This paper was mainly on pesticide degrading microorganisms. The major pesticide degrading bacteria were Pseudomonas, Bacillus, Flavobacterium, Alcaligenes, Arthrobacter, etc. The major pesticide degrading fungi were Aspergillus,Pinicielium, Rhizopus, Trichoderma, Fusarium, etc. The major pesticide degrading actinomycetes were Nocardia, Streptomyces, etc.

Objective To study the influences by a Cyelin-dependent kinase inhibitor Roscovitine on cell cycle in mitotic hepatoma carcinoma cell SMMC-7721. Methods Microscope,MTT, flow cytometry and R-T PCR were used to observe the effects of Roscovitine on morphology, proliferation, cell cycle, apoptosis and the mRNA expression of CDK2, Caspase-3, bcl-2 in SMMC-7721 cells. Results Roscovitine inhibited the proliferation of SMMC-7721 cells in dosage and time dependent manner and induced apoptosis. Flow cytometry showed the ratio of G0, G1 increased. R-T PCR showed that the expression of bcl-2 reduced, Caspase-3 increased. Conclusion Reseovitine can inhibit the growth, proliferation, block the cell cycle at G0/G1 and promotes apoptosis of mitotic SMMC-7721 cells, and the mechanism of apoptosis is dependent on the activity of bcl-2 and Caspase-3.

Aim To discuss the application of tissue spontane-ous fluorescence for draw focal cerebral ischemia reperfusion in-jury in rats based on specific fluorescence detection technology. Methods The change of spontaneous fluorescence WAS COM-PARED between the brains of normal rats and those of rats with draw focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury and an quantita-tive analysis was then made. Result The results showed that spontaneous fluorescence of brain tissue for focal cerebral ische-mia reperfusion injury changed significantly. Spontaneous fluo-rescence signal of injury considerably enhanced. The fluores-cence signal which was quantified by IVIS had significant statisti-cal significance compared with normal brain tissue, P <0. 05. Conclusion Our research shows that spontaneous fluorescence of brain tissue enhances obviously after focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury. Our research provides a method for the re-search and evaluation of focal cerebral ischemia-reperfusion inju-ry model in rats.

In order to investigate the comprehensive quality differences of the seeds harvested in different growing time, and offer theoretical guide for the optimization of seeds' production technology, we analyzed the apparent size, 1 000-grain weight, water absorbency, germination indexes, postharvest embryo rate change, relatively contents of coumarins and the yield of single plant of its seeds of different harvesting time, and compared their comprehensive quality by Topsis analysis. The results showed that there existed obvious differences in yield and quality between seeds of 3 harvesting times. While the harvesting time postponed, the yield of single plant raised, and the shrunken seeds rate decreased, the quality of seedlings increased, while the contents of coumarins showed a steady increase, and the germination rate decreased. The comprehensive quality of the seeds harvested in the black ripe time rank the first place, followed by the brown ripe time and the yellow ripe time. As the harvesting time delays, the seeds' comprehensive quality increases, therefore, we could put off the seeds' harvesting time properly for the high efficient seed production.

Objective To learn the plague's host animals and parasitic flea composition, and to investigate the natural foci of plague in Xiji county in order to provide basic information for plague prevention and control. Methods The Citellus alaschanicus density, nocturnal rodents, the body flea, the burrow track flea, the nest flea were investigated in 8 townships (town) of Xiji county from June 11 2007 to July 25 2007. Specimens of small mammalian, fleas were collected for bacteriological and serological testing. Results The average density of the main host Citellus alaschanicus was 0.85 per hectare. The nocturnal mouse capture rate was 0.80%(24/2987).The survey found 16 species of small mammals that belonging to 3 orders, 9 families and 16 species with Citellus alaschanicus the dominant species. The Citellus alaschanicus had 2.84 fleas per body. Four families and 16 species of fleas were identified in the areas. The Citellus alaschanicus and Citellophilus Tesquorum Mongolicus were the dominant species. Plague bacteriology and serology tests were negative. Conclusions The study shows that the area is suitable for the formation of natural foci of Citellus alaschanicus plague. Surveillance is an important measure for prevention and control of the plague.

Objective:To investigate the expression of wild type estrogen receptor(wER)and the ex-on-5 deleted ER(variant ER,vER)in human hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)samples,and thereafteranalyze the possibility of HCC treatment by endocrine therapy.Methods:The mRNA expressions of wERand vER were analysed from 28 cases of HCC by RT-PCR.The expression of ER at the protein level wasdetected by immunohistochemistry(IHC).Results:IHC results showed that 39.3% of the HCC speci-mens expressed ER.The mRNA of wER was detected in 89.3%(25/28)of the HCC specimens whilethat of vER was detected in 96.4%(27/28).Twenty four out of 28 HCC cases(85.7%)expressedboth wER and vER.One out of 28 patients(3.5%)expressed only wER whereas 3 patients out of 28(10.7%)expressed vER only.Conclusion:Ninety six percent(27/28)of the HCC patients expressedvER,which suggests that the expression of vER is an important event in the development of HCC.

CD4+CD25+ Regulatory T cells (Treg) have been found to down-regulate immune activation in HIV-1 infection. However, whether the depletion of Treg benefits to the disease status of HIV infection remains undefined. To address this issue, we enumerated the Treg absolute counts and frequency in 75 antiviral-na(i)ve HIV-1-infected individuals in this study. It was found that HIV-infected patients displayed a significant decline in Treg absolute counts but a significant increase in Treg frequency. In addition, with disease progression indicated by CD4 T-cell absolute counts, circulating Treg frequency gradually increased; while Treg absolute counts were gradually decreased, suggesting that the alteration of Treg number closely correlated with disease progression in HIV infection.Functional analysis further showed that Treg efficiently inhibit both CD4 and CD8 T cell proliferation in vitro. Thus, our findings indicates that Treg actively participate in pathogenesis of chronic HIV infection,influencing the disease progression.

Objective To investigate the effects of exercise training(ET)on the expression of glucogen synthase kinase 3 bate(GSK 3?)in the adipose tissues of insulin resistant(IR)rats on a high fat diet(HFD). Methods Thirty male Wistar rats were randomly divided into a control group(n=10)and a model group(M group,n=20).Insulin resistance was established by feeding a HFD to the M group for 4 w,while rats in the control group were fed a normal diet.The IR rats were then randomly divided into two subgroups:an IR group and an ET group.All rats in the IR and ET groups were fed a HFD,but ET was administrated to the ET group for 6w.The expres- sion of GSK 3?protein in the rats'epididymis adipose tissue was detected using Western blotting,and body weight (BW),the concentrations of serum triglyceride and cholesterol(TG and TC),fasting plasma glucose(FPG)and serum insulin(FINS),as well as insulin sensitivity index(ISI)were regularly detected.Results Compared with the con- trol group,BW and the concentrations of serum TG and TC,FPG and FINS in the model group were significantly in- creased(P＜0.05),while ISI was decreased(P＜0.01).Compared with the control group,there was no difference in GSK 3 protein expression in the ET group,but the expression of GSK 3?protein in the ET group was obviously de- creased in comparison with that in the IR group(P＜0.05).Conclusion ET can ameliorate IR by decreasing GSK 3?protein expression in adipose tissues and enhancing the ingestion of glucose and the synthesis of glycogen.
