1.Statistical analysis and comparative study on papers cited by SCI in well-known Chinese and foreign medical universities

The quantity and quality of the papers cited by SCI are key standards that measure the level of basic research,academic status and teaching quality of a university.In this paper,we studied on the papers cited by SCI by statistical analysis and comparative methods in 30 well-known Chinese and foreign medical universities from 2001 to 2005.The research result showed that there is some disparity in the scale and condition of the scientific research and the technical level among Chinese medical universities and foreign medical universities.Meanwhile,it Was suggested that how to improve the quantity and quality of the papers cited by SCI in Chinese medical universities.
2.Impacts of the lump-sum prepayment practice of medical insurance and the countermeasures

The paper analyzed the impact of the trial for "lump-sum prepayment practice of medical insurance" on tertiary hospitals in Shanghai initiated by Shanghai Medical Insurance Bureau since 2009. Based on the analysis, the authors recommended that the hospitals should adapt to the changes by raising quality of care, improving cost accounting, informationizing and refining medical insurance information management, as well as controlling expenses on a rational basis. These approaches will help them adapt to and promote the ongoing health reform in China.
3.Changes of galanin level in different brain areas and effects of fluoxetine hydrochloride on it in depressed rats

Objective:To elucidate the possible role of galanin in the development of experimental depression in rats. Methods:Openfield was performed to test the behavior of rats. The changes of the galanin level in different brain areas were determined by RIA. The effect of fluoxetine hydrochloride on galanin level were observed by intraperitoneal injection. Results:Compared to control group, the crossing times and rearing times decreased significantly in depressed rats, galanin level decreased remarkably in plasma, hypothalamus, hippocampus, forebrain, parietal lobe and temporal cortex of depressed rats. Intraperitoneal injection of fluoxetine hydrochloride obviously improved the depressed behavior in rats, increased the galanin level in the hippocampus and forebrain of depressed rats. Conclusion:Hippocampus and forebrain may be involved in the development of experimental depression and in the antidepressive effects of fluoxetine hydrochloride.
4.3D finite element analysis of bone stress around distally osseointegrated implant for artificial limb attachment.

Using the CT data, we have constructed the finite element models of human femur distally amputated at high-position, middle-position and low-position, along with distally osseointegrated implant under the maximal load during a normal walking cycle. Results of finite element analysis revealed: the maximal stress of implant is produced near the exit of the amputated limb, where the fatigue breakpoint caused by cyclic stress would take place. With the ascending of truncated position, the peri-implant interfacial stress of bone increases. There is severe stress-shielding at the bone-implant interface, and there is concentration of stress at the end of implant and at the 3/4 point of femur, which would lead to bone loss and bone resorption and would shorten the longevity of implant. The results also showed that the curvature of natural bone has notable effect on the stress distribution, which should not be neglected. These data may provide reliable reference for the design and research of osseointegarted artificial limb.

5.Guangxi cobra venom-derived NGF promotes the osteogenic and therapeutic effects of porous BCP ceramic.

Neuro-osteological interactions have an important role in the regulation of bone metabolism and regeneration. Neuropeptides combined with porous biphasic calcium phosphates (BCP) using protein adsorption may contribute to the acceleration of bone formation. In the present study, we investigated the effect of BCP combined with nerve growth factor (NGF) on the growth of osteoblasts in vitro and the combinational therapeutic effect on the repair of calvarial defects in vivo. NGF was separated and purified from Chinese cobra venom using a simplified three-step chromatography method. BCP combined with NGF exerted a potent effect on osteoblast differentiation, as evidenced by enhanced cell proliferation, increased ALP activity and the up-regulated expression of osteogenesis-related genes and proteins. Further, combinational therapy with BCP and NGF improved calvarial regeneration, which was superior to treatment with therapy alone, as observed using imageological and morphological examination and histological and immunohistochemical staining. The results confirmed the effect of neuro-osteological interactions through combinatorial treatment with NGF and BCP to promote osteogenesis and bone formation, which may provide an effective and economical strategy for clinical application.

