Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2021;30(5):452-458
Objective:To explore the behavior and eye movement characteristics when processing different emotional faces in college students with different levels of social anxiety. Methods:According to the scores of Liebowitz social anxiety scale, 26 and 27 subjects with high and low social anxiety were selected. The response time and accuracy of the subjects under consistent and inconsistent conditions were measured by the dot probe task.Eye movement data of the subjects were recorded when they viewed angry, disgusting and neutral faces.SPSS 19.0 software was used for repeated measurement analysis of variance. Results:The accuracy rates of the high social anxiety group were (0.97±0.10) and (0.93±0.15) under consistent and inconsistent conditions, and the response time of the high social anxiety group were (660.97±125.38) ms and (687.81±150.90) ms under consistent and inconsistent conditions.High social anxiety subjects showed significant differences in the accuracy and response time under different consistency conditions ( F(1, 51)=15.25, P<0.01 for accuracy, F(1, 51)=7.85, P<0.01 for reaction time), while low social anxiety subjects showed no significant difference(both P>0.05). There were significant differences between the first fixation latency for emotional faces and neutral faces( F(2, 102)=15.01, P<0.01). The total fixation time of emotional face and neutral face was significantly different ( F(2, 102)=4.38, P<0.05). Conclusion:College students with different levels of social anxiety all showed early attentional alertness and attentional disengagement difficulty to emotional faces, but only those with high social anxiety showed attentional bias to emotional faces at the behavioral level.

International Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine 2015;(1):25-28
Objective To investigate the effects of electroacupuncture at Neiguan point (PC6) and Jianshi point (PC5) combined with granisetron on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting. Methods Seventy-two tumor patients undergoing chemotherapy were randomly divided into an electroacupuncture group (38 patients) and a false electroacupuncture group (34 patients). The electroacupuncture group received electroacupuncture at PC6 and PC5 (1 h, bid) combined with granisetron (3 mg, i.v.) 30 min before chemotherapy, and repeat one time after 12 h. The false electroacupuncture group received electroacupunctur at false PC6 and false PC5, and other treatment same as the electroacupuncture group. Both groups were treated for 3 days. The nausea and vomiting frequencies and clinical effects were compared between the two groups. Results The vomiting frequency in the electroacupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (0.37 ± 0.75 vs. 1.12 ± 2.13;t=2.034, P=0.046). The nausea degree in the electroacupuncture group was significantly lower than that in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (1.21 ± 0.93 vs. 1.88 ± 0.59;t=3.596, P=0.001) and day 3 (1.26 ± 0.92 vs. 1.68 ± 0.53; t=2.293, P=0.025). The total effective rate in the electroacupuncture group was significantly higher than those in the false electroacupuncture group on day 2 (76.3% vs. 64.7%; χ2=12.390, P=0.006) and day 3 (73.7%vs. 64.7%;χ2=12.313, P=0.006). Conclusions Electroacupuncture at PC6 and PC5 combined with granisetron can attenuate chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting.
3.Transforming growth factor-beta 3 induces differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells into fibrochondrocytes
Chinese Journal of Tissue Engineering Research 2013;(49):8570-8575
BACKGROUND:The repair of temporomandibular joint disc is stil a great clinical chal enge. Pluripotent adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells bring a hope for fibrocartilage tissue repair. Up to now, there are few studies concerning transforming growth factor-β3 to induce differentiation of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells into fibrochondrocytes.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the growth and morphology of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3.
METHODS:We observed the morphology of fibrochondrocytes differentiated from adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3. Histological and immunofluorescence staining were employed to detect the expression of extracellular matrix Ⅰ, Ⅱ col agens and proteoglycansthe produced by adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells. We also evaluated the feasibility of adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells as seed cells for fibrocartilage tissue engineering.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:Under the inverted fluorescence microscope, induced cells showed obvious aggregation growth, polygonal shape, and increased secretion of extracellular matrix. Alcian blue staining results showed that under the induction of transforming growth factor-β3, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells exhibited the distinctly deep blue, indicating a large number of glycosaminoglycan was synthesized. Immunostaining results showed that under the induction of transforming growth factorβ3, adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells synthesized extracellular matrix Ⅰ, Ⅱ col agen. These findings suggest that transforming growth factorβ3 can induce adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells to differentiate into fibrouscartilage-like cells, and that adipose-derived mesenchymal stem cells can serve as seed cells for fibrocartilage tissue engineering.
