OBJECTIVE:To evaluate the efficacy and safety of hydrochloric fasudil(administered at different time after onset)for acute cerebral infarction(ACI).METHODS:90 patients developed ACI within 72 h were randomly divided into trial group and control group of 45 each.The trial group was subdivided into trial group 1(developed ACI within 24 h)and trial group 2(developed ACI for more than 24 h).The control group received Compound Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae injection for 15 days while the trial groups received Fasudil Hydrochloride for 15 days.Improvement of neurological function was evaluated using China Stroke Scales(CSS).RESULTS:The CSS of trial group 1 and trial group 2 was significantly decreased as compared with that of control group,and the CSS in trial group 1 was markedly decreased than in trial group 2,all showing significant differences(P

BACKGROUND: Insulin-like growth factor-1 (IGF-1) has important biological effects on the heart, it can promote cardiac and vascular smooth muscle growth and metabolism.OBJECTIVE: To summarize the biological effects of IGF-1, to clarify the mechanism of exercise-induced cardiac hypertrophy, and make better use of the exercise influence on IGF1 to achieve adaptive cardiac hypertrophy.METHODS: With exercise-induced cardiac hypertrophy, insulin-like growth factor, exercise in English for the search terms,Pubmed database from January 1990 to April 2009 was retrieved; With exercise-induced cardiac hypertrophy, insulin-like growth factor, exercise in Chinese for the search terms, CNKI database from January 1990 to April 2009 was searched. Literatures were limited to English and Chinese languages. Inclusive criteria: animal experimental study and clinical application research closely linked to IGF-1; exclusive criteria: the old literatures and Meta analysis.RESULTS AND CONCLUSION: Totally 41 literatures were screened out by computers, according to the inclusion and exclusion criteria; 31 documents of which were involved for analysis. The IGF coordinates with other growth factors to promote differentiations and maturity of a variety of cells. The current data indicate that the blood serum and the cardiac local IGF-1 play an important role on cardiac hypertrophy. This study used the method of literature to analyze the production and action mechanism of the circulatory and cardiac IGF, discuss the functions of cardiac local IGF and the effect of exercise on it, and bring forward that exercise can alter the IGF expressions, IGF is related to the formation of exercise-induced cardiac hypertrophy.

Objective To determine the change of maternal heart rate during the treatment with ritodrine for threatened premature labor. Methods110 cases of threatened premature labor were chosen. The ritodrine 100mg in 5% G. S 500mL was intravenously administered. The initial dosage was 6 drops/min, and the dose was increased until uterine contractions were inhibited. The treatment lasted for 40 to 48 hours after the uterine contractions were inhibited, then the oral tablets was recommended. If necessary, repeated treatment was given to some patients. The maternal heart rate was recorded in the whole process of treatment and was compared with the dosage administered. The labor time, fetal weight and Apgar′s score were also analyzed. Results The maternal basic heart rate was increased at first and then decreased. The increasing significantly increased( P ＜ 0.01 ) when the uterine contraction was inhibited. , but no difference showed among the groups of different gestational age( P＞0.05 ). The maternal heart rate was increased with the increasing of ritodrine( max. 140/min). labor time was significantly prolonged with the treatment of ritodrine( P＜0.01 ) ,while that of the idiopathic premature labor was prolonged most obviously ( P ＜ 0.05 ). Average fetal weight was (2.42 ± 0.49) kg, and the average Apgar′s score was≥8. Conclusion In the treatment of inhibiting uterine contractions,the increasing of maternal heart rate caused by ritodrine can be used as an indicator of therapeutic effect.

