Objective To study the effects of hypoxia on adhesion and migration of ovarian carcinoma cell line Caov-3 in vitro. Methods The ovarian carcinoma cell Caov-3 was cultured under normoxic condition or in hypoxic condition. In vitro adhesion of Caov-3 on extracellular matrix fibronectin and matrigel was detected using MTT colorimetric assay. In vitro migration of Caov-3 on extracellular matrix matrigel was assayed with cellular migration test. Results In vitro cell adhesion experiment showed that, compared with the control cells, hypoxia increased cell adhesion to extracellular matrix matrigel and fibronectin by 17.1% and 15.2%, respectively. There were significant differences between the normal conditions and hypoxia (P
2.Investigation and analysis of the sources of pressure for nurses during the prevalence of SARS
Chinese Journal of Hospital Administration 1996;0(02):-
Objective To provide basis for the formulation of policies and measures that will reduce the work pressure on nurses and to provide them with a better working environment. Methods An investigation was made via questionnaires into 942 nurses working in designated SARS hospitals and a comprehensive analysis was conducted by means of multivariant stepwise regression. Results The major factors affecting the pressure on nurses include: lack of support from and communications with families, arduousness of tasks to an unbearable point, extreme strictness in management, and unsoundness of treatment and living conditions. Conclusion Good communications with families are of great significance to nurses working in isolated areas. It is imperative to rationally allocate the human resources of nurses, show more concern for them, encourage them to participate in management, and strengthen scientific prevention so as to create a better working environment.

Objective To investigate multiparametric immunophenotypic features in patients with acute myelocytic leukemia(AML)-M_2 bearing AML-1/ETO gene rearrangements and its predicting value. Methods A multiparametric flow cytometry was used in the study of phenotypic characterization of the subtype of AML.Immunophenotype of 30 patients with AML(M_2/ETO~+)was analyzed by fluorescence in situ hybridization(FISH).The results were compared with 36 patients of AML-M_2 with AML-1/ETO~- (M_2/ETO~-)and 34 acute promyelocytic leukemia(APL)patients. Results There were a population. 15.89%-68.53% the blast cell and a population of more differentiated and heterogeneous myeloid cells in the marrow of 30 patients with M_2/ETO~+.The blast cells had a myeloid phenotype(CD_(33),CD_(13)and MPO) and showed a characteristic pattern of antigen expression. The fluorescent intensity of CD_(33)in patients with M_2/ETO~+ was less than in patients with M_2/ETO~-and APL [ mean fluorescent intensity(MFI):98?75 v. 244?184 and 845?523,both P

Objective To establish virtual three-dimensional instrument and cerebral aneurysm models by using three-dimensional moulding software, and to explore the effect of the models in interventional preoperative simulation. Methods The virtual individual models including cerebral arteries and aneurysms were established by using the three-dimensional moulding software of 3D Studio MAX R3 based on standard virtual cerebral aneurysm models and individual DSA image. The virtual catheter, guide wire, stent and coil were also established. The study of interventional preoperative simulation was run in personal computer, and included 3 clinical cases. Results The simulation results of the working angle and the moulding angle of the head of catheter and guide wire in 3 cases were identical with that of operation results. The simulation results of the requirement of number and size of coil in 1 case of anterior communicating aneurysm and 1 case of posterior communicating aneurysm were identical with that of operation results. The simulation results of coil for aneurysmal shape in 1 case of giant internal carotid artery aneurysm were more than 2 three-dimensional coils with size of 3mm?3 cm from the operation results, and the position of the second coil in aneurysmal neck was adjusted according to the results of real-time simulation. The results of retrospective simulation of operation procedure indicated that the simulation methods for regular and small aneurysms could become a routine simulation means but more simulation experience was needed to build up for the giant aneurysms. Conclusions The virtual three-dimensional instrument and cerebral aneurysm models established by the general software provided a new study method for neuro-interventional preoperative simulation, and it played an important guidance role in developing neuro- interventional operation.

Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2006;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the prevalence rate of complications in children with cerebral palsy (CP).Methods 80 CP children were recruited.Their parents were interviewed for high risk factors and feeding his- tory. Each case was assessed neurologically for type of CP and diagnosed for complications. And all cases were detect- ed by magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)of the brain. Results Among 80 patients,60 cases(75%)suffered from complications, the majority patients had difficulty in taking in food, intelligence retardation, hearing impediment and vision impediment. The prevalence rate of complications with mixed CP was 85 %.MRI abnormalities of the brain were accounted for 74.5 % and periventrieular leakomalacia(PVL)was more common(45.1%).Conclusion This study suggested timely rehabiliatation and interventions must be started to significantly improve the levels of intelli- gence. And the epilepsy and nonepileptic events must be identified to avoid mistakes in diagnosis.

Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2008;23(4):276-278
Objective To investigate the effect of radical surgical excision of total cyst for hepatic cystic echinoccosis. Methods During six years,86 patients with hepatic cystic echinococcosis were treated by radical surgical excision of the total cyst.Hospital stay, abdominal drainage time, residual cavity drainage, accumulated liquid in residual cavity, residual cavity infection and recurrence were compared with that in 90 cases receiving internal capsule extirpation. Results Radical surgical excision of total cyst for hepatic cystic echinococcosis is safe and very effective, the average hospital stay was significant shorter(P<0.001)and there was no significant complications such as billiay fistula, residual cavity infection, accumulated liquid of residual cavity and recurrence of hydatid cyst. Conclusion Radical surgical excision of total cyst is an ideal and new therapeutic method for the treatment of hepatic cystic eehinococcosis.

Objective:To understand the anxiety and depression status of junior standardized training nurses and its influencing factors,to explore the humanistic care strategies for anxiety and depression, and thus to provide the basis for improving the psychological state of the nurses and the content of standardized training.Methods:Across-sectional questionnaire survey were conducted among 161 standardized training nurses in one Three-A hospital using Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS) and Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS).Results:The positive rate of depression and anxiety in 161 standardized training nurses were 51.60% and 34.70%,respectively.The coarse average scores of depression and anxiety were (39.73 ± 8.55) and (37.21 ± 8.64),respectively,which were higher than Chinese norm (33.46 ± 8.55) and (29.78 ± 6.46) (P < 0.05).Family burden, clinical profes-sional knowledge and skills and work environment had influences on depression;family burden and the differences of rotation departments had influences on anxiety. Conclusion:The formulation of content of standardized train-ing should consider the different characteristics of rotation department. We should create a good working atmo-spherefor standardized training nurses, improve the training of professional knowledge and skills on the basis of paying attention to humanistic care, strengthen the training of psychological quality and psychological counseling.
