OBJECTIVETo explore the acupoints selection rules on peptic ulcer treated with acupuncture and moxibustion,so as to provide references for acupoints clinical selecting.

METHODSLiterature on clinical report and clinical study for peptic ulcer treated with acupuncture and moxibustion was retrieved in CNKI, WANFANG, VIP, CBM, PubMed, Web of Science and other databases from January 1, 2003 to August 31, 2014,and acupoints selecting rules were summarized according to syndromes and symptoms.

RESULTSOne hundred and ten articles were acquired, and acupoints the first to the fifth used were Zhongwan (CV 12), Zusanli (ST 36), Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20) and Neiguan (PC 6). The main acupoints were Zhongwan (CV 12) and Zusanli (ST 36). As to acupoints mainly selected in accordance with different syndromes: (1)Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6) were matched for the syndrome of deficiency cold in the spleen and the stomach. (2) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), Geshu (BL 17) were combined for the syndrome of qi stagnation and blood stasis. (3) Weishu (BL, 21), Pishu (BL 20), Qimen (LR 14) for the syndrome of qi stagnation induced by liver depression. (4) Neiguan (PC 6) and Taichong (LR 3) for the syndrome of liver qi invading the stomach. (5) Weishu (BL 21) and Pishu (BL 20) for the syndrome of weakness of the spleen and the stomach. (6) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), Gongsun (SP 4) for the syndrome of cold in the stomach. (7) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), San yinjiao (SP 6) for the syndrome of yin deficiency in the stomach. (8) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), Yinlingquan (SP 9), Ganshu (BL 18) for the syndrome of phlegm and dampness stagnation. As for acupoints majorly selected according to different symptoms, (1) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), Taichong (LR 3) were combined for acid regurgitation. (2) Weishu (BL 21), Neiguan (PC 6), Tianshu (ST 25), Gongsun (SP 4) were selected for abdominal distension. (3) Weishu (BL 21), Neiguan (PC 6), Liangqiu (ST 34), Gongsun (SP 4) for unbearable stomach pain. (4) Weishu (BL 21), Pishu (BL 20), Neiguan (PC 6), Qihai (CV 6), Gongsun (SP 4) for lacking in strength.

CONCLUSIONWe treating peptic ulcer with acupuncture and moxibustion mainly choose Zhongwan (CV 12) and Zusanli (ST 36), and attach importance to acupoints selection based on syndrome and symptom differentiation.

OBJECTIVE:To study the antitumor activity and antioxidative action of glycosaminoglycan from scallop skirt(SS-GAG).METHODS:The effects of different concentration of SS-GAG on the proliferation of four tumor cell lines(HeLa,LOVO,A549,and U251)which had been cultured in vitro were observed by MTT.The effect of SS-GAG on mice within 30 d after innoculation of sarcoma 180 was observed.Multi-kind of biochemistry methods including xanthine oxidase method and thiobarbituric acid colorimetric method were used to study the effect of SS-GAG on total antioxidation activity,activity of SOD,and level of MDA in tumor-bearing mice,which were compared with those in control group.RESULTS:As compared with control group,SS-GAG significantly inhibited the growth of HeLa and U251 cell lines,inhibited the growth of LOVO and A549 cell lines to some degree,significantly prolonged the survival time of the mice with S180 ascites tumor,enhanced the total antioxidant activity and the SOD activity and decreased MDA content in serum(P

Objective Elevated plasma homocysteine(Hcy) level has been associated with the increased risk for cardiovascular disease.The level of plasma Hcy is related to methylene tetrahydrofolate reductase(MTHFR) gene C677T polymorphism.The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationships between MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism and hypertension,cardiac structure and function.Methods Genotype of MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism was detected by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism(PCR-RFLP) analysis and decided by electrophoresis and sequencing in 695 patients with essential hypertension and 509 age-matched normal controls.Echocardiography was performed in patients with essential hypertension.Results In hypertension group,the frequencies of TT genotype and T allele were significantly higher than those in control group(26.5% vs 20.6%,48.7% vs 42.4%;P=0.015,0.002).The essential hypertension odds ratio(OR) associated with MTHFR 677T allele was 1.300(95%CI:1.166 to 1.450).Logistic regression analysis indicated that MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism was an independent variable of hypertension(P=0.027).End diastolic dimension(EDD),interventricular septal thickness(IVST),left ventricular posterior wall thickness(LVPWT),left ventricular mass(LVM) and left ventricular mass index(LVMI) were higher in hypertensive patients with T allele than that in those with CC genotype,but all had no statistical significance(P=0.428,0.118,0.064,0.077,0.054).Conclusion The 677T allele in MTHFR gene may be a risk factor for hypertension.Hypertensive patients with MTHFR 677T had a trend of hypertrophy,but the relationship has no statistical significance.The relationship between MTHFR gene C677T polymorphism and left ventricular hypertrophy need to be further studied.

