Objective To observe the effect of 5 fluorouracil (5 FU) on regulating the inflammatory and anti inflammatory cytokines in acute pancreatitis(AP) in rats, and to investigate the mechanism of treatment of AP with 5 FU. Method SD male rats were divided randomly into 3 groups:false operation group (n=6), AP group(n=24) and 5 FU treatment group(n=24). Then, AP group and 5 FU treatment group redivided respectively into 3 subgroups: After the AP model sut up or after 5 Fu treatment 2, 6 and 24 h subgroups (n=8). The animals were killed at the blood samples were taken for measurement of TNF ?, IL 1, IL 6, IL 10 and TGF ?. The wet weight of pancreatic tissue and blood amylase also were observed. Results Both serum inflammatory cytokines (TNF ?,IL 1 and IL 6) and anti inflammatory cytokines (IL 10 and TGF ?) in AP group increased significantly (P

Objective To observe whether immature Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor (proBDNF)can affect the activities of OPCs in the fields of cell proliferation and migration after SCI,and to investigate the relationship between proBDNF and p75NTR signal pathway on OPCs.Methods OLN-93 cell line was cultured and maintained for in vitro experiments.Immunofluorescence were used to check the expression of endogenous proBDNF,p75NTR and sortilin on OPCs.MTT assay was used to illustrate the inhibitory effect of proBDNF.The effects of anti-proBDNF was also observed by BrdU staining to find a probably signal pathway for proBDNF on OPCs.The Sprague-Dawley rats were administered for T9 spinal cord injury animal model.BBB score was applied to observe the situation of functional recovery after treated by anti-proBDNF.BrdU staining was managed to observe the situation of OPCs proliferation and migration after SCI.Results Endogenous proBDNF inhibited proliferation and migration of OPCs after SCI.BrdU staining showed that population of proliferative OPCs in lesion site of spinal cord was less in proBDNF in treated group than that in control group and anti-proBDNF group. While anti-proBDNF could inhibit proBDNF specifically and might induced a better functional recovery which was illustrated by BBB scores. The in vitro experiments found the inhibitory effect of proBDNF is dose-dependent and can be neutralized by anti-proBDNF properly. Moreover, the expression levels of p75NTR and sortilin are down regulated by proBDNF antibody treated group. This indicated that proBDNF may inhibit OPCs via p75NTR pathway. Conclusion Endogenous proBDNF can inhibit cell proliferation of OPCs after SCI and can be neutralized by specific antibodies of proBDNF.This kind of detrimental effect may be induced by p75NTR-sortilin pathway.Furthermore, proBDNF antibody treatment is effective to block proBDNF and promote the functional recovery.

Objective:
To investigate the association between blood pressure and all-cause mortality in Shanxi, China.
Methods:
The '2002 China Nutrition and Health Survey' baseline data in Shanxi province was used. A retrospective investigation was performed in 2015. The effects of SBP and DBP on the all-cause mortality were analyzed using the Cox regression model. The hazard ratio (
Results:
The follow-up rate was 76.52% over 13 years, while the cumulative mortality rate for all participants was 917.12/100,000 person-years. The mortality rose with an increasing SBP (
Conclusion
Adults with SBP > 160 mmHg and DBP > 100 mmHg had a higher mortality risk. Sex and age difference was noted in both DBP and mortality risk.

OBJECTIVETo evaluate the diagnostic performance of different specimens for detecting CIN2(+), and to find the solution of the problem that why the performance of self-collected specimen is worse than cervical specimen collected by physician.
METHODSThe cervix, lower 1/3 vagina, upper 1/3 vagina and self-collected specimens from each of the 806 women who took part in this multi-center screening program from May 2006 to April 2007 were tested by hybrid capture 2 (HC2) technique. The diagnostic performance of HC2 on the four specimens for detecting CIN2(+) lesions was calculated. Linear array was performed on the four specimens from 489 out of the 806 women and the diagnostic performance of linear array on the four specimens for detecting CIN2(+) lesions was also calculated. Z test was used to compare the area under ROC and McNemar or χ(2) test was used to compare the sensitivity and specificity of different specimens.
RESULTSThe area under ROC of the cervix, 1/3 upper vagina, 1/3 lower vagina and self-collected samples testing by HC2 for detecting CIN2(+) lesions were 0.902, 0.793, 0.769 and 0.773, respectively (P < 0.001). Using 1 RUL/CO as the cut-point of HC2, the sensitivity of the cervix, upper vagina, lower vagina and self-collected samples were 98.0%, 91.8%, 83.7% and 81.6%. Compared with the cervical specimen, the sensitivity of self-collected specimen for detecting CIN2(+) lesions was significantly lower (P = 0.008). Lowering the cutoff value for HC2 test could improve the sensitivity of self-collected specimen, but it significantly compromised the specificity. The sensitivity of self-collected specimen tested by linear array for detecting CIN2(+) lesions was 95.7% and it was not significantly different compared with the sensitivity of cervical specimen (97.9%) tested by HC2.
CONCLUSIONSThe performance of self-collected specimen tested by HC2 for detecting CIN2(+) lesions is lower than that of physician-collected cervical specimen, and lowering the cutoff value can't improve its diagnostic performance. Using linear array as the HPV DNA test can significantly improve the screening diagnostic performance of self-collected specimens.