OBJECTIVE:To explore the effects of Compound Ligusticum chuanxiong drop pill on hemorheology and blood gas in model rats with diabetic nephropathy(DN). METHODS:60 rats were randomly divided into normal control group,model group, positive control group [Irbesartan tablet,0.013 g/(kg·d)] and Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill high-dose,medium-dose,low-dose groups [0.4,0.2,0.1 g/(kg·d)],10 in each group. Except for normal control group,rats in other groups were given high-sugar high-fat feed and intraperitoneally injected streptozotocin to reduce DN model. After 7 d modeling,rats in each group received relat-ed drugs intragastrically,once a day,10 mL/kg;normal control group and model group received equal volume of purified water in-tragastrically. After 64 d,hemorheology indicators [whole blood viscosity(high-shear,medium-shear and low-shear),plasma viscosi-ty,whole blood reduced viscosity] and blood gas indicators(carbon dioxide partial pressure,oxygen partial pressure,hemoglobin content,oxygen saturation,ratio of oxygenated hemoglobin to total protein) of rats were determined,hematoxylin-eosin staining was used to observe the pathological changes in kidney tissue. RESULTS:Compared with normal control group,hemorheology indi-cators and carbon dioxide partial pressure in model group were significantly increased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),oxygen partial pres-sure,hemoglobin content,oxygen saturation,ratio of oxygenated hemoglobin to total protein were significantly decreased(P<0.05 or P<0.01),with severe kidney damage. Compared with model group,except the improvement of carbon dioxide partial pressure, oxygen partial pressure,hemoglobin content in rats were not significant in Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill low-dose group,the above-mentioned indicators in other medicine groups were significantly improved(P<0.05 or P<0.01);the kidney tissue damage was improved to varying degree. CONCLUSIONS:Compound L. chuanxiong drop pill can significantly improve the hemorheology indicators of DN model rats,reduce blood viscosity,improve microcirculation and capacity of the blood to transport oxygen,and has certain improvement effect on kidney tissue morphology of DN rats.

The present study describes systematically the ultrastructural changes of blood and some organs of rabbits, goats and rats with severe decompression sickness. In our experiment, the animals were exposed to pressure of 0.6 MPa and 1.0 MPa for 60 minutes respectively, to induce severe decompression sickness. The results are as follows: 1. Abnormality of platelets. The granules of platelets decreased and the platelet pseudopods were formed with adhesion and aggregation of platelets. 2. Deformation of erythrocytes. Triangle-like or shell-like cells, dacryocytes, twisted cells, and Ⅰ—Ⅲ type echinocytes were found. 3. Changes of endotheliocytes of the vascular wall became flattened. The space between these cells significantly widened (up to 4-18?m), and blood cells could be found to have wedged into it. 4. Formation of air-blood surface by the intravascular blood. 5. Alteration of organelies. There occured the expansion of rough endoplasmic reticulum, the degranulation and rupture of membranes, as well as the swelling and dissolution of mitochondria.

Objective To study the effect of caveolin-1 on renal injury and the expression of tight junction proteins in MRL/lpr mice kidney.Methods The mice were divided into 4 groups:5 mice in the normal control group (BALB/c mice);the MRL/lpr lupus mice (n=18) were randomly divided into the MRL/lpr group in which 6 mice were included;the negative control group in which 6 mice were included;the caveolin1 transfection group in which 6 mice were included.The changes of urine protein,the levels of urea (BUN) and creatinine (Cr) were detected.The expressions of claudin-5,occludin,ZO-1 and caveolin-1 protein were determined by western bloting.Analysis of variance was used to determine statistical significant differences between the two groups.A significance level of 0.05 was considered as signigicant.Results Compared with the control group,24 h urine protein [(2 894±437) mg,(412±72) mg],BUN [(8.7±1.5) mmol/L,(6.9±0.4) mmol/L],Cr [(106±22) μmol/L,(85±4) μmol/L] were significantly increased,level of caveolin-1 protein increased (265±17,61±6),the level of occludin (114±12,190±12),claudin-5 (60±5,80±6) and ZO-1 (98±11,206±15) protein decreased in the MRL/lpr group (P＜0.05).After caveolin-1 transfection,the levels of urinary protein [(1 253±249) mg,(2 894±437) mg],BUN [(6.5±1.3) mmol/L,(8.7±1.5) mmol/L],Cr [(78±17) μmol/L,(106±22)μmol/L] were significantly decreased,and the levels of occludin (218±16,114±12),claudin-5 (87±6,60±5)ZO-1 (313±17,98±11) were increased (P＜0.05).Conclusion The expression of caveolin-1 protein in the renal tissues of lupus nephritis increases.Caveolin-1 can reduce the expression of tight junction proteins and contribute to progres-sion of lupus nephritis.

