Objective:To optimize the formula of Junduqing dispersible tablets .Methods:Using appearance , disintegration time and dispersing uniformity as the indices ,the types of filler, disintegrating agent and adhesive were optimized by single factor tests;the amount of filler and disintegrating agent was optimized by orthogonal experiments with the disintegration time as the index ; using ap-pearance and sticking as the indices , the single factor tests were also used to optimize the lubricant , and the adding method of disinte-grating agent was optimized using disintegration time as the index .Results: For 500 tablets, the amount of Junduqing extract was 61.25 g, microcrystalline cellulose (52.5 g) and dextrin (17.5 g) were used as the fillers, crospolyvinylpyrrolidone (8.75 g) and croscarmellose sodium (26.25 g) were applied as the disintegrating agents , 70% ethanol was the binder , magnesiumstearate (3 g) and talcum powder (2.25 g) were used as the lubricants , and stevioside (3.5 g) was the flavoring agent .Conclusion:The formula is reasonable and feasible ,which provides reference for the preparation of Junduqing dispersible tablets .

BACKGROUND:Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS),an acute infection with a mutant coronavirus,is characterized by acute pulmonary inflammatory injury accompanied by possible multiple organ injuries. Besides somatic symptoms,affective disorder constitutes an obvious neuropsychiatric symptom in SARS patients.OBJECTIVE:To analyze the clinical features of SARS with neuropsychiatric involvement.DESIGN:A retrospective case analysis.SETTING:Department of Neurology,Department of Respiratory Diseases and Department of Radiology of Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University.PARTICIPANTS:Totally 325 SARS patients treated in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and the 8th People's Hospital of Guangzhou from February 2003 to May 2003 were involved,including 173cases who developed neuropsychiatric symptoms.METHODS:The clinical data of 325 of SARS including 173 cases with neuropsychiatric symptoms were retrospectively analyzed.MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Clinical neuropsychiatric symptoms,ophthalmoscopic examination,and pathological findings in autopsy.RESULTS: ①The incidence of neuropsychiatric involvement was about 53.2% in SARS patients. The manifestations consisted mostly of headache (67.1%),dizziness(28.9%),conscious-ness disturbance(10.4%),mental disorder(4.6%), local orientational disorder(0.6%),seizures(1.2%),and affective disorders (30.6%);anxiety occurred in 20.2%,depression in 6.4%,suicidal tendency in 1.2%,and phobia in 7.5% of the patients with neuropsychiatric involvement. ②Among the 325 patients,56 were in critical condition of whom 47 had accompanying neuropsychiatric impairment,with significantly greater incidence than that in mild cases (P＜0.01). ③Ophthalmoscopic examination performed in 4 patients showed blurred margin of the optic disc with retinal venous congestion. ④Autopsy in 2 cases identified edema of the perivascular tissue and vascular wall of the small veins with mononuclear cell and lymphocyte infiltration,neuron degeneration and demyelination in focal brain tissues.CONCLUSION:The manifestations of neuropsychiatric involement can vary in association with the severity of SARS,and the typical pathological changes include edema,neuronal demyelination etc.in the brain.

Objective To explore the impact of recombinant human hepatocyte growth factor (rhHGF) in Celsior (CS) solution on the expression of INF-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 in a rat liver transplan-tation model. Methods After flushed with CS solution with addition of rhHGF (experimental group) or saline (control group), NHBD livers were stored at 4℃; for 16 h.then they were transplanted using the two-cuff technique with arterial reconstruction. The serum levels of INF-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 at lh after reperfusion were detected using ELISA. The INF-γ, IL-4 and IL-10 mRNA in the corresponding liver tissue were determined by RT-PCR. The 7-day survival rate was calculated and the histopatho-logical examination results were analyzed by hematoxylin and eosin staining. Results Compared with the control group, the experimental group showed lower INF-γ level and higher IL-4 and IL-10 levels in serum at 1 h after reperfusion (P<0. 05). The level of INF-γ mRNA in liver tissue was significant decreased at 1 h after reperfusion (P<0. 05) , and the level of IL-4 and IL-10 mRNA was significantly increased in the experimental group (P<0. 05). In experimental group, recipients got a better survival rate and histopathological examination showed a well-preserved hepatic architecture without hepatocyte necrosis, milder sinusoidal and portal congestion. Conclusion Adding exogenous rhHGF in CS solu-tion can protect NHBD livers from ischemia-reperfusion injury and prolong the survival in rats, which might be due to down-regulation of TNF-γ and up-regulation of IL-4 and IL-10.

ObjectiveTo investigate an improved technique of orthotopic liver transplantation with the ("two-cuff method") in rats, and to observe allograft rejection after transplantation. Methods30 Wistar rats were grafted with livers of SD rats and 30 SD rats were grafted with livers of SD rats by using a modified "two-cuff technique" and examined for postoperative rejection. ResultsThe anhepatic period was about 15 minutes. The 24-hour survival rate was 100%. The Wistar rats grafted with SD livers died 8 to 15 days (after) liver transplantation, and the histopathologic examination showed various degrees of allograft rejection. The SD rats grafted with livers of SD rats had a survival rate of 97% at 3 weeks postoperatively. ConclusionsThe modified "two-cuff technique" can effectively reduce operative time, decrease postoperative (complications) and increase the survival rate of othortopic liver transplantation in rats. The transplantation model of Wistar rats grafted with livers of SD rats can be used to study allograft rejection.

