Objective To analyze the effect of periodic physical examination on improvement of health behaviors of elderly people. Methods 186 elderly people from June 2010 to June 2011 were chosen.The observation group (93 people) was taken with regular health checkup every six months.The control group (93 people) did not receive regular health checkup.The health promoting lifestyle scale (HPLP) and the knowledge and compliance behavior questionnaire of residents were adopted for investigation and analysis. Results The total score for health behaviors in the observation group was significantly higher than the control group.The score of six indicators of HPLP,including self-actualization,health resporsibility,physical activity,nutrition,pressure regulator and interpersonal relationship were higher than the control group,the differences between the two groups were significant.The average score for health knowledge of the residents for the observation group was (44.52 ± 2.30) points,and the compliance behavior score was (41.21 ± 2.80) points.The scores were siguificantly higher than the control group,the difference was significant.Conclusions The periodic health examination for elderly people has a positive effect in improving their health behavior.

Objective To investigate the effect of reinforced Decoction of Angelicae Sinensis for enriching blood (RDAEB) on the immunity of immunosuppressed mice induced by cyclophosphamide (Cy). Methods Mice were given RDAEB through stomach perfusion for 10 d(50 mg/d). Then, RBC-C3bR rate,RBC-IC rate( as the indexes of erythrocyte immunity)and E-rosette forming rate,acidic α-naphthyl acetate esterase positive rate, lymphocyte transformation rate (as the indexes of cellular immunity) of mice were tested.Results RBC-C3Br rate, RBC-IC rate,E-rosette forming rate, acidic α-naphthyl acetate esterase positive rate and lymphocyte transformation rate in the Cy-RDAEB group were markedly higher than those in the Cy group (P＜0. 01 ),and returned to the levels of normal group. Conclusion RDAEB is effective in recovering and enhancing cellular and erythrocyte immunity of immunosuppressed mice.

Objective To compare the different doses of low-temperature plasma (LTP) on wound healing in BALB/c mice so as to discuss the effects of the optimal dose of low-temperature plasma dealing with wound in mice and the acting mechanism of wound healing.Methods Adoptatmospheric pressure plasma jet discharged by the dielectric barrier was used to treat mouse skin wound.According to the processing time, the wounds were divided into 10s, 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s experimental groups, while naturally healing wounds served as negative controls and the wounds dealt with recombinant human epidermal growth factor served as positive controls.We recorded the wound size every day, observed the histopathological changes, the expression level of type Ⅰ collagen by immunofluorescence, and analyzed the composition of low-temperature plasma jet.Results The wounds with plasma treatment time of 10s, 20s, 30s, and 40s showed significant daily improvement and almost complete closure at days 12, 10, 7, 13, respectively.However, the wounds with plasma treatment time of 50s remained unhealed atday 14.The wounds in positive control group all healed, and the wound healing effect in positive control group could be achieved in 30s group.HE staining and immunofluorescence staining assays showed the optimal result of epidermal cell regeneration, granulation tissue hyperplasia, and collagen deposition in histological aspect at day 7 in 30 s group.The low-temperature plasma jet contained highly reactive free radicals of nitrogen and oxygen, which play an important role in wound healing process.Conclusion Appropriate doses of cold plasma can accelerate wound healing whereas over-doses of plasma can suppress wound healing.The process of wound healing may be related to reactive oxygen and nitrogen species in LTP.

Objective: To understand the prevalence and its influencing factors of metabolic syndrome (MS) among employees in petrochemical enterprises, so as to provide insights into the prevention and control of MS among employees in petrochemical enterprises. Methods: The employees in petrochemical enterprises who underwent health examinations at the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Gansu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine from May 2021 to December 2022 were selected as the survey subjects. Demographic information, lifestyle behaviors and occupational exposure were collected using questionnaires, and the blood biochemical indicators were measured through laboratory testing. Factors affecting MS were identified using a multivariable logistic regression model. Results: A total of 2 479 individuals were included, with a mean age of (44.84±7.87) years. There were 1 684 males (67.93%) and 795 females (32.07%). There were 905 cases of MS, with a detection rate of 36.51%. Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that gender (male, OR=2.246, 95%CI: 1.353-3.728), age (≥40 years, OR=3.523, 95%CI: 2.003-6.194), noise exposure (OR=1.894, 95%CI: 1.272-2.821), smoking index (>0~200 cigarette-years, OR=1.907, 95%CI: 1.155-3.149; >200 cigarette-years, OR=2.257, 95%CI: 1.320-3.859), hyperuricemia (OR=3.013, 95%CI: 1.852-4.900) and γ-glutamyltransferase (abnormal, OR=2.691, 95%CI: 1.589-4.559) were the influencing factors of MS among employees in petrochemical enterprises. Conclusion The risk of MS occurrence among employees in petrochemical enterprises is related to gender, age, noise exposure, smoking index, hyperuricemia and γ-glutamyltransferase level.

