1.Quality standard for Duhuo Jisheng Mixturae
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(09):-
AIM: To establish the quality standard for Duhuo Jisheng Mixture (Radix Angelicae Pubescentis, Herba Taxilli, Cortex Fraxini, etc.) METHODS: Herbs in Duhuo Jisheng Mixture were identified by TLC, and osthol content was determined by TLCS. RESULTS: Rhizoma Chuanxiong; Radix Angelicae Sinensis; Radix Saposhnikoviae; Radix Gentianae Macrophyllae; Cortex Eucommiae; Herba Asari; Radix Paeoniae Alba could be determined. Osthol showed a good linear relationship at a range of 0.466 - 3.600 ?g,r= 0.999 2 . The average recovery was 95.4% . CONCLUSION:The methods are available with a reproducibility and can control the quality of this mixture.
2.Investigation and Analysis of Availability and Affordability of Essential Medicine in Nanjing Based on WHO/HAI Standard Survey Method
China Pharmacy 2015;(30):4188-4191,4192
OBJECTIVE:To understand the availability and affordability of essential medicines in Nanjing after implementing national essential medicine system, and to provide evidence for formulating and completing related policy. METHODS:With inves-tigation subjects of 6 classes of diseases with high incidence,WHO/HAI standard survey method was adopted to select 24 essential medicines and investigate and evaluate the availability and affordability of them in governmental health institutions and social retail pharmacies in Nanjing. RESULTS:Availability of essential medicines in community health service centers in Nanjing was lower than governmental hospitals and social retail pharmacies, and availability of lowest price generic drugs (LPGs) was much higher than original brand drugs (OBs);affordability was totally good, however, there were large gap in the affordability between OBs and LPGs,the affordability of OBs was relatively poor. CONCLUSIONS:The national essential medicine system has made some progress in Nanjing, but worse than expected. It is suggested to update and adjust the essential medicine list based on the clinical medication requirement, guarantee the equipment of essential medicines in medical and health institutions, popularize the knowl-edge about essential medicines, properly adjust the price of original brand drugs and ease the treatment burden.
3.Limit test for aristolochic acid in Herba Asari by HPLC
Chinese Traditional Patent Medicine 1992;0(06):-
AIM:To study the detection limits of aristolochic acid in Herba Asari preparation by HPLC. METHODS: Whether Asarum hetertropoides Fr.Schmidt ver.Mandshuricum(Maxim.) Kitag contained aristolochic acid A or not by HPLC and MS,and the difference in the reference substance and the sample solution was compared. RESULTS: Aristolochic acid A could not be found in A.hetertropoides Fr.Schmidt ver.Mandshuricum(Maxim.)Kitag by HPLC,but be found by MS. CONCLUSION:A.hetertropoides Fr.Schmidt ver.Mandshuricum (Maxim.)Kitag contained trace aristolochic acid, but it is difficult to measure aristolochic acid in Herba Asari by HPLC.The baseline noise of the sample solution can interfere with the detection limit of the trace compound compound
4.Progress in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation for solid tumor
Journal of International Oncology 2008;35(11):823-826
At present, the main treatment methods of solid tumor are radiotherapy and ehemotherapy.Traditional radiotherapy and chemotherapy have certain limitations because of resistance and toxicity.High dose chemoradiotherpy with hematopoietie stem cell transplantation(HSCT)support can reduce resistance and toxicity, enhance the effectiveness of treatment. But there are still high relapse rate after transplantation and short survival period. How to strengthen the following treatment is worth of further study. This review will focus on the feasibility, treatment time, therapeutic effect and research advancement of HSCT for solid tumor.
5.Effects of Pine Pollen on Expression of p16 and p21 in Human Embryonic Lung Diploid Fibroblasts
Journal of Zhejiang Chinese Medical University 2007;0(01):-
[Objective] To observe the effects of pine pollen on the changes of p16INK4a and p21WAF1 in 2BS cells.[Method]The 2BS cells were cultured from 28 population doubling(PD)and divided equally into the young control group, old control group,middle-dose pine pollen group(120mg/dl)and high-dose pine pollen group(240mg/dl)randomly.Regulate the phases of cell cycle by flow cytometry, and then the expression of p16INK4a,p21WAF1 mRNA were determined by semi-quantitative RT-PCR.[Result]The amount of cells in G1 phase was depressed in middle-dose pine pollen group(72.73%?1.76%)and high-dose pine pollen group(64.15%?0.87%)than in old control group(81.33%?3.43%)noticeablely(P
6.MicroRNA in platinum-resistance of ovarian cancer
Journal of International Oncology 2011;38(5):384-386
MircoRNAs (miRNAs) are widely existing inorganisms, non-coding small RNA. MircoR-NAs play important role in cell proliferation, apoptosis, stress resistance and fat metabolism. In vitro studies indicate that miRNAs are important factors in platinum resistance of ovarian cancer cell lines. However, the pathway of platinum resistance of ovarian cancers is complex. Studies find miRNA expression play important roles in the sensitivity of platinum resistance of ovarian cancer cell lines , and can be used as an early alert for platinum resistance. Changing the expression of miRNA even can reverse the platinum resistance . But the regular role of miRNAs in target genes network is still unconfirmed. Thus, more studies about miRNA in vivo and animal tumor models are needed to identify the function of miRNAs in platinum resistance of ovarian cancer.
7.The expression and clinical signification of tM2-PK in colorectal cancer
Acta Universitatis Medicinalis Anhui 2014;(2):236-239
Objective To investigate the expression and clinical signification of tumor M2 pyruvate kinase in pa-tients with CRC, and to try to find a reliable and atraumatic method to predict the progress and pronosis in the CRC. Methods ELISA method was used to determine the serum levels of tM2-PK in 68 patients with CRC,40 pa-tients with colorectal polyps and 40 cases of normal subjects; immunohistochemistry ( IHC ) methods were respec-tively used to detect the expression of tM2-PK in tissues. Results ① The level of serum tM2-PK in patients with CRC was significantly higher than the group of patients with polyps and the normal subjects ( P<0.05 ) . The serum tM2-PK levels was closely correlated to tumor size and Duke stage.②The positive rate of tissue tM2-PK was signif-icantly higher in CRC than in colorectal polyps and normal subjects ( P<0.05 ) . Tissue tM2-PK levels was closely correlated to tumor size,Duke stage and differentiation grade. ③Serum tM2-PK levels was correlated to tissue tM2-PK levels (r=0.357,P=0.003). Conclusion Combined detection of expression of tM2-PK can provide the basis theory for the diagnosis and prognosis evaluation of CRC.