Objective:To assess whether familial occurrence has an influence on the morphological characteristics of patients with nonsyndromic cleft lip and/or palate (NsCL/P).Methods:A case-control analysis was performed on the morphological characteristics of familial group and sporadic group,using medical records of 1967 patients with NsCL/P treated in the Affiliated Stomatological Hospital of Nanchang University from 2002 to 2014.Results:164 (8.34％) cases presented a positive history of cleft in their families.The cleft types,the positive familial rate of cleft lip only (CLO),cleft lip and alveolar ridge(CLA),cleft lip and palate (CLP) and cleft palate only (CPO) were 8.11％,8.54％,6.19％ and 9.65％ respectively.A positive family history of NsCL/P was associated with 0.66 times risk of CPO (P =0.036,OR =0.66,95％ CI 0.44-0.98) compared to those of CLO,CLA and CLP.In familial group of CLP,the lateral incidence of male patients was different from that of female patients (P ＜ 0.001).There was no significant difference between familial group and sporadic group on birth weights,parental child-bearing age and clinical manifestations of patients.Conclusion:Familial occurrence might have an influence on cleft type,laterality and gender of the patients with NSCL/P.

Objective To explore surgical options and clinical outcome of preperitoneal hernia repair (TAPP) and totally ext raperitoneal hernia repair (TEP) in inguinal hernia repair.Methods The clinical data of 302 patients underwent laparoscopic herniorrhaphy were retrospectively analyzed.Results None of patient s was changed to open operation.The TAPP and TEP outcome measures:the unilateral hernia surgery time from (31.2 ± 8.3) min and (55.3 ± 15.2) min,bilateral hernia surgery time was (46.2 ± 11.2)min and (80.2 ± 23.2) min; blood loss was (6.4 ± 2.0) ml and (7.2 ± 1.6) ml,bed activity for the first was (16.0 ± 1.8) h and (16.0 ± 1.5) h,hospital stay was (3.0 ±0.6) d and (3.1 ±0.8) d.Conclusions Laparoscope herniorrhaphy is safe due to lower recurrence and complications.It also has the advantages of slight pain and rapid recovery.

ObjectiveTo explore the effect of cluster needling of scalp acupuncture combined with rehabilitation(Tang's Approach) on the spasticity after stroke.Methods39 stroke patients with spasm were divided into observation group and control group. The observation group received anti-spasm acupuncture combined with rehabilitation therapy, while the control group received baclofen combined with rehabilitation therapy. Spasm and activities of daily living(ADL) and therapeutical effect were assessed with the Modified Ashworth Scale and Barthel Index.ResultsThere was no significant difference between the two groups (P＞0.05). ConclusionTang's Approach has the same effect as baclofen to improve the spasm after stroke without serious side-effect.

ObjectiveTo study the effect of head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation techniques on movement function of upper limbs after stroke.Methods80 patients with stroke were divided randomly into four groups, group 1 for head acupuncture and rehabilitation techniques, group 2 for rehabilitation techniques, group 3 for head acupuncture and group 4 for control. Fugl Meyer Assessment(FMA) and Facility Assessment For Function of Upper Limbs were applied to assess movement function before and after treatment.ResultsThe scores of FMA and Facility Assessment For Function of Upper Limbs rised more significantly in group 1,2, and 3 than group 4 (P<0.01) and group 1 outgo group 2,3 yet(P<0.05).Conclusions Head acupuncture combined with rehabilitation techniques can improve the movement function of upper limbs of the stroke patients.

Objective: To evaluate the effect of high-intensity interval somatosensory training combined with neuromuscular acupoint electrical stimulation on blood glucose and motor function among patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), so as to provide insights into prevention of daily life disability among T2DM patients. Methods: T2DM patients treated in Zhejiang Hospital during the period from January 2019 to October 2021 were enrolled and randomly assigned into four groups. Patients in the K group received Kinect somatosensory interaction technology-assisted high-intensity interval training, patients in the N group received neuromuscular acupoint electrical stimulation, and patients in the KN group received high-intensity interval somatosensory training combined with neuromuscular acupoint electrical stimulation, while patients in the C group were given no interventions. The 2 h postprandial plasma glucose and glycated haemoglobin (HbA1c) levels were measured prior to interventions and 4 and 12 weeks post-interventions, and seven physical fitness tests were performed. The blood glucose levels and motor activity were compared among four groups using generalized estimating equations to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions. Results: Totally 199 T2DM patients were enrolled, including 51 patients in the KN group, 49 patients in the K group, 52 patients in the N group and 47 patients in the C group. There were no significant differences in gender, age, course of disease, duration of daily exercises, waist-to-hip ratio, vital capacity or maximal oxygen uptake among the four groups prior to interventions (all P>0.05). There were time-group interaction effects in blood glucose and exercise parameters among the four groups post-interventions (all P>0.05), with the largest changes seen in the KN group. The HbA1c, 2 h postprandial plasma glucose, 2.4 m standing and detour test and back scratch test results reduced by 17.06%, 27.01%, 36.52% and 20.94% 12 weeks post-interventions as compared to those prior to interventions, while 2 min stepping test, 30 s sit-ups, 30 s loading and elbow flexion test, 6 min walking test and sit and reach test results increased by 18.85%, 34.69%, 15.41%, 7.22% and 112.37%, respectively. Conclusion High-intensity interval somatosensory training combined with neuromuscular acupoint electrical stimulation may improve the blood glucose and motor activity among patients with T2DM.

Objective To establish neoplasm transplantation models of breast cancer cells in BALB /c nude mice and to isolate tumor infiltrating myeloid cells.Methods pHAGE-EF-ZsG-DEST plasmid,pMD2.G plasmid and psPAX2 were transfected into BT474 using the method of calcium phosphate transfection .The positive cells were selected by flow cytometry and implanted in the fat pad of nude mice .A tumor model of breast cancer cells implanted in nude mice was constructed, and the tumor infiltrating myeloid cells were isolated .Conclusion Tumor infiltrating myeloid cells are successfully isolated, which will contribute to the study of the functions of tumor infiltrating myeloid cells .