Objective:To screen the factors that were conducive to prolonging the effective half-life of 131I, and to provide a basis for selecting more suitable patients for the treatment of hyperthyroidism with lithium carbonate assisted radioactive 131I. Methods:Between July 2017 and March 2019, a total of 61 patients (23 males, 38 females, age: 13-73 (37.7±1.9) years) who received lithium carbonate adjuvant therapy before 131I treatment in the First Affiliated Hospital of Zhengzhou University were collected into this prospective study. Clinical parameters (serum free triiodothyronine (FT 3), serum free thyroxine (FT 4), iodine uptake rate (2 h, 12 h, 24 h) and ratio of iodine uptake rate (2 h/24 h, 4 h/24 h) before and after taking lithium carbonate were compared by using paired t test. The factors which were conducive to prolonging the effective half-life of 131I were analyzed by linear and multiple regression analyses. Results:Compared with the pretreatment results, lithium carbonate treatment significantly improved the 24 h iodine uptake rate ((74.82±2.69)% vs (82.38±2.33)%; t=2.674, P=0.010), decreased the ratio of 4 h/24 h iodine uptake rate ((88.96±2.85)% vs (82.12±2.27)%; t=2.644, P=0.010), prolonged the effective half-life of 131I ((123.03±3.09) vs (130.38±2.49) h; t=2.656, P=0.010), and decreased serum FT 3 ((26.46±1.65) vs (21.31±1.42) pmol/L; t=3.421, P=0.001) and serum FT 4 ((56.59±2.12) vs (49.24±2.19) pmol/L; t=3.289, P=0.002). Linear regression analysis showed that 2 h and 4 h iodine uptake rate, the ratios of 2 h/24 h and 4 h/24 h iodine uptake rate, and effective half-life of 131I before lithium carbonate treatment were related to the effective half-life of 131I after lithium carbonate treatment ( b values: from -0.576 to 0.642, all P<0.05). Multiple linear regression analysis showed that the ratio of 4 h/24 h iodine uptake rate was the main factor affecting the effective half-life of 131I after taking lithium carbonate ( b=0.642, 95% CI: 0.453-0.832, P<0.001). Multiple linear regression equation was y=-49.785+ 0.642 x. Lithium carbonate treatment could prolong the effective half-life of 131I if the ratio of 4 h/24 h iodine uptake exceeded 77.55%. Conclusion:The ratio of 4 h/24 h iodine uptake rate is the main factor affecting the change of the effective half-life of 131I after lithium carbonate treatment, and patients with hyperthyroidism whose ratio of 4 h/24 h iodine uptake rate exceeds 77.55% can effectively prolong the effective half-life of 131I after taking lithium carbonate.

Objective To explore the location value of preoperative SPECT/CT fusion imaging in ectopic gastric mucosa lesions.Methods Twenty-five children with ectopic gastric mucosa were examined with SPECT/CT.Patients who had fixed abnormal uptake lesions in abdomen within 20 min of the dynamic planar imaging underwent SPECT/CT and image fusion at the end of 20 min.The localization results of lesions by SPECT/CT fusion imaging were compared with intraoperative findings.Results Twenty-five patients with positive planar imaging underwent tomography fusion imaging,and then positive findings were noticed in 17 patients,among them 14 patients' intraoperative findings had high consistency with location of lesions of tomography fusion imaging (Kappa =0.746,P ＜ 0.05).Conclusion SPECT/CT fusion imaging can locate ectopic gastric mucosa lesions accurately and has high application value.

This study was aimed to observe the therapeutic effect of qi-supplementing,blood-activating and phlegmresolving on chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) patients with blood stasis syndrome in the acute stage,and to evaluate the lung function improvement condition.Observation was also made on plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer,in order to provide references for traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) clinical treatment of COPD.A total of 174 acute COPD patients with blood stasis syndrome were selected from October 2015 to July 2017 in the Linqu County People's Hospital of Shandong Province.Patients were randomly divided into the control group and the study group.Conventional western medicine treatment was given to the control group.On the basis of routine western medicine treatment,the study group was treated with TCM qi-supplementing,blood-activating and phlegm-resolving method.The clinical efficacy,changes of lung function,plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer before and after treatment were observed in both groups.The results showed that the total efficacy of the study group was 95.4％,and the total efficacy of the control group was 79.3％.The difference was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).Pearson correlation study showed that plasma fibrinogen (r =-0.79,P ＜ 0.05) and D-dimer (r =-0.84,P ＜ 0.05) were negatively correlated with PaO2.Before treatment,there was no significant difference in lung function,plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer between two groups (P ＞ 0.05).After treatment,indicators of both groups were significantly improved,in which the improvement of the study group was more obvious.The difference between two groups was statistically significant (P ＜ 0.05).It was concluded that the expression levels of plasma fibrinogen and D-dimer were closely related to COPD.Qi-supplementing,blood-activating and phlegmresolving method can improve clinical symptoms,blood stasis status and lung function of COPD patients in the acute stage with remarkable curative effect.

Objective To explore the prognostic value of pretreatment 18F-fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) PET/CT in pediatric neuroblastoma (NB).Methods Twenty-seven NB patients (18 males,9 females;average age (4.6±2.4) years) confirmed by pathology from June 2012 to November 2015 were retrospectively included.All patients had detailed clinical and follow up data.They underwent 18F-FDG PET/CT scan before any treatment,and the largest diameter of primary tumors,maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax) of primary tumor (Tmax),SUVmax of liver (Lmax),Tmax/Lmax ratio,clinical staging,serum ferritin,serum lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) and serum neuron-specific enolase (NSE) were recorded as prognostic factors.Patients were followed up after treatment for 3-32 months (median:24 months).KaplanMeier survival analysis was used to analyze the influence of Tmax and Tmax/Lmax ratio on 2-year progression free survival (PFS).Cox regression analysis was used to comprehensive analyze the influence of various factors on PFS.Results Of the 27 patients,12(44.4％) experienced disease progression during the follow-up period.Univariate analysis showed that N-myc gene amplification,serum LDH,serum NSE,serum ferritin,the largest diameter of primary tumors,Tmax and Tmax/Lmax ratio were significant prognostic factors for 2-year PFS.The multivariate analysis showed that only the Tmax and Tmax/Lmax,ratio were independent prognostic factors for 2-year PFS.Conclusion 18F-FDG PET/CT can provide effective information on the prognostic information for pediatric NB patients.