6.Current situation and management practice of qualified person system for stem cell clinical research in medical institutions

Objective:To analyze and study the difficulties and countermeasures in the implementation of the Qualified Person(QP) system for stem cell clinical research, and share the experience of QP management practice in our hospital in order to promote and improve the construction of the QP management system in medical institutions.Methods:Comprehensive investigations were conducted to summarize and analyze the shortage of talents, unclear qualifications, unclear responsibilities, and lack of assessment standards in the QP system of medical institutions.Results:In view of the difficulties in the implementation of the current QP system, it is suggested to consider a combination of improving the system of laws and regulations, strengthening the top-level design of stem cell research institutions, clarifying the qualification threshold, refining QP responsibilities, continuing training and assessment system, establishing QP support system, etc.Conclusions:Medical institutions are responsible for stem cell clinical research, and the improvement of the QP system can promote the development of the cell industry in China.
7.Management practice of the entire process of stem cells clinical research in medical institutions

Objective:The study aims to analyze the problems faced in the clinical research and management of stem cells, explore the construction of the entire process of stem cells clinical research, and promote the healthy and orderly development of the clinical research of stem cells.Methods:By consulting the literature and retrieval of relevant policies and regulations, this study analyzed the problems faced by the supervision and management department, medical institutions and researchers, this study and discussed the countermeasures for strengthening the management of the entire process of clinical research of stem cells in medical institutions.Results:There were imperfect internal system and poor management process, insufficient quality control of cell products, low quality of project management, and insufficient clinical research consciousness of stem cell clinical research management in medical institutions.Conclusions:Combined with the current management measures, guidance principles and medical institutions, we should improve the internal system of medical institutions, promote the centralized management and informatization construction of projects, strengthen cell quality control in the hospital, cultivate talent echelons and improve academic and ethical review capabilities, actively explore the management model that is suitable for the entire process of stem cell clinical research for medical institutions in China.
8. Analysis of comprehensive intervention effect of post-traumatic stress disorder in patients with acute hand injury

Objective:
To analyze the comprehensive intervention effect of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in patients with acute hand injury, and its correlation with hand function recovery.
Methods:
A total of 120 patients with hand trauma admitted to Wenzhou Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from April 2016 to April 2018 were selected.The patients were randomly divided into observation group (60 cases) and control group (60 cases) according to the digital table.The observation group received routine treatment and comprehensive intervention.The control group was given routine treatment.The PDST scale (CAPS), depression self-rating scale (SDS) and Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) rating scale used by clinicians were used to assess the psychological status, depression and anxiety of patients with PTSD, and to evaluate the upper limb function of patients.
Results:
After intervention, the scores of CAPS, SDS and HAMA in the control group were (24.51±8.43)points, (50.61±7.59)points and (10.63±2.11)points, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in the observation group[(16.53±7.62)points, (40.26±4.18)points, (8.24±1.86)points](

To promote the development of extracellular vesicles of herbal medicine especially the establishment of standardization, led by the National Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, research experts in the field of herbal medicine and extracellular vesicles were invited nationwide with the support of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, Professional Committee on Extracellular Vesicle Research and Application, Chinese Society of Research Hospitals and the Guangdong Engineering Research Center of Chinese Herbal Vesicles. Based on the collation of relevant literature, we have adopted the Delphi method, the consensus meeting method combined with the nominal group method to form a discussion draft of "Consensus statement on research and application of Chinese herbal medicine derived extracellular vesicles-like particles (2023)". The first draft was discussed in online and offline meetings on October 12, 14, November 2, 2022 and April and May 2023 on the current status of research, nomenclature, isolation methods, quality standards and research applications of extracellular vesicles of Chinese herbal medicines, and 13 consensus opinions were finally formed. At the Third Academic Conference on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles, held on May 26, 2023, Kewei Zhao, convenor of the consensus, presented and read the consensus to the experts of the Expert Committee on Research and Application of Chinese Herbal Vesicles. The consensus highlights the characteristics and advantages of Chinese medicine, inherits the essence, and keeps the righteousness and innovation, aiming to provide a reference for colleagues engaged in research and application of Chinese herbal vesicles at home and abroad, decode the mystery behind Chinese herbal vesicles together, establish a safe, effective and controllable accurate Chinese herbal vesicle prevention and treatment system, and build a bridge for Chinese medicine to the world.
