Chinese Journal of Behavioral Medicine and Brain Science 2010;19(12):1123-1124
Objective To investigate the influence of class lecture on health care of sex and production to the sexual attitudes of college students. Methods 930 college students were assessed by The Sexual Attitudes Questionnaire(SAQ) before and after taking part in the lesson of health care of sex and production. Results The score of SAQ of all subjects was lower after class lecture (9.44 ± 2.67 ) than before ( 10.78 ± 2.65 ), there was significant difference(P< 0.05 ). Compared to before class lecture , the scores of male and female college students were decreased after education(P<0. 05 ). There was apparent difference between clinical and nonclinical students before and after class lecture ( clinical (99.70 ± 2.50) vs ( 8.30 ± 1.70), P < 0.05; nonclinical (11.71 ± 2.67)vs (10.81 ± 2.23), P<0.05). Conclusion Sexual knowledge was increased, and the sexual attitudes was tended to maturity of the students. It' s nessary to promote opening lecture of Health Care of Sex and Production in college students.
2.Status of Hand Hygiene among Medical Staff in Grass-roots Hospitals and Administration of Hospital Infections
Chinese Journal of Nosocomiology 2009;0(19):-
OBJECTIVE To understand the status of hand hygiene and hand-washing compliance in grass-roots hospitals and investigate the relation between hand hygiene and hospital infections to institute the administration strategy of hand hygiene.METHODS Hand contamination of medical staff in grass-roots hospitals was investigated. The species carrying were detected and the reason was analyzed.RESULTS The carrying rate of pathogenic bacteria before hand-washing was 100.0% while that after hand-washing was 36.5%.The pathogenic bacteria carrying included: Staphylococcus aureus,Escherichia coli,Klebsiella pneumoniae,Proteus,Pseudomonas aeruginosa,P.alcaligenes, coagulase negative Staphylococcus,Enterococcus, etc.CONCLUSIONS The hand contamination is the important risk factor of cross infection. We should streng then hospital infections idea among medical staff, think highly of supervision of hand hygiene and enhance the recognition and compliance of hand-washing to eliminate effectively the cross infection transmitted through hands.

Objective To explore the clinical efficacy of image-guided 125I radioactive seed interstitial implantation therapy for unresectable pancreatic cancer. Methods 25 patients with unresectable pancreatic cancer evaluated by retrospective follow-up were enrolled in this study,13 patients received radioactive seeds implantation while 12 patients were given non-surgical treatment. We observe and compare the clinical benefits, objective curative effect, complications, adverse reaction, survival between the two groups of patients. Results Compared with the non-surgical treatment group, the clinical benefit rate in the radiotherapy seed implantation group was 92% (12/13) while that of the non-surgical group was 42% (5/12),the difference was of statistically significance. The numbers of cases evaluated as effective were 6 (46%) and 4 (33 %) respectively, the difference was not statistical significant (x2 =0.427,P > 0.05);The radioactive seed implantation group had no serious postoperative complications;3 cases who received subsequent chemotherapy in radioactive seed implantation group(23%,3/13) and 3 cases in non-surgical treatment group(25%,3/12)suffered from serious adverse reactions, the difference was of no statistical significance(x2 =0.013,P >0.05);Comparing the survival rate between the two groups,x2 =0.001,P =0.969,the difference was of no statistical significance. Conclusions The therapy of 125I radioactive seed implantation for unresectable pancreatic cancer significantly relieves cancer caused pain and improves quality of life.

By applying the satellite-based distance rescue system and telemedical technology to the emergency treatment of the wounded from the Wenchuan Earthquake,we successfully conducted joint telemedical consultations with the guidance of the top specialists from various distant areas and saved 3 critically wounded patients. Our experience has shown that telemedical consultations may give a full play to the functions of large rescue organizations and the abilities of the top specialists, improve the treatment and expand war-time medical support.

Dynamic changes in gut dysbiosis and metabolomic dysregulation are associated with immune-complex glomerulonephritis(ICGN).However,an in-depth study on this topic is currently lacking.Herein,we report an ICGN model to address this gap.ICGN was induced via the intravenous injection of cationized bovine serum albumin(c-BSA)into Sprague-Dawley(SD)rats for two weeks, after which mycophenolate mofetil(MMF)and losartan were administered orally. Two and six weeks after ICGN establishment, fecal samples were collected and 16S ribosomal DNA(rDNA)sequencing and untargeted metabolomic were conducted.Fecal microbiota transplantation(FMT)was conducted to determine whether gut normali-zation caused by MMF and losartan contributed to their renal protective effects.A gradual decline in microbial diversity and richness was accompanied by a loss of renal function.Approximately 18 genera were found to have significantly different relative abundances between the early and later stages, and Marvinbryantia and Allobaculum were markedly upregulated in both stages.Untargeted metabolomics indicated that the tryptophan metabolism was enhanced in ICGN,characterized by the overproduction of indole and kynurenic acid, while the serotonin pathway was reduced.Administration of losartan and MMF ameliorated microbial dysbiosis and reduced the accumulation of indoxyl conjugates in feces.FMT using feces from animals administered MMF and losartan improved gut dysbiosis by decreasing the Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes(F/B)ratio but did not improve renal function. These findings indicate that ICGN induces serous gut dysbiosis, wherein an altered tryptophan metabolism may contribute to its pro-gression.MMF and losartan significantly reversed the gut microbial and metabolomic dysbiosis, which partially contributed to their renoprotective effects.

As a common disease in nervous system, epilepsy is possessed of characteristics of high incidence, suddenness and recurrent seizures. Timely prediction with corresponding rescues and treatments can be regarded as effective countermeasure to epilepsy emergencies, while most accidental injuries can thus be avoided. Currently, how to use electroencephalogram (EEG) signals to predict seizure is becoming a highlight topic in epilepsy researches. In spite of significant progress that made, more efforts are still to be made before clinical applications. This paper reviews past epilepsy studies, including research records and critical technologies. Contributions of machine learning (ML) and deep learning (DL) on seizure predictions have been emphasized. Since feature selection and model generalization limit prediction ratings of conventional ML measures, DL based seizure predictions predominate future epilepsy studies. Consequently, more exploration may be vitally important for promoting clinical applications of epileptic seizure prediction.
