainable economic growth and development.

Objective To study the effect of Pingchuan Formula(PCF)on Rho/Rock signaling pathway in the mice of asthmatic model, explore the mechanism of PCF on asthma. Methods Forty BALB/C mice were randomly divided into four groups:a control group, a model group,a dexamethasone group and a PCF group. After treated with medicine for 4 weeks, albumen expression of RhoA and RockI in lung tissues were detected by using Western blot, mRNA expressions of RhoA and RockI were detected by using Real-time PCR. Results The albumen and the mRNA expression of RhoA and RockI in the model group were(1.05± 0.20),(1.06±0.08),(6.60±1.09), (6.53±1.84), the control group were(0.76±0.08), (0.84±0.14), (3.82± 1.77), (3.65±1.46),there was a significant difference between two groups(P<0.01). The albumen and the mRNA expression of RhoA and RockI in the dexamethasone group were(0.78±0.11), (0.87±0.32), (4.19± 2.33), (4.09±1.08), there was a significant difference compared with the model group(P<0.01). The PCF group were(0.86±0.12), (0.93±0.14), (4.38±2.01), (4.50±1.13), there was a difference compared with the model group(P<0.05). These was no difference between the dexamethasone group and the PCF group(P>0.05). Conclusion The expressions of Rho/Rock signaling pathway were controlled significantly by PCF, and the curative effect was similar to dexamethasone.

To observe the changes of interferon-γ (IFN-γ) and interleukin-4 (IL-4), factors related to T helper 1/T helper 2 (Th1/Th2), in airway inflammation in an asthmatic model of mice and the effects of Pingchuan Formula (PCF), a compound traditional Chinese herbal medicine.

Objective This study analyzes the expression and clinical significance of Gli1 and Gli3 proteins in hepatocellular carcinoma.Methods 36 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma were studied.The expressions of Gli1 and Gli3 in the carcinoma and adjacent non-tumor tissues were detected with immunohistochemical assay,and their correlations with clinicopathological factors were statistically analyzed.Results Expression rates of Gli1 in hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent nontumor tissues were 75 ％ and 36.1％,respectively.Expression rates of Gli3 in hepatocellular carcinoma and adjacent non-tumor tissues were 58.3％ and 30.6％,respectively.Expression rates of Gli1 and Gli3 in hepatocellular carcinoma were significantly higher than in adjacent non-tumor tissues (P＜0.05),and a positive correlation was found between the expression of Gli1 and Gli3 (r=0.423,P＜0.05).There was no association between the expression of Gli3 and clinicopathological factors such as age,tumor size,tumor differentiation and lymphatic metastasis.The expression of Gll1 was not related witha patient's age and tumor size,hut there were significant associations with tumor differentiation and lymphatic metastasis.Conclusions Therefore,the expression rate of Gli1 was positively correlated with tumor malignancy,which makes the detection of Gli1 and Gli3 valuable for the diagnosis and prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma.