Objective To study mechanism and relationship of acute lung injury that be complicated with severe acute pancreatitis(SAP).To analyze the chest imaging feature of X-ray and CT of SAP and improve the recognition of clinical value of diagnosis and prognosis.Methods Thirtynine SAP patients(17 male,22 female)age ranged from 26 to 64 of SAP that be diagnosed by clinic and CT were analysed retrospectively.All cases were checked by chest X-ray film and rechecked at least three times,of them chest CT were taken in 11 cases.Results Ascites was found in 34 cases,pleural effusion was found in 19 cases.Pulmonary edema sign of X-ray and CT was found in 16(41%) cases when SAP was diagnosed by pancreas CT.The sign was found in 24(61.5%) cases in 24 hours and in 37(94.9%)cases in 48 hours and all cases in 72 hours.In the 16 early pulmonary edema cases,There were pleural effusion in 11 and pericardiac effusion in one case,10 cases of them developed to acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS)and 7 cases died.Conclusion The chest imaging feature of SAP has important significance for early diagnosis of ARDS and prognosis of SAP,and can be served as a clinical indication of severe degree of SAP.

OBJECTIVE: To provide references for domestic drug manufacturing enterprises' participation in laboratory accreditation as well as the enhancing of drug analysis capability. METHODS: Both international and domestic laboratory-ratified standards, the importance of laboratory accreditation and drug manufacturing enterprises' participation in laboratory accreditation were expounded. RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS: Domestic drug manufacturing enterprises' participation in laboratory accreditation is conducive to the enhancing of their drug analysis capability.

OBJECTIVE:To provide references for Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises in developing commissioning manufacture of overseas drugs.METHODS:The registration system of medicine commissioning manufacture in China,Japan and other countries were compared.The current status of Chinese drugs commissioning manufacture and the feasibility for Chinese pharmaceutical enterprises to gain commissioning manufacture of overseas drugs were analyzed.RESULTS & CONCLUSIONS:Both the government and pharmaceutical enterprises in China should take advantage of the amendment of the pharmaceutical affairs Law in Japan to contribute to the development of commissioning manufacture of overseas drugs.

Objective To observe the changes of eosinophils (EOS) in peripheral blood in patients with acute myocardial infarction (AMI).To investingate the association of EOS in peripheral blood and acute myocardial infarction.Methods The single-centre study enrolled 50 acute myocardial infarction patients (23 cases were NSTEMI and 27 cases were STEMI) who were treated in Beijing Tiantan Hospital from January 2014 to July 2014.Fifty medical individuals who were randomly chosen from the same period of time.White blood cell counts,EOS counts and percentages, levels of Troponin Ⅰ of all individuals were determined.Compare White blood cell counts,EOS counts and percentages between two groups.Association of EOS in peripheral blood and Troponin Ⅰ in patients with acute myocardial infarction was evaluated by Pearson correlation.Results The levels of eosinophils counts ((0.02±0.01) × 109/L vs.(0.24±0.14) × 109/L) and percentages ((0.40±0.49) ％ vs.(1.25±0.54)％) in AMI patients were significantly lower than those in the control group (t =11.083, P＜0.01;t=8.242,P＜0.01).There was significant inverse correlation between EOS counts and percentage and levels of Troponin Ⅰ(r=-0.390,-0.387;P＜0.05).Conclusion Patients with acute myocardial infarction presented decreased eosinophils counts and percentages.EOS counts and percentage and levels of Troponin Ⅰ presented negative correlation.It was close relation of EOS and acute myocardial infarction.
