Objective:To evaluate the feasibility of making individualized scanning and contrast injection protocol based on body mass index (BMI) and body weight during dynamic myocardial computed perfusion (CTP) imaging in order to get high-quality images while drastically reducing radiation dose. Methods:A total of 128 patients with coronary heart disease diagnosed by coronary CTA (CCTA) performed CTP from June, 2019 to March, 2020 were prospectively enrolled. Patients were divided into six groups: group 1, BMI<24 kg/m 2, ≤60 kg, 70 kV; group 2,BMI<24 kg/m 2, 61≤kg≤70, 70 kV; group 3, BMI 24-28 kg/m 2, 61≤kg≤70, 80 kV; group 4, BMI 24-28 kg/m 2, 71≤kg≤80, 80 kV; group 5, BMI 24-28 kg/m 2,>80 kg, 80 kV;group 6, BMI>28 kg/m 2,>80 kg, 100 kV. 200 mA was fixed for all patients. Contrast agent with iodine containing 370 mg/ml was used in all patients. The iodine delivery rates (IDR) for each group was 0.8, 1.0, 1.2, 1.4, 1.6, 2.0 g/s, respectively. The attenuation and noise of left ventricle (LV) and septal myocardial were measured to calculate signal to noise ratio (SNR) and contrast to noise ratio (CNR) of the images in each group. The Shapiro-Wilk test was conducted to assess the normality of quantitative data. Quantitative variables were compared using one-way ANOVA if normally distributed. Results:The LV attenuation of the six groups were (506±85), (513±77), (510±81), (456±74), (477±111), (462±43) HU, respectively. There was no significant difference among them ( F=2.249, P=0.054). SNR values of LV were 23±8, 20±5, 21±5, 19±4, 19±7, 19±4, and CNR values were 19±7, 17±4, 17±4, 16±4, 15±6, 15±4, respectively. There were no significant differences among them ( F=1.674, 1.736, all P>0.05). Under a single CTP scan, the radiation dose of 70, 80 and 100 kV groups were 1.6, 2.3 and 4.3 mSv, respectively. The does of the 70 kV group and 80 kV group were significantly lower than that of the 100 kV group, and the dose of the 70 kV group was also significantly lower than that of the 80 kV group (all P<0.001). Conclusions:The application of individualized scanning and contrast agent injection protocol based on IDR is feasible in myocardial CTP with successful image quality, and the radiation dose decreases significantly.

Objective To observe the levels of interferon gamma-induced protein 10(IP-10)in children with acute viral and bacterial infection. Methods There were three groups:acute viral infection group(51 ca-ses),acute bacterial infection group(52 cases),and healthy control group(51 cases).Serum IP-10 levels were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay(ELISA),and serum C reactive protein(CRP)were deter-mined with BNⅡ automatic protein analyzer. Results The level of serum IP-10 and CRP were significantly different in different groups(P<0.05).Compared with control group, the level of IP-10 and CRP were higher in acute viral infection group or in acute bacterial infection group(P<0.05).The level of IP-10 was higher in acute viral infection group than that in acute bacterial infection group(P>0.05).The level of CRP was higher in bacterial infection group than that in acute viral infection group(P<0.05).The IP-10 levels in viral Infec-tion patients were not correlated with the CRP levels. The area under curve(AUC),sensitivity and specificity of IP-10 and CRP were 0.688 and 0.873,35.0% and 79.6%,96.1% and 98.0%.When cut-off value of predic-tive probability was 0.713,sensitivity and specificity were increased to 82.5% and 100.0%.Conclusion Ser-um IP-10,CRP and predictive probability are valuable in the diagnosis of acute pathogen infection in children.

Objective:This work aims to explore the application value of cervical exfoliated cell DNA (Cysteine dioxygenase type 1, CDO1 and CUGBP Elav-like family member 4, CELF4) methylation in the detection of endometrial cancer in women of childbearing age. Methods:From November 2021 to October 2022, a prospective study was conducted on a total number of 517 reproductive-age women with abnormal uterine bleeding who had surgical indications for hysteroscopy at the Xiangya Third Hospital of Central South University. The cervical exfoliated cells were collected for cytology, HPV (human papillomavirus) and gene methylation detection before operation. Clinical information of patients, level of tumor-related biomarkers, and endometrial thickness of transvaginal ultrasound (TVS) were also collected. Single factor regression method was used to analyze the high-risk factors of endometrial cancer. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used to obtain the area under the curve(AUC), focusing on the screening efficacy of gene methylation test for endometrial cancer in women of childbearing age. Results:The age, body mass index (BMI)≥25 kg/m 2, endometrial thickness≥11 mm, CDO1 m ΔCt≤8.4, CELF4 m ΔCt≤8.8, and double gene methylation were associated with endometrial cancer in women of childbearing age, 1.16(1.08-1.25), 4.33(1.89-10.31), 9.49(3.88-26.69), 69.62(25.70-224.36), 23.64(9.66-63.99), 87.39(24.83-555.05), all P<0.05. The AUC was 0.90 (95% CI 0.83-0.97) of CDO1 m/ CELF4 m in diagnosing endometrial carcinoma was higher than others factors, with sensitivity and specificity of 91.7% (95% CI 80.6%-100%) and 88.8% (95% CI 86.0%-91.6%). TVS combined with DNA methylation detection further improved the sensitivity to 95.8% (95% CI 87.8%-100%), but could not improve the specificity 68.0% (95% CI 63.8%-72.1%). Conclusions:For women of childbearing age with abnormal uterine bleeding or abnormal vaginal discharge, the accuracy of cervical cytology DNA methyl detection of endometrial cancer is better than other non-invasive clinical programs. DNA methylation combined with TVS can improve the sensitivity of detection.

Objective To investigate the expression change of serum antioxidant markers in cranofacial herpes zoster and its relationship with clinical severity and postherpetic neuralgia(PHN).Methods Totally 109 cases of cranofacial herpes zoster(cranofacial group)and 169 cases of non-cranofacial herpes zoster(non-cranofacial grlup)hospitalized in the Department of Dermatology in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Nanjing Medical University and 200 cases of health check-ups without underlying diseases(healthy control group)from January 2022 to December 2023 were selected, and the serum antioxidant markers including uric acid(UA),total bilirubin(TBIL),and albumin(ALB)of the patients in the three groups group were compared.Meanwhile, the relationship between these markers and clinical severity and PHN of cranofacial herpes zoster was assessed. Results The serum levels of UA,TBIL and ALB in the cranofacial group and non-cranofacial were significantly lower than those in the healthy control group(P<0.05).Serum UA,TBIL and ALB levels in cranofacial group were significantly lower than those in non-cranofacial group(P<0.05),and were nega-tively correlated with disease severity(P<0.05).Serum UA,TBIL and ALB levels in cranofacial group were independent influencing factors for the occurrence of PHN(P<0.05),and had predictive value for PHN in cranofacial herpes zoster(P<0.05).Conclusion Reactivation of cranofacial herpes zoster virus, acute nerve injury and PHN may all be related to the low antioxidant status of the body, and the antioxidant biomarkers UA,TBIL and ALB may be protective factors for herpes zoster, but more studies are needed to clarify the un-derlying mechanisms.
