Objective To investigate cancer patients′nutritional status after operative treatment and analysis of risk factors for malnutrition, which provides the basis for maintaining patients′ nutrition support after discharge. Methods One hundred and thirty patients treated with tumor in Liuan Hospital affiliated to Anhui Medical University were investigated. The nutritional status of patients discharged from hospital was evaluated by subjective comprehensive assessment, and the risk factors of malnutrition when they were discharged from hospital were analyzed. Results In 130 patients, 76 patients (58.46%) were assessed as no or mild malnutrition, and 54 patients (41.54%) as moderate or severe malnutrition. Univariate analysis showed that body mass index < 18.5 kg/m2 at admission, nutritional risk screening 2002(NRS2002) ≥ 3 scores, smoking and drinking were related to the occurrence of malnutrition after tumor surgery (P<0.05). Logistic regression analysis showed that NRS2002≥3 scores at admission and smoking were independent risk factors for malnutrition at discharge (P < 0.05). Conclusions The incidence of malnutrition in patients after tumor surgery is high, and there are many risk factors. Therefore, early nutrition support should be provided to patients, and family nutrition intervention after discharge is also very necessary.

Objective:
To investigate the incidence rate of nutritional risk and malnutrition in patients with acute cerebral infarction, and analyze the influence factors of nutritional risk and malnutrition, so as to provide evidence for targeted nutritional intervention.
Methods:
Nutritional risk screening 2002 (NRS2002), subjective global assessment (SGA) and body mass index (BMI) were applied to screen nutritional risk and assess nutritional state for hospitalized patients with acute cerebral infarction from January to October 2017, and to investigate the incidence rate of nutritional risk and malnutrition. Univariate analysis was used to analyze the relationship of nutritional risk and malnutrition with the basic information and habits of patients. Logistic regression was used to analyze the independent risk factors.
Results:
The incidence rate of the nutritional risk (NRS2002 ≥ 3 scores) was 61.0% (122/200) in 200 cases of acute cerebral infarction patients. If BMI<18.5 kg/m2 was used to evaluate the nutritional deficiencies, the incidence rate of undernutrition was 8.5% (17/200). The incidence rate of malnutrition was 25.5% (51/200) using the SGA evaluation method. The univariate analysis showed that the nutritional risk was associated with age, drinking, combined infection, fluid diet, dysphagia/cough, and BMI (<18.5 kg/m2)(

OBJECTIVE:
To analyze the application of three-dimensional power Doppler sonography (3-DPDS) in evaluation of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) and superior mesenteric vein (SMV) in second-trimester fetus.
METHODS:
Three-dimensional volume probe was used to collect the 3-DPDS blood flow images in 50 normal fetuses of 22-24 weeks and 50 fetuses of 30-32 weeks, respectively. The characteristics of three-dimensional ultrasound were analyzed. The clinical and imaging data of 4 fetuses of 26-32 weeks with midgut volvulus were analyzed retrospectively.
RESULTS:
The display rates of SMA and SMV were 93%in normal group by 3-DPDS and those in volvulus group were 4/4 and 3/4, respectively. The SMV trunk was parallel to and on the right side of the SMA in the normal group, while 3 cases in volvulus group showed the characteristic relationship of SMV swirling around SMA.
CONCLUSIONS
3-DPDS can be used to observe the spatial relationship of SMA and SMV visually in fetus during the second trimester and is of value to diagnose and predict the outcome of midgut volvulus.

