Objective:To study on the law of application of drugs in complex prescriptions of Chinese herbs for treatment of hypertension. Methods:The author read 1 102 papers about treatment of hypertension from 1980 to 2003,collected 1 191 complex prescriptions of Chinese herhs,established Access database of complex prescription of Chinese drugs for treatment of hypertension,and analyzed the law of application of drugs in complex prescription of Chinese herbs for treatment of hypertension by combination of Access, Excel with VB programming based on the database.Results:In the 1 191 complex prescriptions of Chinese herbs,394 herbs were used 11 371 times.Among them,the drugs for reinforcing deficiency,clearing heat,calming the liver to stop the wind,and activating blood stasis and removing blood stasis are main.192 pairs of drugs were used over 50 times,with 21 traditional drug pairs of Chinese medicine,and combination principles of the first 10 pairs with the highest application frequency were analyzed by TCM combination theory.And there were 30 drug groups which were used for over 50 times,and prescription composition principles of the first 10 groups with the highest application times were analyzed by TCM composition theory.Conclusion:Large- scale data process with computer is an effective method for finding the law of application of drugs in Chinese complex prescriptions for treatment of hypertension.

Objective To discover the risk factors of acute renal insufficiency(ARI) in perioperative of non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC).Methods We took a retrospective study to analysis and summarize the clinical features of 33 ARI cases and 721 controls,all subjects were histopathologically confirmed NSCLC from January 2007 to October 2013.Logistic regression analysis was conducted to analyze the association between the risk factors and ARI.Results There were significant differences between the two groups in operation age,level of preoperative creatinine,preoperative rehydration and the use of plasma substitutes.After adjustment by confounding factors,operation age older than 60 years old and the use of plasma substitutes had higher risk of ARI [adjusted OR was 2.93 (1.30-6.62),95 ％ CI was 6.04 (1.41-25.87),respectively].Preoperative rehydration was protective factor of ARI(adjusted OR was 0.37,95％ CI was 0.17-0.83).Conclusion Operation age (≥ 60 years old) and the use of blood substitutes are independent risk factors of ARI,while preoperative rehydration can reduce the incidence of ARI after surgery.

Objective To investigate methods and clinical effects of limited open reduction of ankle articular surface and locking compression plate (LCP) placement using minimally invasive plate osteosynthesis (MIPO) in managing tibial Pilon fractures.Methods Twenty-one patients with tibial Pilon fractures treated between August 2009 and August 2011 were involved in the study,including 16 males and 5 females,at age of 21-68 years (average 42.3 years).According to AO/OTA classification,12 patients were with type 43B fractures and nine with type 43C fractures.There were two patients with open fractures (both Gustilo-Anderson type Ⅰ fractures).Limited open reduction of ankle articular surface plus LCP placement using MIPO were performed.Early functional training without weight-bearing was carried out postoperatively.Results Nineteen patients were followed up for 12-24 months (average 14 months).According to Burwell-Chamley' s radiological evaluation system,17 patients obtained anatomical reduction of articular surface and two patients obtained moderate reduction,but they all had bony healing.Ankle function evaluated by Mazur' s criterion were excellent in seven patients,good in 10 and fair in two,with excellence rate of 89％.Conclusion Limited open reduction combined with LCP internal fixation can successfully construct articular anatomic relationship,decrease soft tissue dissection and attain solid fixation in treatment of Pilon fractures and further facilitate functional recovery of the affected extremity in coordination with early functional exercise.

Objective To quantitatively analysis the aortic valve leaf anatomical characteristics in aortic regurgitation(AR) patients by real-time three-dimensional transesophageal echocardiography (RT-3D-TEE),and screening the parameters which significantly affect AR to further reveal the mechanism of AR.Methods 32 patients with AR were enrolled as AR group and 20 cases of non-AR people were involved as control group.RT-3D-TEE was using to collect images in two groups and offline analysis was performed.4 sets of parameters of the aortic valves(left coronary valve,right coronary valve,and non-coronary valve):leaflet edge length(LL,RL,NL),leaflet height (LH,RH,N H),leaflet length/height ratio (LRa,RRa,NRa),leaflet tip plane distance(LTH,RTH,NTH) were acquired.Parameters of two groups were compared,and the parameters were incorporated into the logistic regression model,then the ROC curves were obtained.Results ①Compared with the control group,LL,RL,NL,RH,LRa,NRa,RRa in AR group increased (P ＜ 0.05),while the rest parameters had no statistical differences (P ＞0.05).②Multivariable logistic regression model gradually screening of the significant factors influencing the reflux,and as a result RL and RTH had significant influence on AR,P values were 0.001,0.011.③The ROC curve analysis showed that the area of RL or RTH curve were both greater than 0.5,which were 0.811 and 0.605 respectively.Conclusions The free edge length and free edge length/height ratio have changed unbalanced.Furthermore,right coronary valve parameters changed significantly,and this might be one of the possible mechanism of AR.

