China Pharmacy 2015;(18):2452-2455
OBJECTIVE:To provide reference for promoting the priority use of essential medicines. METHODS:The use amount ratio of essential medicines in 2 third-level grade-A hospitals in Beijing from 2011 to 2013 was statistically investigated. And the literatures related to policies of essential medicines and application were retrieved for in-depth analysis. RESULTS:The use amount ratios of essential medicines in the outpatient and emergency departments in Beijing Hospital of Ministry of Health from 2011 to 2013 were respectively 24.04%,23.10% and 22.76%;and the use amount ratios of essential medicines of inpatients were respectively 16.56%,14.52% and 12.04%. The use amount ratios of essential medicines in the outpatient and emergency depart-ments in Beijing Friendship Hospital(a pilot hospitals of cancelling drug addition medical reform)in the 3 years were respectively 21.59%,19.85% and 22.93%;the use amount ratios of essential medicines of inpatients were respectively 17.70%,17.62% and 15.89%. The use amount ratios of essential medicines did not meet 25%-30% of the requirements. CONCLUSIONS:Cancelling the drug addition and adjusting the types and quantity of essential medicine list had no obvious effects on the use amount ratios of gen-eral third-level grade-A hospitals. It is suggested to promote the priority use of essential medicines by systems of medical insurance total amount prepayment, single disease payment or diagnosis related groups-based prepayment and the free policy of essential medi-cines,rather than administrative order.

AIM: To observe the morphologic characters and the expression of vimentin on human lens epithelial cells (hLECs)cultured on laminin and fibronectin.METHODS: The primarily and secondarily hLECs were cultured on plates treated with laminin or fibronectin. The feature of hLECS was observed and recorded using an inverse microscope with digital camera and statistical analysis was applied. MTT assay was used to show the growth curve of subcultured cells (the 3rd passage). Immunofluorescent staining was used to demonstrate the morphologic change in vimentin expression in the 3rd passaged hLECs.RESULTS: The hLECs in laminin or fibronectin group grew out significant earlier than the untreated group. The cells could be subcultured fluendly in those two treated groups, while only a few survival cells were found in the untreated group. But the hLECs could undergo apoptosis in laminin group at the terminal phase of their life cycle, while lentoid bodies emerged in fibronectin treated group. There were more viable cells in the fibronectin group from the 4th to the 7th day by MTT reaction. Immunofluorescent staining showed a clear morphological difference between the two groups.CONCLUSION: Laminin provide a suitable growth microenvironment for the hLECs while fibronectin promotes the cells proliferation and differentiation.

Journal of Practical Stomatology 2017;33(4):447-450
Objective:To evaluate the effects of 2 kinds of fiber posts with different optical conductivity on the polymerization of resin cement in deep root canal.Methods:16 human premolars with single root were decoronated and randomly divided into 2 groups(n=8),which were restored using fiber posts with and without optical conductivity(i-TFC optical fiber post and Panavia post) respectively.Fiber posts were luted with light-curing resin cement and light cured.3 dentin slabs with fiber posts located at cervical, middle and apical 1/3 were harvested from each root.Knoop microhardness(HK) of the resin cement in each slab was measured using microindentation and the relative curing rate (RCR) was also examined, data were submitted to two-way ANOVA.Results:As the depth in the canal increased, the HK and RCR of the resin cement was decreased in both groups. At the cervical and middle 1/3 HK and RCR were not statistically different between the 2 groups(P>0.05).At the apical 1/3 of the optical and Panavia group, the RCR of the resin cement was 69.89% and 50.05% (P<0.05),the HK was 33.25 ± 3.04 and 23.08 ± 5.93 (P<0.05),respectively.Conclusion:The optical fiber post is useful in promoting the polymerization of the resin cement in deep root canal.

OBJECTIVETo explore the effect of Shoutai Pill (STP) containing serum on bioactivity behaviors of trophoblast cells in spontaneous abortion (SA) patients such as cell proliferation, invasion, migration and secretion.
METHODSTrophoblast cells in artificial abortion in normal pregnancy and SA patients were isolated and cultured in vitro, which were then treated with STP containing serum at various concentrations (5%, 10%, 20%, respectively). Blank serum was taken as the normal control group and dydrogesterone containing serum as the dydrogesterone control group. The proliferation, cycle distribution, invasion and migration capacity, and beta human chorionic gonadotropin (p-HCG) level were detected by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTT) colorimetry, flow cytometry (FCM), Transwell experiments, and ELISA, respectively.
RESULTSCompared with the normal control group, the activity of cell proliferation obviously decreased, ratios of apoptotic cells (SubGO/G1) and G2/M phase were obviously elevated, S phase cell ratio was obviously reduced (all P < 0.05). Transwell experiments indicated invasion and migration capacity obviously decreased, secreted beta-HCG level were obviously reduced after 72-h intervention (P < 0.05). Compared with the SA group, the activity of cell proliferation obviously increased, ratios of apoptotic cells and G2/M phase were obviously reduced, S phase cell ratio was obviously elevated, invasion and migration capacity were obviously enhanced, secreted beta-HCG level were obviously elevated after 72-h intervention in the dydrogesterone control group and each STP containing serum group (all P < 0.05). The activity of trophoblastic cell proliferation, S phase cell ratio, invasion and migration capacity, and secreted beta-HCG level were strengthened along with increased STP containing serum. Besides, the effects of 20% STP containing serum group were significantly superior to those of the dydrogesterone control group (P < 0.05).
CONCLUSIONSTP containing serum could dose-dependently enhance the proliferative activity of trophoblastic cells, invasion and migration capacity, secretion of beta-HCG, and reduce the apoptosis of trophoblast cells, which might be one of mechanisms for STP preventing and treating SA.
