Objective To analyze the difference among antigens of Angiostrongylus cantonensis in different developmental stages and identify dominant diagnostic antigen for angiostrongyliasis. Methods Antigens of A.cantonensis in different developmental stages were analyzed by SDS-PAGE and immunoblot. Results The protein bands of all developmental stages were similar on SDS-PAGE. The Mr 40 000 , 50 000 , 66 000 and 80 000 antigens reacted not only with the sera of rats infected by A.cantonensis but also with the sera of normal rats. The Mr 104 000 antigen could be discerned by sera of rats infected with A.cantonensis for 2 weeks. The Mr 32 000 antigen could be recognized by sera of rats 2 weeks after infection, and the reaction became stronger with the infection continued. Conclusion The Mr 40 000 , 50 000 , 66 000 and 80 000 antigens might result in the unspecific reaction in the immunodiagnosis of angiostrongyliasis using the crude antigen of A.cantonensis. The Mr 104 000 of larva, Mr 33 000 of adult females and Mr 32 000 of the worms might be used as candidate antigens in early diagnosis and epidemiological survey of angiostrongyliasis.

Journal of Preventive Medicine 2023;35(6):480-484
Objective:
To investigate the impact of physical self-efficacy on physical activity and physical health among university students, so as to provide insights into formulation of the strategy to improve physical activity and physical health among university students.
Methods:
Freshmen and sophomores were sampled from a university in Guangzhou City using a convenience sampling method from December 2021 to April 2022. Students' demographics and types of sport exercises were collected using questionnaire surveys. Physical self-efficacy was tested using the Physical Self-efficacy Scale, and physical activity was measured using the International Physical Activity Questionnaire-Short, while physical health was evaluated using the school physical health standard test. The associations of physical self-efficacy with physical activity and physical health were examined using a multivariable logistic regression model.
Results:
Totally 4 171 questionnaires were allocated, and 3 811 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a effective recovery rate of 91.37%. The respondents included 1 582 males (41.51%) and 2 229 females (58.49%), and included 1 967 freshmen (51.61%) and 1 844 sophomores (48.39%). The median score of physical self-efficacy was 36 (interquartile range, 7) points, and there were 1 777 students reaching the national standard of physical activity (46.63%) and 1 112 students with excellent and good physical health (29.18%). Multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that physical self-efficacy was a promoting factor for the proportion of reaching the national standard of physical activity (OR=1.054, 95%CI: 1.043-1.064) and excellent and good physical health (OR=1.109, 95%CI: 1.096-1.122) after adjustment for gender, grade, specialty and source of students.
Conclusion
The improvement of physical self-efficacy may increase the proportion of reaching the national standard of physical activity and excellent and good physical health among university students.

Chinese Journal of Medical Education Research 2021;20(11):1339-1343
Objective:To compile the questionnaire of science and technology education in colleges and universities, conduct a questionnaire survey on the case universities, and summarize the current situation of science and technology education in case colleges and universities. Methods:The convenience sampling method was used to investigate the teachers and undergraduates of a medical university in Guangzhou. Descriptive analysis, one-way ANOVA and multiple comparison analysis were used to analyze the collected data. The reliability and validity of the data were tested by SPSS 20.00.Results:The score of teachers' concept identity [(4.23 ± 0.63) points] was the highest, and the differences in teaching practice dimension among teachers at different ages, with different works, item numbers and course numbers were statistically significant ( P<0.05); the score of students' scientific research demand [(3.65 ± 0.59) points] was the highest, and the scores of environmental support dimension of students in different grades with different credit points were statistically significant ( P<0.01). Conclusion:There are some problems in science and technology education among schools, teachers and students. We try to make improvements from three aspects: building a collaborative platform for science and education, strengthening institutional support and perfecting the evaluation system.
