Objective To observe inhibitory effect of recombinant human endostatin on the proliferation of vascular tumor endothelial cells and to investigate its possible mechanism.Methods Hemangioma endothelial cells were cultured in vitro and different concentrations of endostatin on hemangioma endothelial cell proliferation inhibition were detected by MTT method.Effect of recombinant human endostatin on endothelial cell cycle was detected by flow cytometry.The expression of VEGF, KDR mRNA in hemangioma endothelial cell were detected by Real-time RT PCR. Results Recombinant human endostatin concentrations in 24 h, 48 h and 72 h after three period during which the hemangioma endothelial cells inhibited significantly( P <0.01 ) , and there was a clear dose dependence, IC50 was 355 μg/mL.Recombinant human vascular endostatin ( 250 μg/mL ) intervented for 24 hours, the proportion of cells in G0/G1 phase(94.23 ±1.66)%, compared with control group (90.63 ±1.14)%, had significantly difference (P<0.05).Compared with the control group, the difference of the expression of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF) was statistically significant (P<0.05) as well as Flk-1 (P <0.05).Conclusion Recombinant human endostatin does not only have inhibitory effect of hemangioma endothelial cell cycle, but also can inhibit the expression of VEGF and FLK-1.

Objective To evaluate the effect of neuraxial and general anaesthesia for total joint arthroplasty by meta-analysis.Methods We searched online Pubmed,Web of science,Cochrane li-brary,CNKI,CBM and searched the literature of the Chinese series journals.All randomized controlled trials (RCT)that met their standards of neuraxial and general anaesthesia for total joint ar-throplasty were collected.The quality of trials was strictly assessed.RevMan 5.3 software was used for data analysis.Results Twenty-one RCTs involving 1 874 cases were included.Compared with general anaesthesia,the pooled data showed that the neuraxial anaesthesia significantly reduced blood loss (WMD=-97.52,95% CI = - 1 73.60-- 21.44,P = 0.01 ),associated with lower risk of deep vein thrombosis (RR=0.68,95%CI=0.48-0.95,P =0.02)and pulmonary embolism (RR=0.58, 95%CI=0.35-0.91,P =0.03),decreased the number of postoperative nausea and vomiting (RR=0.74,95%CI=0.60-0.92,P =0.008).Subgroup analysis showed that compared with general anaes-thesia,the neuraxial anaesthesia associated with lower risk of deep vein thrombosis (RR=0.5 1,95%CI=0.38-0.69,P < 0.000 01 )and pulmonary embolism (RR = 0.34,95% CI = 0.18-0.65,P =0.001)in patients who did not receive chemical antithrombotic prophylaxis.Conclusion Neuraxial anaesthesia seems to improve the outcome of patients undergoing total joint arthroplasty and reduce postoperative complications.

Objective To study the effects of ethanol extract of rhizoma phragmitis on liver glycogen content and glycogen synthetase (GS) in streptozotocin (STZ) induced diabetic mice. Methods The diabetic model mice were divided in-to model control group, high-dose group and low-dose group, 10 mice for each group. Another 10 normal mice were used as control group. The liver glycogen content was detected by histochemical staining of glycogen (PAS) method. The expression of GS mRNA was detected by reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and Western blot assays. Results After PAS staining the hepatic glycogen content decreased significantly in model control group, and which was significantly increased in low-dose group and high-dose group compared with that of model control group (P＜0.01). The hepatic glyco-gen content was the highest in high-dose group compared with that of other three groups. The levels of GS mRNA and GS protein were significantly lower in model control group than those of other three groups, which were significantly lower in low-dose group than those of high-dose group (P＜0.05). Conclusion There is a dose-dependent effect of ethanol extract of rhizoma phragmitis on liver glycogen in STZ induced diabetic mice, which may be related with the increased expression of liver glycogen synthetase.

AIM: To probe into the method of field processed products of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. and inspect its quality. METHODS: Through field processed investigation alcohol-macerated extracts and paenol content compared among the smoked, de-epidermis, drying and direct drying in the sun. RESULTS: Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. with the epidermis is better than others. CONCLUSION: The method of integrating field cutting crude drugs into pieces with processing of Paeonia suffruticosa Andr. has feasible standardization and industrial benefits.

