1.Disease risk factor control and drug intervention in diabetic retinopathy
International Eye Science 2014;(12):2165-2167
Diabetic retinopathy ( DR ) is one of the common and serious complications of diabetes, which also the main causes of visual impairment in patients with diabetes, and its incidence has been increasing. With the in- depth study of the pathogenesis of DR, through the control of risk factors including blood glucose, blood pressure and lipid, as well as the application of a variety of drugs, the prevention and cure of DR achieved a certain effect. ln this paper, we make a review of the present status and progress in recent years on the DR control risk factors and drug intervention.
2.Role of placental growth factor in neovascularage-related macular degeneration
International Eye Science 2015;(5):796-798
? Choroidal neovascularization is the primary pathogenesis of neovascularage - related macular degeneration ( nAMD ) , and the role of vascular endothelial growth factor ( VEGF ) in neovascularization has been widely recognized. Currently, drugs target different targets of VEGF have been widely used in the treatment of nAMD. As a subtype of VEGF, placental growth factor ( PlGF) has synergistic effects with VEGF-A on promoting angiogenesis, stimulating the migration of endothelial cell proliferation and mediating immune inflammatory response. There is no expression of PlGF in mature blood vessels so PlGF hashigh specificity. ln this paper, the role of PlGF in the pathogenesis and treatment of nAMD is reviewed.

Objective:To construct an adenovirus vector harboring human basic fibroblast growth factor (bFGF) cDNA and investigate the expression of bFGF in human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) in vitro. Methods: The adenovirus expression vector Ad5-bFGF was constructed by homologous recombination technique. The best value of MOI was tested by transfecting human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC) with Ad5-GFP. Ad5-bFGF was used to transfect HUVEC at the obtained value of MOI and the expression of bFGF protein was detected by immunocytochemistry method and Western blotting. Results: The best value of MOI for adenovirus 5 to transfect HUVEC was 200 and the transfection rate was 90%. Immunocytochemistry method and Western blotting showed that bFGF was expressed in HUVEC after transfection with Ad5-bFGF and the expression was significantly higher than that in untransfected HUVEC (P

Objective To observe the surgical effect of nipple retractor to inverted nipples. Methods Between January 2001 and January 2014,this nipple retractor to inverted nipples was used to correct 604 inverted nipples of 322 patients. The follow-up period ranged from 6 to 24 months. The clinical results and complications were evaluated. Results Excellent nipple morphology and patient satisfaction were achieved in 211 cases (93.8 %),basically normal nipple morphology and patient satisfaction were achieved in 12 cases (5.3%),and recurrent nipple inversion occurred in three cases (1.3%).The latter three patients had experienced failed open correction for their inverted nipples, and some degree of nipple inversion occurred after removal of the frame. In this study,28 patients (12.4 %) experienced successful pregnancy and breast-feeding.No loss of nipple sensation occurred in 225 cases.Nipple erection was observed after stimulation in 215 cases (95.6%).Conclusions The described technique is minimally invasive, simple, safe, and reliable.Satisfying aesthetic results can be achieved without destroying breast feeding function and nipple sensation.

Objective:To summarize the establishment and management experience of extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) rapid response team, and explore a more efficient rescue mode. Methods:From January 2015 to September 2020, 85 patients treated with ECMO in Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University were selected as the research objects. Thirty-eight patients treated with conventional ECMO from January 2015 to December 2019 were selected as the control group, and 47 patients treated with ECMO rapid response team from January 2020 to September 2020 were selected as the experimental group. The differences in team preparation time, catheterization time, treatment success rate, incidence of complications and equipment failure frequency between the two groups were compared. Results:There were no significant differences in gender, age or disease types between the two groups. The team preparation time and catheterization time of the experimental group were significantly shorter than those of the control group [team preparation time (minutes): 31.79±6.10 vs. 67.16±30.49, catheterization time (minutes): 40.62±7.13 vs. 84.89±19.29], and the incidence of complications was significantly lower than that of the control group [4.3% (2/47) vs. 21.1% (8/38)], and the differences were statistically significant (all P < 0.05). Conclusion:ECMO rapid response team can shorten the rescue preparation time, reduce the occurrence of complications, improve the team treatment efficiency, and provide ideas for emergency and critical patients.

OBJECTIVETo resolve the contradictory in expounding of reinforcing and reducing by lifting and thrustion the needle and slow-rapid reinforcing and reducing method.
METHODSIn a certain condition, the relationship between the external force (the joint force of both the pressing on the force pressing on the needle and the force arresting the needle's moving) and the speed of needle's moving is deduced by means of kinetic energy theorem, so, when the needle is heavily thrust or lifted, the speed of its moving will be increased.
CONCLUSIONIn the reinforcing and reducing method by lifting and thrusting the needle, "heavily"and "gently" of heavily thrustiing and gently lifting or gently thrusting and heavily lifting should be considered as differences of the amplitudes of lifting and thrusting the needle; "slow-rapid" of slow-rapid reinforcing and reducing method should be considered as difference of the speeds.
