2.Research and outlook commentary on human function detection system reflecting the characteristics of TCM diagnosis and treatment

Theoretical studies of detection system of human body functions reflecting characteristics of Chinese medicine show that the three indicators of intake of the body from outside and the digestion and absorption of supply perunit time to ensure maximum quality,the energy consumed to maintain the five internal organs function perunit time and the dissipation of body storage perunit time will be able to fully reflect the changes in physiological and pathological status.Based on this theory,data obtained from the new understanding of the classification of the clinical symptoms in the characteristics of life as well as traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptoms,TCM symptoms unit and clinical symptoms attribute to TCM symptom information instrument detection.The human body function tests will be an extension of the TCM diagnostic methods,which will supplement the content of clinical symptoms and is expected to become a TCM therapeutic evaluation of quantitative detection methods.

This article was aimed to propose and develop traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) health engineering, using modern science and technology, in order to carry out the detection research which reflected TCM features of human functional state. It was an important way to achieve TCM diagnosis and the objective evaluation on therapeutic effects of TCM. The combination of TCM health engineering with information technology, and the formation of TCM functional state intelligent identification system, as well as the extension into the Health Internet of Things (HIT) could provide more accurate and convenient services for human healthcare in the age of big health. And identification on TCM syndromes was the core to achieve this goal. Using characterization data on TCM syndromes could realize the data processing between TCM syndrome and prescription through intelligent computing, in order to form the TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment intelligent system. It had great significance in the promotion of TCM health project.
4.Nursing of patients with nasal facial soft tissue defect treated with transplantation of free foot skin flap

ObjectiveTo summarize the nursing measures for patients with nasal facial soft tissue defect treated with transplantation of free foot skin flap.MethodThe clinical data of 13 patients with transplantation were reviewed to summarize the nursing measures.ResultAll skin flaps of the 13 patients survived.ConclusionEnough preoperative preparation,active psychological nursing and careful postoperative observation are critical for the success of the operation.
5.Expression of heme oxygenase-1 in gastric mucosa of patient with portal hypertensive gastropathy

Objective To explore the expression of heme oxygenase-1 (HO-1) in gastric mucosa of patient with portal hypertensive gastropathy (PHG),and its role in the pathogenesis of PHG.Methods The specimens were obtained from the gastric mucosa of 22 healthy subjects,20 portal hypertension (PHT) without PHG,and 22 PHG patients.Histological changes of the gastric mucosa were detected,and portal venous flow (PVF) was measured.The expression of HO-1 protein in gastric mucosal specimens was assessed by immunohistochemistry and Western blot analysis,respectively.The relationship between HO-1 expression and PHG severity score,HO-1 expression and PVF,PHG severity score and clinical parameters were investigated.Results HO-1 protein expression in gastric mucosa of PHG and PHT was significantly higher than that of the control (P < 0.05),while there was no significant difference in this variable between PHG and PHT (P > 0.05).The positive correlation was detected between HO-1 expression and PHG severity score in PHG patients (r =0.459,P <0.05),however,PHG severity score was irrelevant to severity of esophageal varice (r =0.059,P > 0.05) or to Child-Pugh classification (r =-0.001,P > 0.05).Of all the patients with PHT and PHG,no significant correlation was found between HO-1 expression and PVF (r =0.071,P > 0.05).Conclusion HO-1 protein is up-regulated in gastric mucosa of PHG patients,which may contribute to gastric circulation disorder of PHG.
6.Content determination of polysaccharides in root of cultivated Glycyrrhiza from different growth time

AIM: To measure and compare the content of glycyrrhizic polysaccharides in Glycyrrhiza in three different growth time. METHODS: The contents of polysaccharides were determined by phenol-sulfuric acid method and by reference to glucose, and wavelenth in spectrophotometer was set at 490 nm. RESULTS: There was difference of the content of the extracted polysaccharides among Glycyrrhiza for 1, 2 and 3 year, amounted to 11.75%, 11.07%, 7.88%, respectively. Objective To investigate the effect and mechanism of boron neutron capture therapy(BNCT) in C6 glioma cell line.Methods C6 cells in exponential phase were divided into 6 groups: untreated control,(~(60)Co?)(4 Gy),~(60)Co? 8 Gy,nuclear reactor exposure without boronophenylalanine(BPA) 3 Gy,BNCT(4 Gy) and BNCT 8 Gy.Cellular morphological change was observed by an inverted microscope,light microscope,fluorescence microscope and electronic microscope.Flow cytometry was used to determine the percentage of apoptosis,necrosis and normal cells 48h after irradiation.Colony forming assay was used to calculate cell surviving fraction.Results Typical morphological changes of apoptosis were observed early after irradiation in BNCT group,with a significant increase in apoptotic rates was observed 48 h after irradiation with 63.2% and 88.3% for BNCT(4 Gy) and 8 Gy group,respectively(P
9.Analysis of DIAPH3 gene mutation in a boy with autism spectrum disorder.

OBJECTIVETo analyze the clinical manifestations and gene mutation of a 6 year old boy with autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
METHODSPeripheral blood of the boy and his parents were subjected to genetic testing.
RESULTSThe patient was diagnosed with typical autism. Exome sequencing has identified mutations of four candidate genes, namely TUT1, DIAPH3, REELIN and SETD2, which were confirmed with Sanger sequencing. Analysis of family members confirmed that the missense mutations of DIAPH3 and SETD2 genes were of de novo origin.
CONCLUSIONMissense mutations of DIAPH3 and SETD2 genes may have contributed to the risk of ASD. Disrupted neurogenesis associated with such mutations may have been the underlying mechanism for ASD.