Objective To study the impact of the number of functional natural teeth (FNT) and different oral restoration behaviors on well-being of the elderly.Methods The elderly residents of Guangzhou Haizhu District were acted as respondent,WHO-5 Scale was the measurement instrument of well-being.Analysis of covariance was used to correct confounding factors and analyze the corrected data,and then it was compared by LSD Test.Resuits (1) The results of analysis of covariance showed that,average scores on WHO-5 Scale were not all the same among different groups which were divided by different number of FNT or different oral restoration behaviors (Respectively:F=21.547,P＜0.001 ; F=141.219,P＜0.001).(2) The results of LSD Test showed that,although there were no statistical differences in corrected average scores between group with 5-9 FNT and group with 10-14 FNT (LSD-t=-0.536,P=0.593),differences had statistical senses between other groups(P＜0.01).All scores were ordered from the least to the most number of FNT,and they were (11.786±5.270),(15.724±4.036),(15.934±3.957),(18.941±2.616) and (23.390±6.951) respectively.It also showed that,there were no statistical differences in corrected average scores between the perfect oral restoration behavior group,the imperfect oral restoration behavior group and the no oral restoration behavior group(respectively:(23.056±4.772),(20.647±2.660),(14.872±7.313) ; P＜0.01).Statistical differences were also found in corrected average scores between the imperfect oral restoration behavior group and the abnormal oral restoration behavior group (respectively:(20.647 ±2.660),(14.565±2.914);LSD-t=13.108,P＜0.01).No statistical differences were found in corrected average scores between the no oral restoration behavior group and the abnormal oral restoration behavior group(respectively:(14.872±7.313),(14.565±2.914) ; LSD-t=-0.696,P＜0.01).The differences in corrected average scores between the needless oral restoration behavior group and the perfect oral restoration behavior group also showed no statistical significance (respectively:(22.848± 8.068),(23.056± 4.772) ; LSD-t =-0.340,P =0.734).Conclusion Well-being of the elderly may be associated with number of FNT and oral restoration behaviors.

Objective:To explore the postoperative complications of different incisions of parotidectomy in benign parotid tumor and the impact on life quality.Methods:62 patients with benign parotid ttmor underwent improved parotidectomy in our hospital from January 2010 to January 2015 were selected and randomly divided into group A and group B.The patients in group A were using improved S incision,and the patients in group B were using postauricular concealing incision.Then the perioperative indexes,complications after surgery and the influences to life quality of 2 groups were observed and compared.Results:The surgery time,blood loss,postoperative suction drainage and hospital stays of 2 groups had no great differences (P＞0.05).The early and forward complication rate of group A was 29.03 ％ and 25.81％ respectively,of group B was 19.35 ％ and 12.90 ％ respectively.There were no differences between them (P＞0.05).The scores of pain and emotion after surgery of group A were getting better,and appearance,smell and chewing function was getting worse than before surgery with statistically significance (P＜0.05).The scores of pain and emotion after surgery of group B were getting better than before (P＜0.05).The scores of appearance and emotion of group A were worse than those of group B with statistically significance (P＜0.05).Conclusions:Using postauricular concealing incision can obtain good life quality and safety for the patients with benign parotid tumor,which is superior to improved S incision,worthy of clinical applications.

Objective To explore the effect of spinal decompression system on lumbar disc herniation. Methods 83 patients of lumbar disc herniation were divided into observation group (n=42) and control group (n=41). Both groups received massage therapy, while the observation group was treated with spinal decompression system in addition. The effect was evaluated with Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Japanese Orthopedic Association (JOA) assessment of low back pain. Results The VAS score decreased and the JOA score increased in both groups after treatment (P<0.05), and it was better in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.01). Conclusion Spinal decompression system could improve the therapeutic effect on lumbar disc herniation.

