In order to investigate the characteristics of transdermal delivery of ferulic acid under the treated of microneedle arrays and the influence on permeability of rat skin capillaries, improved Franz-cells were used in the transdermal delivery experiment with the rat skin of abdominal wall and the length of microneedle arrays, different insertion forces, retention time were studied in the influence of characteristics of transdermal delivery of FA. The amount of FA was determined by HPLC system. Intravenous injection Evans blue and FA was added after microneedle arrays treated. Established inflammation model was built by daubing dimethylbenzene. The amount of Evans blue in the rat skin was read at 590 nm wavelength with a Multiskan Go microplate reader. Compared with passive diffusion group the skin pretreated with microneedle arrays had a remarkable enhancement of FA transport (P <0.01). The accumulation of FA increased with the enhancement of insertion force as to as the increase of retention time. Microneedle arrays with different length had a remarkable enhancement of FA transport, but was not related to the increase of the length. The research of FA on the reduce of permeability of rat skin capillaries indicated that the skin pretreated with microneedle arrays could reduce the content of Evans blue in the skins of rat significantly compared with the untreated group. The permeation rate of ferulic acid transdermal delivery had remarkable increase under the treated of microneedle arrays and the length of microneedle arrays ,the retention time so as to the insertion force were important to the transdermal delivery of ferulic acid.

Chinese Journal of Biotechnology 2005;21(4):604-608
Continuous ethanol fermentation using very high gravity medium containing 280 g/L glucose, 5 g/L yeast extract and 3 g/L peptone was run at the dilute rates of 0.006 h(-1), 0.012 h(-1), 0.017 h(-1), 0.024 h(-1) and 0.032 h(-1) (based on the total working volume) in a combined bioreactor system composed of a stirred tank and three-stage tubular bioreactors in series. Oscillations marked by big fluctuations of residual glucose, ethanol and biomass were observed at the dilution rate of 0.012 h(-1). The Hopf Bifurcation theory was used to analyze and predict the occurring of these oscillations and the dilution rates that incited oscillations. Theoretical analysis revealed that oscillations can occur at designated specific growth rates and was validated by experimental results. The benefits of oscillations for the fermentation system were also discussed by comparing the fermentation results with those without oscillations.

Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2018;46(4):543-549
The fatty acid contents in soybean oil, corn oil, coconut oil, sunflower seed oil and fish oil were detected by gas chromatography. According to the characteristics of fatty acids of raw oil and the relevant regulations of GB 10765-2010,the formula of 6 kinds of human milk lipid substitutes was designed by Matlab software and Excel linear programming. At the same time, the Schaal oven accelerated oxidation method was used to study the oxidation process of 6 formulations using synchronous fluorescence technique combined with traditional chemical reagents (oxidation index:peroxide value, value of fennel and total oxidation value). By statistical analysis of data, the statistical relationship between fluorescence intensity and oxidation index was explored. The results showed that the main fatty acids of coconut oil were lauric acid and myristic acid, and its saturated fatty acid content was the highest 93.75% ±0.06%;while all the other oils were mainly composed of palmitic acid, linoleic acid and other components, wherein the fish oil had the highest content of unsaturated fatty acid. With the increase of oxidation time, the fluorescence intensity decreased gradually and the oxidation index value increased continuously. The correlation analysis and regression analysis results showed that the change of oxidation index and the fluorescence intensity of 6 samples had negative correlation, and the fluorescence intensity and the peroxide value and total oxidation value was quadratic linear correlation, and anisidine value as a linear correlation had strong correlation.

Objective:To investigate the current application of colonoscopy at hospitals in China. Methods:From November 2019 to January 2020, an online questionnaire survey was conducted among gastroenterologists and colonoscopists in hospitals of different levels. The contents of questionnaire survey included basic information of colonoscopy at the respondent′s hospital, protocols and patient education of bowel preparation, implementation of colonoscopy quality control, and colonoscopists′ understanding of polypectomy techniques and post-polypectomy follow-up.Results:A total of 236 valid questionnaires were collected, involving 187 hospitals, and 143 (76.5%) had an annual operation capacity of more than 5 000 cases. In terms of bowel preparation, split-dosed polyethylene glycol electrolyte powder (PEG) was the most commonly used (60.4%, 113/187) and the most common volume of PEG was 3 L (67.4%, 126/187). Verbal (90.9%, 170/187) and written (79.7%, 149/187) instructions were given more often than other methods for patient education of bowel preparation. Antifoaming agent was routinely used in 124 (66.3%) hospitals. In terms of quality control, only 11.5% (20/174) hospitals implemented all four measures. In terms of polypectomy techniques, 98.1% (203/207) colonoscopists chose hot snare polypectomy or endoscopic mucosal resection for lesions of diameter>1 cm, while options varied for lesions of diameter<1 cm. The interval of follow-up after polypectomy recommended by colonoscopists was shorter than that by guidelines. Conclusion:Several problems are found in the survey in the application of colonoscopy in China, i. e., patient education of bowel preparation is not diversified; quality control of colonoscopy still needs to be strengthened; polypectomy techniques and follow-up after polypectomy need to be further standardized.

Objective To investigate the distribution of water fluoride and the present status of water- improving delluoridation projects in the endemic fluorosis areas in Gansu Province. Methods According to "The National Technical Scheme for Endemic Disease Control in 2004" for the water improving projects, water fluoride content was determined from fluorosis villages in 34 counties of 11 cities in Gansu Province. The fluoride content in drinking water was assessed by F-ion selective electrode. Results Water fluoride content was determined in 1576 fluorosis villages of 34 counties. Water fluoride content of 7829 water samples was determined, and the fluoride content of 1891 samples was over standard. Water fluoride content was ≤ 1.00 mg/L(accounting for 75.19%) in 1185 villages and 1.00 mg/L(accounting for 24.81%) in 391 villages; the highest water fluoride content was 6.78 mg/L Nine hundred and ninety three water-improving and defluoridation projects were determined. Water fluoride content of 867 water-improving and defluoridation projects was determined; 768 projects had water fluoride content ≤1.00 mg/L(accounting for 87.67%) and water fluoride content of 108 projects was 1.00 mg/L(accounting for 12.33%),with the highest water fluoride content being 5.27 mg/L. Water-improving and delluoridation projects mostly relied on drilling a well to obtain under-grand water. Abandoned projects accounted for 30%. Conclusions In 34 counties of 11 cites(prefecture), nearly 30% of the villages had water fluoride content exceeding the standard. The situation of endemic fluorosis control is still serious in Gausu Province, countermeasures for endemic fluorosis must be carried out as soon as possible and surveillance of water-improving and defluoridation projects must be strengthened.
