Journal of Practical Stomatology 2016;32(5):682-687
Objective:To provide imaging evidence for the treatment of anterior disc displacement without reduction by the injection of sodium hyaluronate into temporomandibular joint (TMJ).Methods:40 patients with anterior disc displacement without reduction were injected 3 times with sodium hyaluronate into the TMJ.Patient's TMJ and clinical symptoms were examined 3,9 and 12 months after treatment. The clinical parameters of Fricton's Craniomandibular Index(Fricton index),maximal mouth opening(MMO),pain intensity of a visual analog scale(VAS) and CBCT radiographic data of 48 TMJs from 40 patients were analysed. Results:The CBCT images showed that at 9 and 12 months follow-up the surface of the condylus became smooth, the density of the cortical bone and the adjacent subcortical bone increased and osteophyte in condylar head decreased(P =0.026,P =0.001).As for disc displacement without osteoarthritts,9 months after treatment condylus were moved forward(P =0.038).VAS and Fricton index were reduced(P <0.05),MMO was increased (P < 0.05).3-12 months after treatment, there was no statistical difference of Fricton index (P > 0.05).Conclusion:Injection of sodium hyaluronate into TMJ can remodel the condylar bone surface but cant make condyle back to the middle of acetabulum.

Chinese Journal of Radiology 2008;42(12):1275-1278
Objective To study the multi-slice spiral CT (MSCT) manifestations of septic pulmonary embolism(SPE) in order to get a better understanding of the disease,Methods The MSCT manifestations of 12 patients with septic pulmonary embolism were retrospectively analyzed and compared with chest radiograph. Results Of the 12 patients,Chest radiograph and CT scanning showed multiple peripheral pulmonary nodules in 8 and 12 cases,a feeding vessel sigu(0,9 cases),cavitations(6,10 cases) and wedge-shaped opacities(4,7 cases),focal infiltrates(2,4 cases),air cyst(2,5 cases),pleural lesions (3,6 cases),hilar or mediastinal lymphadenopathy(0,3 cases).Peripheral or subpleural zones were most commonly affected (8,12 cases).CT was more useful in revealing nodules and a feeding vessel sign.Multiplanar reconstructions (MPR),maximum intensity projection (MIP) showed that most of these vessels passed around nodules and wedge-shaped lesions.MPR showed regular nodular margin. Conclusion SPE presents with variable and often nonspecific clinical and radiographic features.MPR and MIP showed the features of nodules and feeding vessels better. The diagnosis is usually suggested by the presence of a predisposing factor, febrile illness, and CT findings of multiple, periphery pulmonary nodules, with orwithout cavitation and a feeding vessel sign.

AIM To investigate the effects of melatonin (MT) on glutathione peroxidase(GPx), superoxide dismutase(SOD) activities and malondialdehyde(MDA) contents in the cerebrum of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion gerbils, so as to explore the protective mechanisms of MT. METHODS Cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model was made by 10 min occlusion of bilateral carotid arteries of gerbil. MT was administered intraperitoneally 30 min prior to the onset of ischemia. After 1 h reperfusion, bilateral cortex and striatum were taken out for measurement of GPx, SOD and MDA. RESULTS Ischemia-reperfusion lowered the activities of GPx and SOD in cerebral cortex and striatum. Conversely, it elevated the contents of MDA in both areas. Treatment with MT at 5, 10, or 20 mg?kg -1 partly reversed these effects. CONCLUSION MT provides protective effect against cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury by protecting GPx and SOD activities and reducing the lipid peroxidation.

Now organophosphorus pesticides (OPs) bioremediation mainly means microbial bioremediation. However, phytoremediation has an advantage over microbial bioremediation because phytoremediation is safer and costs less than microbial bioremediation. Nevertheless, phytoremediation has limitations yet such as plants need better growth conditions and the efficiency of phytoremediation is lower. All these have confined the application of phytoremediation. Progresses of microbial bioremediation and phytoremediation of OPs were reviewed and OPs degrading enzymes and their organism sources, which are known by now, were summarized. Moreover, there are five important ways to enhance the efficiency of phytoremediation of OPs. They are culling plants, studying the action between soil and OPs, studying the genes that can resist or get rid of OPs, setting up the combined system of microbial bioremediation and phytoremediation and using degrading enzymes secreted selectively by roots.

Microbiology 1992;0(06):-
The leakage of genetically engineered microorganism(GEM) at the beginning of operation was the important content for ecological risk assessment when GEM was inoculated in a membrane bioreactor(MBR) for bioaugmentation. The effects of different operating conditions on leaking density and intercepting efficiency of GEM were investigated in a submerged microfiltration MBR at the beginning of operation. The interception characteristics were also discussed. The results showed that different operating conditions had different influences on intercepting efficiency:higher sludge concentration was profit for interception, while higher aeration intensity and flux had opposite effects on interception. When the inoculated density of GEM was 1.0?1010 CFU/mL,the leaking densities varied from 1.0?102 CFU/mL to 2.5?102 CFU/mL under different operating conditions at the beginning of operation and the maximum intercepting efficiency could be higher than 8 lg. The main factors determining intercepting efficiency at the beginning of operation were membrane module interception, sludge adsorption as well as suspended GEM transfer inhibition and their contribution shares under certain conditions were 82.3%,14.9% and 2.8%,respectively. Gel layer formation during MBR stable operation was helpful to increase intercepting efficiency. The contribution shares for GEM interception of membrane module, sludge and gel layer were 75.3%,10.7% and 14.0%,respectively,under certain conditions.