Objective To investigate the distribution of human papillomavirus (HPV) genotypes in male patients with anogenital warts in Lishui area,Zhejiang province.Methods Tissue specimens were obtained from the lesions of 150 male patients with anogenital warts.PCR-reverse dot blot hybridization was performed to detect the presence of 3 low-risk HPV types (HPV 6,11,and 43) and 16 moderate-or high-risk HPV types (HPV 16,18,31,33,35,39,45,51,52,53,56,58,59,66,68 and CP8304) in these specimens.Chi-square test was used for statistical analysis.Results HPV was detected in 91 (60.67％) of the 150 male patients.Of the 91 positive patients,74 (81.32％) were infected by single or multiple low-risk HPV types,whereas 17 (18.68％) by single or multiple high-risk HPV types.Thirty-one (34.07％) patients harbored 2-5 HPV genotypes,including 20 (64.52％)patients infected with both low-risk and high-risk HPV types,and 6 (19.35％) patients infected with two low-risk HPV types.The coexistence of moderate-or high-risk HPV types with HPV 6 was observed in 13 (41.94％)patients,and that with HPV 11 in 6 (19.35％) patients.The most prevalent genotype was HPV 6 (28.68％,39/136),followed by HPV 11 (26.47％,36/136),16 (8.09％,11/136),52 (5.15％,7/136),53 (5.15％,7/136),51 (4.41％,6/136),58 (4.41％,6/136) and 43 (4.41％,6/136).Conclusions Low-risk HPV genotypes predominate in male patients with anogenital warts,and there are large differences in the distribution of multiple infections and HPV genotypes.

Objective To explore the relationship between the endovascular aortic repair (EVAR)in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA) and postoperative systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS).Methods In this study,93 AAA patients undergoing EVAR were enrolled.Analysis was performed to evaluate the incidence of SIRS during peri-operation period.Logistic multiple regression analysis was performed to determine the parameters predicting SIRS.Results The incidence of SIRS was 58.1％.Aneurysm size,mural thrombus,iliac artery lesion,number of stent,operating time,volume of contrast agent,blood loss and length of stay were all significantly correlated with SIRS (P ＜ 0.05).In a logistic regression model,history of kidney disease or operation,aneurysm size,ruptured aneurysm and number of stents were strongly and independently associated with SIRS.Conclusions SIRS is common in AAA patients after EVAR.Optimizing treatment strategies avoiding risk factors for SIRS benefits AAA patients.

Objective To provide the objective evidence for reducing stat test turnaround time (TAT) reasonably through the comparative analysis of different intervals of stat test TAT between emergency department (ED) and intensive care unit (ICU ) . Methods Laboratory information system was used to collect data about blood cell analysis and biochemical profiles of department of emergency and ICU from 1st January to 31th March ,2014 ,then comparatively analyzing different intervals of stat test TAT be‐tween two departments .Results TAT outlier rates of stat CBC tests ordered by ED and ICU were 2 .4% and 15 .1% ,and that of stat biochemical profiles ordered by ED and ICU were 12 .3% and 24 .5% ,respectively .there were no significant differences in mean times between order‐to‐receipt of stat CBC tests and biochemical profiles ordered by ED and collection‐to‐receipt of stat CBC tests and biochemical profiles ordered by ICU [(11 .2 ± 4 .0) min vs .(11 .2 ± 4 .5) min ,P>0 .05 ;(13 .2 ± 14 .1)min vs .(13 .8 ± 9 .8) min ,P>0 .05] .ED had significantly shorter mean time of receipt‐to‐report than ICU for stat CBC tests and biochemical profile [(5 .8 ± 4 .4) min vs .(19 .3 ± 12 .5) min ,P<0 .01 ;(34 .4 ± 10 .9) min vs .(35 .5 ± 13 .2) min ,P>0 .01] .The TAT mean times of stat CBC tests and biochemical profiles ordered by ED were shorter than those ordered by ICU [(17 .0 ± 6 .2) min vs .(30 .5 ± 14 .9) min ,P<0 .01 ;(46 .9 ± 17 .2) min vs .(49 .3 ± 16 .5) min ,P<0 .01] .Conclusion The ED TATs for CBC tests and biochemical pro‐files are reasonably set ,and each interval of the ED TATs is well controlled .The ICU TATs for CBCs and biochemical profiles should be reset ,and the process of stat test for ICU should be optimized .
