5.Research progress of Bruton tyrosine kinase in B cell malignances
Journal of Leukemia & Lymphoma 2014;23(6):378-380
Bruton tyrosine kinase (Btk) is a member of the non-receptor protein tyrosine kinases of Tec family. It plays an important role in growth, proliferation, differentiation and signal transduction of B lymphocyte. After activation of B-cell receptor (BCR) by diverse stimuli,Btk is activated through tyrosine phosphorylation.Activated Btk can stimulate several downstream signaling proteins.Btk and BCR signaling pathways play important roles in initiation and maintenance of B cell malignancies. This review focuses on the recent findings in association of Btk and B cell malignancies.
6.Research of correlative factors between the ultrasonography of trauma-caused deep venous free-floating ;thrombus of lower limbs and the prognosis
Chinese Journal of Ultrasonography 2015;(6):496-499
Objective To analyze the color Doppler ultrasonography of trauma-caused deep venous free-floating thrombus(FFT)of lower limbs, discuss the relations between sonography and the prognosis. Methods Clinical data and color Doppler ultrasound examination results of 130 cases with trauma-caused deep venous FFT of lower limbs were retrospectively analysed.Univariate analysis was conducted to identify the statistically significant factors of patients' prognosis,non-conditional logistic regression analysis was performed to analyse the independent prognostic factors of FFT.Results The non-conditional logistic regression analysis showed that the position of FFT,thrombosis edge definition, floating degree and the volume of detouring blood around the thrombus were independent factors of patients'prognosis(P <0.05). The FFT prognosis of iliofemoral vein was more likely to be fixed than the FFT prognosis of popliteal vein. The FFT prognosis with blurring edges was more likely to be fixed. The more obvious the floating degree of FFT,the higher chance that the FFT prognosis is recanalized.More detouring blood flow around FFT indicated more possibilities that the prognosis could be recanalized. Conclusions The color Doppler ultrasound is able to evaluate the relations between the deep venous free-floating thrombus of lower limbs and prognosis of the patients, which is beneficial for early detection and early treatment,as well as reducing mortality and disability resulted from deep venous thrombus during the orthopaedic perioperative period.
7.Determination of Metal Ions in Environmental Samples by Matrix-Assisted Microwave Induced Plasma Surface Sampling Atomic Emission Spectrometry
Chinese Journal of Analytical Chemistry 2015;(9):1306-1312
A novel method for the determination of metallic elements in environmental samples was developed based on the matrix-assisted plasma surface sampling atomic emission spectrometry ( AES system) . A piece of filter paper was used as sample substrate. By direct interaction of the plasma tail plume with the filter paper surface, the filter paper absorbed energy from the plasma source and released combustion heating to the analytes originally present on its surface, thus to promote the atomization and excitation process. Surface sampling was performed in both cases of liquid and solid state analytes. Therefore, no flow injection system was required and sample pretreatment process was simplified. The proposed method provides several advantages, including fast analysis speed ( about 240 samples/h ) , little sample consumption (μL or μg level) , simplicity in instrument design, and also ease of system operation. These advantages made it attractive as a potential miniaturized AES system for in situ and high-throughput elemental analyses. Quantitative analysis of metal ions were achieved in this study for elements Ag, Au, Ba, Cd, Cr, Cu, Eu, La, Mn, Ni, Pb, Sr and Y. Under optimal conditions, the LOD values of the 13 elements ranged from 1. 0 to 88 μg/L. The repeatability, expressed as relative standard deviation ( RSD) from 10 replicates, ranged from 2. 3% to 6. 8%. To validate the proposed method, the system was employed to determine metal elements in standard reference materials of environmental samples. The content of each element was well in agreement with the certified values.
8.Progress in research of endocrine abnormalities in Turner syndrome
Journal of Clinical Pediatrics 2013;(12):1101-1103
Turner syndrome (TS) is the result of complete or partial deletion of an X chromosome. It is often associated with endocrine dysfunction such as thyroid dysfunction, growth and developmental disorders, glucose and lipid metabolism disor-ders, and so on. Long-term follow-up of children with TS should regularly monitor thyroid autoantibodies, thyroid function, blood glucose and blood lipids for early detection and intervention of the complications, in order to further improve the life quality of children with TS.