Objective To explore the molecular mechanisms of primary amenorrhea by using arrayCGH technology. Methods Ten patients with primary amenorrhea and 10 female volunteers with regular menstrual cycles as healthy controls were selected. All patients and control samples were analyzed by conventional chromosome analysis (G-banding technology) and array-CGH technology, respectively. ArrayCGH was performed using Affymetrix Cytogenetic 2. 7M arrays following the manufacturer's standard protocol. Results Both the patient group and control group analyzed by conventional G-banding karyotype technology showed a negative result with a normal female karyotype: 46, XX. The result of array-CGH analysis demonstrated a microdeletion of approximately 110 000 bp located at the end of the short arm of X chromosome [46, X, del (X) (p22. 33 )] were identified in 5 patients, which was not detected in the control group. All healthy control samples by array-CGH analysis showed no pathological DNA copy number variation. Conclusions Array-CGH technology can improve the diagnosis rate of chromosomal disease at the DNA level. It is necessary to provide array-CGH for higher resolution genetic analysis of idiopathic primary amenorrhea patient who can not be identified by conventional technology.

Objective To study the effects of IL-4 in prostate cancer cells glycometabolism and proliferation. Methods We used IL-4 to treat PC3 cells, then tested the changes of LDH-A expression by RT-qPCR, Western Blot, CCK-8 and lactate production assay. Results Our data showed that IL-4 induced LDH-A up-expression in PC3 cells at mRNA and protein levels. Also, IL-4 promoted the proliferation activation and increased lactate production in PC3 cells. Conclusion IL-4 can strengthen the proliferation activation in PC3 cells by up-regulating LDH-A expression.

Objective To explore the feasibility of mechanical chest compression to establish a rat model of car?diopulmonary resuscitation ( CPR) . Methods 4?month old healthy male Sprague Dawley rats were randomly divided into control group ( n=6 ) and model group ( n=10 ) . After induction of anaesthesia with 10% chloraldurate ( 3 ml/kg, i. p. ) , tracheal intubation and left femoral artery cannulation were performed. Under electrocardiographic and artery blood pressure monitoring, tracheal obstruction ( TO) was performed to rats in model group. At 2 min after the cardiac arrest ( CA) occurred, CPRs were administered to the rats using a self?made animal chest compressor, which provided chest?com?pression at a rate of 200 bpm. Results Shortly after TO, rats in the model group had respiratory arrest, cyanosis and ar?rhythmia. Electrocardiography indicated that CA occurred within 4-5 min, with a decreased artery systolic blood pressure ( <40 mmHg) and a zero pulse pressure. Return of spontaneous circulation ( ROSC) after the CPR was successfully a?chieved in 8 rats (80%), with a transient reperfusion arrhythmia. Finally, 60% of the rats (n=6) recovered to con?sciousness and survived for 24 hrs. The serum biochemical analysis indicated that there were electrolyte disturbances, aci?dosis, impaired renal functions and increased myocardial enzyme spectrum. Pathological examination revealed cardiac rhab? domyolysis, no?reflow phenomenon in renal glomeruli, decrease of neurons and pulmonary congestion in the model group rats. Conclusions Mechanical chest compression can provide minimal cardiac output for the requirement of CPR incardiac arrestin rats. It is feasible to establish rat CPR model with the mechanical chest compression.

Objective To evaluate the application and initial experience of laparoscopy in kidneypreserving surgery for savage giant hydronephrosis. Methods This series included 6 cases of savage gianthydronephrosis (2 men and 4 women;age range,15 -57 years;mean age,28 years).Of them 5 cases weredetected when visiting doctors due to flank pain,abdominal mass,and the rest one by B-ultrasound duringpregnancy.Four cases had hydronephrosis on the left;and 2 cases,on the right.The quantity of hydronephro-sis was 2250 -8300 ml,respectively.None had development on IVU examination.Of them,3 cases had con-genital ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction;2 had multiple stones in infracalices secondary to UPJ ob-struction;1 had stones in pelvis with polyp formation.Relieving obstruction,pyeloplasty,nephroplication andnephropexy were performed via laparoscope. Results All the operations were successful.The operativetime was 2.5 -5.0 h;the blood loss was 50 -150 ml,and the mean postoperative hospital stay was 7.2 d.The postoperative follow-up ranged from 3 to 24 months. Three months after operation,B-ultrasound showedthat giant hydronephrosis was markedly relieved in 5 cases (the renal sinus separation was 1.8 m,2.0 cm,2.5 cm,2.5 cm and 2.8cm,respectively),and in the rest 1 case the kidney was slightly smaller than nor-mal.IVU examination was performed every 3 months after operation, and different degrees of developmentappeared in all cases.During the follow-up,no obvious ureteropelvic anastomotic stricture was found on retro-grade pyelography (RGP). Conclusions The protective renal treatment via laparoscopy for savage gianthydronephrosis is a feasible and minimally invasive technique that provides the same clinical and radiograph-ic results as open operation.