4.Efficacy of Iron Dextran Combined with EPO in the Treatment of Renal Anemia
Chinese Journal of Pharmacoepidemiology 2006;0(01):-
Objective:To compare the intravenous (Ⅳ) administration with an oral iron agent administration in their efficacy and side effects in hemodialysis patients with renal anemia. Method:50 renal anemic patients were randomly grouped as the treatment group (TG) and controlled group (25 cases for each). 100 mg iron dextran injection was intravenously dropped twice weekly for the TG patients in the dialysis course, totally 10 times. 150 mg iron polysaccharide complex capsules was orally used qd in the controlled group. All the patients were treated in combination with 8000u of erythropoietin (EPO) weekly and observed for 8 weeks. The changes in Hb, serum ferritin level and agent side effect were monitored. Result:Hb, Hct and SP were all improved in both the TG and controlled group after the treatment (P
5.Effects of electroacupuncture on chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting and its mechanism.
Chinese Acupuncture & Moxibustion 2014;34(11):1061-1064
OBJECTIVETo observe the effects of electroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) com- bined with granisetron on nausea and vomiting as well as serum levels of 5-hydroxy tryptamine (5-HT) and dopamine (DA) in chemotherapy patients.
METHODSSeventy-two chemotherapy patients who met the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into an observation group (38 cases) and a control group (34 cases). The patients in the observation group were treated with electroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) combined with granisetron injection; the patients in the control group were treated with electroacupuncture at sham-point 1 and sham- point 2, and the rest treatment was identical to the observation group. After 3-day treatment, the clinical indices including times of vomiting and severity of nausea, etc. were observed in the two groups.
RESULTS(1) At the acute stage within 24 h, the times of vomiting in the two groups were not significantly different (P>0.05); at the delay stage, the severity of nausea was significantly higher in the control group (P<0.05). (2) As for the comprehensive efficacy and rate of complete control, there was no obvious difference between the two groups at the acute stage (P>0.05); while in the delay stage, the rate of complete control in the observation group was superior to that in the control group (P<0.01). (3) Compared before and after the treatment, serum levels of 5-HT and DA were evidently reduced in the observation group (both P<0.05), while those in the control group were not significantly changed after treatment (both P>0.05).
CONCLUSIONElectroacupuncture at Neiguan (PC 6) and Jianshi (PC 5) combined with granisetron could obviously relieve the nausea in chemotherapy patients at the delay stage. The effect mechanism is possibly related to reducing the content of 5-HIT nndl nA

Journal of Biomedical Engineering 2013;30(6):1272-1275
The aim of this study was to obtain the alginate gels which could have proper compressive strength and excellent permeability for cell proliferation and could have more promising potentials in the application of tissue engineering. Through the reaction of the carboxyl of the alginate and the amino of methacrylic acid, methylacrylic was generated into alginate long chain which could be enhanced by the polymerization of double bond under thermal reaction condition. And then alginate gel beads were prepared using the mixture of calcium chloride and barium chloride solution as cationic crosslinker, and the compressive modulus and permeability of the prepared alginate gel beads were investigated. When the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions was 5:5, the compression modulus was 189.7 kPa, and it showed the best permeability for trypsin with molecular weight of 24 kDa and entrapment effect for bovine serum albumin with molecular weight of 67 kDa. Compared to compositions of other ratios, the alginate gel beads made in 5:5 mixture indicated excellent compressive modulus and permeability. These results indicated that the alginate hydrogel beads with the ratio of barium ions to calcium ions being 5:5 have a potential application in tissue engineering as a support material and encapsulating materials in cell culture.
