Objective To investigate the alternation of left ventricular systolic function in patients underwent transcatheter aortic valve implantation operation(TAVI) by three-dimensional speckle tracking technology (3D-STI).Methods Totally 20 patients with severe aortic stenosis were enrolled. All the subjects underwent successful TAVI operation. The real-time 3D full volume datasets on apical four-chamber view were acquired on before,7 days and 1 month after TAVI.Left ventricular global longitudinal strain(GLS),regional peak systolic longitudinal strain(LS),regional peak systolic circumferential strain(CS) and regional peak systolic radial strain(RS),were analysed using off-line TomTec software, the differences among the three groups were compared. Results Compared with the preoperation, aortic valve blood flow velocity (AV),mean aortic valve pressure gradient(mPAG) of 7 days after operation decreased significantly.Threedimensional left ventricular ejecation fraction(3D-LVEF) among the patients whose 3D-LVEF under 50%had a remarkable increase and whose 3D-LVEF exceed 50% before operation had no significant change, while 1 month after operation the 3D-LVEF had a significant improvement compared with the preoperational data regardless of 3D-LVEF under 50% or not.The GLS and LS of all segments of 7 days after TAVI were higher than pre-operation(all P <0.05),and it had a further improvement 1 month after TAVI.Conclusions LV systolic function had improvement early after TAVI.3D-STI is a new, convenient way to detect the global and regional left ventricular systolic function of TAVI patients.

Journal of Forensic Medicine 2014;30(6):437-440
OBJECTIVE:
To assess the patterns of linkage disequilibrium (LD) of 16 STR loci on X chromo- some and investigate the genetic stability.
METHODS:
Genomic DNA samples extracted from blood stains from 500 unrelated individuals and 885 lineage members from Eastern Chinese Han population were genotyped through multiplex amplification using IDtyperX-16 kit by our independent research followed by capillary electrophoresis. LD was assessed by PowerMarker v3.25 software and mutation rate of every locus was analyzed.
RESULTS:
LD were not found at the 16 X-STR loci. Allele mutations were observed at 10 loci. Among them, mutation rates of DXS6809 and DXS7132 were both up to 0.0048.
CONCLUSION
When the 16 X-STR loci included in IDtyperX-16 kit were used for parentage testing, product princi- ples can be applied to calculate the likelihood, but mutation should be taken into consideration in the case that the genotypes do not meet the genetic law (especially at DXS6809 and DXS7132).

Microbiology 1992;0(03):-
Baculovirus DNA polymerase gene belongs to an early gene of baculovirus. It is a necessary gene required for replication of virus in insect cells. It can encode DNA polymerase induced by virus. In the process of replication, DNA polymerase can bind to homologous regions and non-homologous regions, which are believed to act as the origins of virus DNA replication with other replication factors. In addition, DNA polymerase has advantages over occlusion protein and egt gene for resolving deep branching taxonomic relationships of baculovirus phylogenies.

Protein & Cell 2014;5(9):673-691
Hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) is one of the most frequent human malignancies worldwide with very poor prognosis. It is generally accepted that the progression of HCC is a long-term process with accumulation of multiple genetic and epigenetic alterations, which further lead to the activation of critical oncogenes or inactivation of tumor suppressor genes. HCC is characterized with multiple cancer hallmarks including their ability to proliferate, anti-apoptosis, invade, metastasis, as well as the emerging features such as stem cell properties and energy metabolic switch. The irreversible alterations at genetic level could be detected as early as in the pre-neoplastic stages and accumulate during cancer progression. Thus, they might account for the cancer initiating steps and further malignant transformation. In addition to genetic alterations, epigenetic alterations can affect the cancer transcriptome more extensively. Alterations in DNA methylation, histone modification, miRNAs, RNA editing, and lncRNAs might result in disrupted gene regulation networks and substantially contribute to HCC progression. In this review, the genetic and epigenetic alterations which significantly contribute to the malignant capabilities of HCC will be updated and summarized in detail. Further characterization of those critical molecular events might better elucidate the pathogenesis of HCC and provide novel therapeutic targets for treatment of this deadly disease.

Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and security of triple antiplatelet with cilostazol in the elderly after drug-eluting stent implantation and compare it with double antiplatelet treatment. Methods 234 elderly patients with coronary disease were randomly divided into two groups.118 cases in the triple antiplatelet group were treated with clopidogrel (300 or 600 mg/d) and aspirin(100 mg/d) in addition with cilostazol(200mg/d) from pre surgery to 6 month after surgery, then received double antiplatelet treatment.116 cases in the double antiplatelet group were treated with Aspirin(100 mg/d) and clopidogrel(300 or 600 mg/d),then clopidogrel was ceased after 1 year and used only Aspirin. The main parameters during follow up included all-cause death, major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) and major adverse cardiac and cerebrovascular event (MACCE),the secondary parameters during follow- up were recurrence of angina pectoris, myocardial infarction, revascularization and hemorrhage within 2 years. Results The recurrence of angina pectoris and revascularization were found in 1 case (0.85%) and 1 case(0.85%) respectively in the triple antiplatelet group, while 8 cases(6.90%) and 8 cases (6.90%) in the double antiplatelet group, with significant difference between the two groups(both x2 =4.27,P<0.05).All cause death, myocardial infarction, cerebral apoplexy and hemorrhage were not found in the triple antiplatelet group, while 1 case of death,1 case with myocardial infarction,1 case with apoplexy and no hemorrhage appeared in the double antiplatelet group, with no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).Conclusions The triple antiplatelet added with cilostazol in the elderly after drug eluting stent implantation may decrease the recurrence of angina pectoris and revascularization with higher security.

This study is to investigate the effect of ethyl gallate on invasion capabilities and its mechanism of breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells. Using cell adhesion and transwell assay, separately, the effects of ethyl gallate on the invasion of MDA-MB-231 cells were measured. The Akt-NF-κB signal pathway protein expressions were analyzed with Western blot. Also, the mRNA levels of MMP-9 and MMP-2 were analyzed by RT-PCR. Ethyl gallate inhibited the abilities of motility, adhesion and invasion of breast cancer MDA-MB-231 cells in vitro (P<0.05), inhibited the mRNA levels of MMP-9, MMP-2, phosphorylation of AKt and protein expression of NF-κB. It is concluded that ethyl gallate can inhibit the abilities of invasion of breast cancer in vitro by inhibiting the mRNA levels of MMP-9/MMP-2, phosphorylation of Akt and protein expression of NF-κB.
