Objective To study the effects of Wenyang Huoxue fang on patients with acute coronary syndrome in clinical presentation,inflammatory reactions,plasmin/plasminogen activators,endothelial cell injurys.Method Eighty cases of acute coronary syndrome were divided into treatment group and control group randomly,40 cases for each group.Both groups were treated with standard management(vasodilaters,cholesterol-lowering,antiplatelet) and the treatment group was given Wenyang Huoxue fang additionally for four weeks.TCM symptoms,effect of angina,TXB2,6-K-PGF,t-PA,PAI,IL-2,IL-6 were observed before and after treatment.Result Effective rate of angina in treatment group and control group was 80% and 65% respectively(P

OBJECTIVE To compare the treatment effects of secreory otitis media with artificial eustachian tube insertion and tympanotomy tube insertion.To provide useful information for the treatment of secretory otitis media.METHODS Seventy-one patients(86 ears) with secretory otitis media were randomly divided into tow groups:experimental group(36 cases,44 ears) and control group(35 cases 42 ears).The experimental group was treated by artificial eustachian tube insertion under nasal endoscope.Drugs were injected through the tube into the tympanic cavity everyday after flushing it. The control group were treated by traditional method—the tympanic ventilation tube.All patients were followed up for 6 months.RESULTS The experimental group: 21 ears(47.73%) were cured,19 ears(43.18%) were straightened up,and no effects observed in 4 ears (9.09%).The control group:12 ears(28.57%) cured,17 ears(40.48%) wered straightened up and no effects obsered in 13 ears(30.95%).The efficiency rate of the experimental group(90.91%) was much higher than the control group(69.05%,P

Objective To establish the method for detemining the content of ephedrine hydrochloride in Zhike Pingchuan Tangjiang by HPLC. Methods Diamonsil ODS1 C_(18) Column was used with acetonitrile -0.1% phosphoric solution (with 0.1% triehylamine) (3 : 97) as the mobile phase, the detection wavelength as 205 nm, and flow rate was 1.0 mL/min. Results The calibration curve was linear at the range of 0.12～ 0.96 ?g for ephedrine hydrochloride and linear equation was Y= 109759X+3792.8, r=0.9998. The average recovery was 98.4% and RSD was 0.87% (n =5). Conclusion This method was simple, accurate and proper, with good reproducibility. It can be used for quantitative analysis of ephedrine hydrochloride in Zhike Pingchuan Tangjiang.

Objective To observe the influence of Angongniuhuang injection on the level of in- terleukin-1?(IL-1?),intercellular adhesion molecule-1 (ICAM-1),serum protein S100B and neuron specific enolase (NSE) after brain injury to explore its protective effect on the injured brain tissues. Methods Brain contusion model was made in rats by Feeney's method.Then,the levels of IL-1?and ICAM-1 in the brain tissues and the levels of serum protein S100B and NSE in serum were measured by ELISA method at different time points.Results The level of IL-1?and ICAM-1 in brain tissues and that of S100B protein and NSE in serum in treatment group were lower than that in control group 6-48 hours after injury (P＜0.05).Conclusion Angongniuhuang injection can alleviate inflammatory re- sponse after brain injury and protect effectively brain tissues.

Banana streak virus (BSV),a member of genus Badnavirus,is a causal agent of banana streak disease throughout the world.The genetic diversity of BSVs from different regions of banana plantations has previously been investigated,but there are relatively few reports of the genetic characteristic of episomal (non-integrated)BSV genomes isolated from China.Here,the complete genome,a total of 7722bp (GenBank accession number DQ092436),of an isolate of Banana streak virus (BSV) on cultivar Cavendish (BSAcYNV) in Yunnan,China was determined.The genome organises in the typical manner of badnaviruses.The intergenic region of genomic DNA contains a large stem-loop,which may contribute to the ribosome shift into the following open reading frames (ORFs).The coding region of BSAcYNV consists of three overlapping ORFs,ORF 1 with a non-AUG start eodon and ORF2 encoding two small proteins are individually involved in viral movement and ORF3 encodes a polyprotein.Besides the complete genome,a defective genome lacking the whole RNA leader region and a majority of ORF1 and which encompasses 6525bp was also isolated and sequenced from this BSV DNA reservoir in infected banana plants.Sequence analyses showed that BSAcYNV has closest similarity in terms of genome organization and the coding assignments with an BSV isolate from Vientam (BSAcVNV).The corresponding coding regions shared identities of 88％ and ～95％ at nucleotide and amino acid levels,respectively.Phylogenetic analysis also indicated BSAcYNV shared the closest geographical evolutionary relationship to BSAcVNV among sequenced banana streak badnaviruses.

Objective To compare safety,completeness and long-term results between lobectomy by video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery(VATS) and thoracotomy for clinical stage Ⅰ / Ⅱ non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods Between July 2010 and December 2011,673 patients with clinical stage Ⅰ / Ⅱ NSCLC from 11 hospitals underwent pulmonary lobectomy(425 VATS,248 thoracotomy).Patients were matched by propensity score matoh method to create two comparable groups,402 patients remained eligible for analysis,with 201 patients in each group.Perioperative variables and follow-up results were compared between the two groups.Results Patients characteristics were comparable between the two groups,except for a slight lower preoperative FEV1,FEV1％ and FEV1/FVC in the VATS group (P ＜ 0.05).There was one postoperative death in each group.There was no significant difference in operative time,mediastinal lymph nodes stations/numbers dissected and postoperative drainage time between the two groups.The operative blood loss was lower in the VATS group(P ＜ 0.001),the mean hospital stay was shorter in the VATS group(P ＜ 0.001).Postoperative pneumonia/pulmonary atelectasis rate was lower in the VATS group than in the thoracotomy group (5.1％ vs.10.4％,P ＜ 0.05).Median follow-up time was 20 months in both groups.One-year and two-year recurrence-free survival was 90％ vs.88％ and 80％ vs.70％,respectively(P =0.163).One-year and two-year overall survival were 96％ vs.95％ and 88％ vs.85％,respectively(P =0.226).Conclusion For clinical stage Ⅰ / Ⅱ NSCLC,VATS lobectomy is a feasible procedure with shorter hospital stay and less complications,while its surgical and oncologic outcome is comparable to that of thoracotomy lobectomy.