OBJECTIVE: To investigate the differentially expressed microRNAs(miRNAs) in human embryonic lung fibroblast MRC-5 cells stimulated by transforming growth factor-β1(TGF-β1) using microarray chip, and screen for key genes and signaling pathways of fibroblast trans-differentiation. METHODS: The miRNA expression gene chip dataset GSE43992 on TGF-β1 stimulated MRC-5 cells were downloaded from high-throughput Gene Expression Omnibus(GEO) database of National Center for Biotechnology Information of the United States. The R language Limma package was used to screen the differentially expressed miRNAs. Corresponding target genes were predicted by miRWalk database performed by Gene Ontology(GO) functional enrichment analysis and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG) signaling pathway enrichment analysis. The protein-protein interaction(PPI) network was constructed by the search tool for the Retrieval of Interacting Genes database. RESULTS: A total of five differentially expressed miRNAs were identified, including four up-regulated miRNAs and one down-regulated miRNA; and 42 corresponding differentially expressed target genes were predicted. GO analysis indicated that the target genes were significantly enriched in collagen catabolic process, extracellular matrix organization, membrane organization, collagen fibril organization, and cellular response to amino acid stimulus. The results of KEGG pathway analysis showed that the signaling pathways corresponding to miRNAs and target genes were mainly concentrated in 18 signaling pathways, that were mainly related to the age-ethnic signaling pathways and protein digestion and absorption miRNAs in tumors and diabetic complications. The core genes transfected into the myofibroblasts by the three fibroblasts screened by the PPI network were threonine kinase 1, estrogen receptor 1 and β-catenin. CONCLUSION: Five differentially expressed miRNAs, 42 target genes, 18 signaling pathways, and 3 core genes related to TGF-β1-induced MRC-5 cell trans-differentiation were screened. It can provide new reference for the treatment and research of many diseases including pneumoconiosis and pulmonary fibrosis.

OBJECTIVE:To study the improve ment effect of salvianolate on renal interstitial fibrosis (RIF)model rats and its possible mechanism. METHODS :Totally 50 male SD rats were randomly divided into normal group ,model group ,losartan group (positive control group ,9 mg/kg)and salvianolate low-dose and high-dose groups (18,36 mg/kg)according to body weight ,with 10 rats in each group. Except for normal group ,other groups were given adenine 250 mg/kg intragastrically to establish RIF model. After modeling ,administration groups were given relevant medicine intragastrically ,and normal group and model group were given constant volume of normal saline intragastrically ,the volume was 10 mL/kg,once a day ,for consecutive 30 days. After last medication, the serum levels of creatinine (Scr),urea nitrogen (BUN)and 24 h proteinuria (24 h UPro )were detected by ELISA. HE staining and Masson staining were used to observe the histopathological characteristics and fibrosis of the kidney. The degree of renal tubular injury and glomerulosclerosis were scored ,and the percentage of positive staining area of renal tissue was calculated ; immunohistochemistry and Western blot assay were used to determine the protein expression of Wnt 5a,Wnt5b,and β-catenin. RESULTS:Compared with normal group ,Scr,BUN and 24 h UPro levels ,renal tubular injury score , glomerulosclerosis score , the percentage of positive staining area in renal tissue ,the protein expression of Wnt 5a and β-catenin were increased significantly in model group (P<0.05),while the expression of Wnt 5b protein was decreased significantly (P<0.05). Pathological changes such as mesangial hyperplasia ,fibrous tissue increase and inflammatory cell infiltration were observed under microscope. Compared with model group ,above indexes of rats were improved significantly in losartan group ,salvianolate low-dose and high-dose groups (P< 0.05),and the effect of salvianolate had dose-dependent trend. CONCLUSIONS :Salvianolate has the improvement effect on RIF model rats induced by adenine ,and its mechanism may be related to inhibition of Wnt/ β-catenin signal pathway.

In order to prepare antioxidant peptide through hydrolyzing low-value protein resources with bacterial extracellular proteases and to discover novel proteases, crude extracellular protease from Pseudoalteromonas sp. SHK1-2 was obtained through fermentation which was used to hydrolyze collagen extracted from Cirrhinus molitorella skin. Small peptide fraction was isolated from hydrolysate by ultrafiltration and Sephadex LH-20 size exclusion chromatography and showed 1, 1-diphenyl-2-picrylhydrazyl radical scavenging activity (35.6%±7%), oxygen radical absorbance capacity and inhibition of DNA oxidation damage. The molecule weight was 776.2 Da, and amino acid sequence was Thr-Ala-Gly-His-Pro- Gly-Thr-His through liquid chromatography mass spectrum. Our findings suggest that peptide obtained from low-value protein of fish waste by hydrolysis with bacterial protease has antioxidant activity.