Objective To explore effect on the proliferation and apoptosis of Hela cells in vitro by using vascular endothelial growth factor-C(VEGF-C) antisense oligonucleotides (ASODN). Methods VEGF-C ASODN was transfected into Hela cells by liposome-mediated; the cells transfected with the oligodeoxynuclecotide (SODN) and saline were used as control groups. The efficiency of transfection was detected by fluorescence microscope. The inhibitive rate of cell growth was detected with MTT methods. Apoptosis and cell cycle were evaluated using FCM. The mRNA expression of VEGF-C was determined by RT-PCR, and the expression of VEGF-C was determined by western blotting. Results VEGF-C ASODN had been transfected into Hela cells by liposome-mediated. The index of apoptosis after transfection 48 h was (19.39±1.81)%. G2/M phase cell increased after transfection, meanwhile the expression of VEGF-C degraded on the level of mRNA and protein (P<0.05). Conclusion Transfeeted with VEGF-C ASODN could down-regulate the expression of VEGF on the level of mRNA and protein, block the cell circle, inhibit cell proliferation and induce apoptosis in Hela cells in vitro.

Objective: To compare the therapeutic effects and adverse reaction of late-course three-dimensional conformal concurrent chemoradiotherapy (3DCRT) and conventional concurrent chemoradiotherapy on stage III non-small cell lung carcinoma. Methods: This study retrospectively analyzed the clinical data from 87 cases with stage III non small cell lung carcinoma. The patients were randomly divided into 3DCRT group (group A, n = 31) and conventional concurrent chemoradiotherapy group (group B, n = 56). Group A was given docetaxel 40 mg once a week for 4-6 times and concurrent radiotherapy at 40 Gy followed by 3DCRT at a total dose of 70-74 Gy. Two weeks after radiotherapy, patients received carboplatin at 300 mg/m2 and docetaxel at 75 mg/m2. Four weeks were regarded as one cycle and the chemotherapy lasted for 4 weeks. Group B were treated with conventional radiotherapy at a total dose of 60-64 Gy. The chemotherapy regimen was the same with group A. Results: This study followed up 87 cases of NSCLC patients for 24 to 36 months. The complete and partial response (CR + PR) rate of group A and group B were 80.65% and 76.56%, respectively. one-and 2-year survival rates were 51.61% and 35.48% for group A, and 35.71% and 17.86% for group B. The difference was not significant between the two groups. The incidences of acute irradiation esophagitis, acute radiation pneumonitis, and myelosuppression were 58.06%, 6.45%, and 54.83% for group A and 79.64%, 16.07%, 85.71% for group B. The difference was not statistically significant. Conclusion: The therapeutic effects of 3DCRT are better than those of conventional concurrent chemoradiotherapy, but the incidence rates of adverse reactions do not increased.

Objective To observe the effects of insulin pump therapy on type 1 diabetes mellitus children with diabetic keto or diabetic ketoa-cidosis(DK/DKA).Methods Forty-three children with DK/DKA were randomly divided into treatment group(n=26)and control group(n=17).The patients in treatment group were treated with insulin pump,control group were received small amount insulin injravenous injection.The changs of blood sugar,urine ketone bodies,incidence of hypoglycemia and length of stay were observed.Results 1.The effect of decreasing sugar was the same between two groups.2.There was no hypoglycemia events in treatment group.But 2 cases in control group had hypoglycemia.3.There was significant difference of length of stay between two groups(P

70%) underwent successful stent implantation. Two weeks after interventional treatment, renal function was improved in 26 patients and blood pressure was well controlled in 24.Conclusions Age, hypertension and hyperlipidemia are the factors influencing occurrence of RAS in patients with CAD. Stent implantation plays an important role in the protection of renal function and control of hypertension.

Objective To identify the molecular components involved in acquired methotrexate-resistance of human choriocarcinoma. Methods Methotrexate-resistant cell line(JAR/MTX) was derived from JAR cell line by exposed to intervally and progressively increasing higher concentration of MTX. cDNA microarray analyses of JAR/MTX and its parental cell line JAR were performed. Results JAR/MTX was established after one year with stable resistance. Its resistant index to MTX was 7.3. Nine genes were differential expressed between JAR/MTX and JAR cells. INSR,SLC1A3,SAT,HBB,and FLJ12443 were underexpressed and HS1,TXNRD1,TAGLN2,and EEF2 were overexpressed in JAR/MTX cells. Conclusion The cDNA microarray system showed that several alterations of gene expression were present in acquired methotrexate-resistance of human choriocarcinoma.
