Objective: To discover and prevent diabetes early in high-risk group. Methods:Chose 323 records of type 2 diabetes or IFG,IGT patients with first course which come from a large hospital in Lanzhou between 2009 January to 2014 March; Use Apriori algorithm and the SPSS Clementine 12 software design;Set up prediction model of type 2 diabetes. Results:A total of 10 strong association rules are formed. The strong association rules contain some associations between factors and type 2 diabetes. Conclusion: Through the association rules, the initial judgment on the high-risk group of diabetes is simple and accurate.

Objective:To search for proteins interacting with ARA267-? with the yeast two-hybrid system in order to further investigate the function of ARA267-?. Methods:We screened a pretransformed human brain cDNA library with the pGBKT7-PHD-SET recombinant plasmid as a bait which express four PHD(plant homeodomain) and one SET[Su(var)3-9, Enhancer-of-zeste, Trithorax] conserved domains in ARA267-?.The plasmids in positive yeast clones were selectively identified by restriction analysis and DNA sequencing. The interactions were retested by yeast two-hybrid assay. Results: There were about six hundreds positive yeast clones on SD/-Ade/-His/-Leu/-Trp/2.5 mmol/L 3-AT/ X-?-Gal high-stringency selection plates. The pACT2-cDNA plasmids in sixty-five yeast clones were isolated and thirty-five cDNA inserts were sequenced. Sixteen different genes,including DR6(death receptor-6), PIAS3 (protein inhibitor of activated STAT3)and RanBPM(Ran-binding protein in the microtubule-organizing center), were identified after BLAST in GenBank. The yeast two-hybrid retest showed that all but RanBPM were true interactors of ARA267-?-PHD-SET. Conclusion: The ARA267-?-PHD-SET can interact with several distinct proteins. This suggests that ARA267-? is a protein having multiple functions. RanBPM might be a transcriptional factor.

Objective To explore the clinical metabolic characteristics and the blood glucose variability in the insulin resistance polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) patients.Methods Totally 69 cases of PCOS patients were divided into two groups:PCOS with insulin resistance (PCOS-IR) group and PCOS without insulin-resistance (PCOS-NIR) group.Their clinical and metabolic characteristics were analyzed,and continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) was used to monitor the glucose concentration of subcutaneous interstitial fluid to reflect the blood glucose level.Mean blood glucose level (MBG) and its standard deviation (SDBG),mean amplitude of glycemic excursion (MAGE),peak level of postprandial plasma glucose as well as its peaking time during a 48-hour period CGMS were calculated.Results MBG,SDBG,large amplitude of glycemic excursions (LAGE),MAGE level in PCOS-IR group,were significantly higher than those in PCOS-NIR (P ＜ 0.05).Body mass index (BMI),triglycerides,glycated hemoglobin Alc (HbAlc),fasting blood glucose (FBG),2 hours glucose,free androgen index (FAI) level in PCOS-IR group were higher than in PCOS-NIR group (P ＜ 0.01).The difference of total cholesterol,low-density lipoprotein,mean of daily difference (MODD) level were not statistically significant (P ＞ 0.05).Conclusions PCOS-IR patients suffer from more serious metabolic disorder and blood glucose variability.

Objective To analyze the fetus chromosome abnormalities in women with advanced maternal age under the universal two-child policy. Methods A total of 10607 women underwent prenatal diagnosis proce-dures from the year of 2015 to 2016,among which 3569 cases were with advanced maternal age. Cytogenetic karyotyping was conducted with chromosomal microarray analysis(CMA)in 854 cases. The ration of chromosome abnormalities in the two population groups(aged from 35~39 and over 40)were counted. The type of abnormali-ties were also analyzed. Results The ration of women with advanced maternal age in 10607 cases underwent pre-natal diagnosis between 2015 and 2016 was 33.6%. The respective rations were 27.2%and 37.9%. The detection rates of chromosome abnormalities were 7.9% and 10.8%,with significantly difference. The significant differences were also found in the detection rate of chromosome aneuploidies ,but no differences in other chromosome abnor- malities. CMA was benefit to detect the micro chromosome abnormalities. Conclusions In 2016,the number of prenatal diagnosis procedures increased under the two-child policy. The detection rate of chromosome abnormalities also significantly increased. The incidence of chromosome abnormalities was higher with the growing age of preg-nant women. Genetic counseling must be presented and prenatal diagnosis should be promoted in women with ad-vanced age.

BACKGROUND:Bone morphogenetic proteins are associated with the formation and development of scars. Fibroblasts are closely related to the proliferation and maturation of scars. However, the expression of bone morphogenetic proteins in fibroblasts in different stage of hypertrophic scars remains poorly understood.
OBJECTIVE:To observe the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2/4, bone morphogenetic protein 7, bone morphogenetic protein receptor IA in fibroblasts in different stage of hypertrophic scars.
METHODS:The immunohistochemical SP method was employed to detect the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2/4, bone morphogenetic protein 7, bone morphogenetic protein receptor IA in fibroblasts in 20 cases of proliferative stage hypertrophic scar and 20 cases of maturation stage hypertrophic scar. Al samples were obtained from the Department of Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery, the People’s Hospital of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China.
RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The expression of bone morphogenetic protein 2/4 in fibroblasts in proliferative hypertrophic scars significantly elevated compared with mature hypertrophic scars (P<0.05). In various stages of hypertrophic scars, the expression of bone morphogenetic protein 7 and bone morphogenetic protein receptor IA in fibroblasts was not obviously different (P>0.05).
