1.The Relationship Between Leptin and Syndrome Type of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Patients with Gastric Carcinoma
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2010;17(19):2617-2618
Objective To study the expression of leptin in different of types of syndrome in traditional Chinese medicine of GC,explore the relationship between leptin and the type of syndrome. Methods Syndrome type of 75 patients who diagnosis of GC were differentially classified, and the expression of leptin in different types was determined by immunohistochemistry. And 18 patients with superficial gastritis were selected as control. The expressions of leptin in different syndrome types were analyzed by combining with correlated clinical pathological characteristics. Results The leptin positive expression rate in GC patients was 84.3%, and in superficial gastritis patients was 17.6%,the difference was significant ( P < 0.05 ). The intensity of leptin expression showed no evident correlation with sex, age, the size of tumor and its degree of cell differentiation( all P > 0.05 ). It was positively correlated with the depth of tumor infiltration, the extent of lymph node metastasis and the TNM stage( all P <0.05). Level of leptin in various syndrome types was significantly different, the highest expression showed in tanshiningjie type, the second in ganweibuhe type, and the lowest in piweixuhan type. Conclusions Leptin could be taken as an index for evaluating the infiltration, metastasis and prognosis of GC. The expression diversity could be a basis of different types of syndrome. The higher the intensity of evil excess, the more possibilities of tumor infiltration and metastasis and the worse the prognosis could be.

Journal of Third Military Medical University 1984;0(02):-
The diameter of the mitral orifice was measured in 122 cases of rheumatic mitral stenosis when commissurotomy was performed. In 99 cases(81.25%) with a history shorter than 10 years, the diameters ranged from 0.3 to 2 cm; it was larger than 1.1 cm. in 18 cases and smaller than 0.8 cm. in 68 cases. After analyzing the interrelationship between the diameter of the mitral orifice and the clinical manifestations, ECG, the postoperative complications, and the pathological findings, it was found that the size of the mitral orifice was not always in direct proportion with either the duration of the illness or the severity of cardiac enlargement. In those patients with a mitral orifice smaller than 0.8 cm., the following criteria were often present:1. Cardiac function above Ⅲ degree.2. Repeated attacks of hemoptysis.3. Presystolic contraction on ECG.4. Postoperative complication of auricular fibrillation.5. Thrombosis on the cardiac walls detected pathologically.

In the present study, 10 healthy adult dogs were used,8 for the experimental group and 2 for the normal group. We observed the histochemical and ultrastrac- tural changes of the enzymes in the pyramidal cells in the cerebral cortex under the condition of acute ischemia. The result demonstrated that the activity of LDH, AcP and AchE was increased, while the activity of SDH, MAO, ATP ase was decreased. The ultrastructural chnges showed that in the acute ischemia gromp, there were enlargement perinucleus spaces of neurone, brisement, disappearance and vasicularization of the mitochondrial crista. This indicated that acute ischemia had an obvious effect on the histochcmistry of enzymes and the ultra- structure of the neurone in the cerebral cortex.

Objective:To translate the Hip Preservation Surgery Expectations Survey (HPSES) into Chinese and test its reliability and validity. Methods:This study strictly followed the principles of Brislin translation, back translation, and cross-cultural adaptation to form a simplified Chinese version of HPSES. From September 2019 to July 2021, a survey was conducted using convenience sampling method to select 215 patients from the Department of Orthopedics of the Affiliated Hospital of Qingdao University who underwent hip preservation surgery to test the reliability and validity of the Chinese version of HPSES. This study used critical ratio determination and correlation analysis for item analysis, and used content validity index and structural validity to evaluate the validity of the scale, and the reliability of the scale was evaluated using Cronbach's α coefficients and half reliability. Results:The Chinese version of HPSES extracted 4 common factors, totaling 22 items, with a cumulative total variance contribution rate of 63.696%. The content validity index at the scale level was 0.97, and the content validity index at the item level was 0.83 to 1.00. The results of confirmatory factor analysis showed that the fit of the scale was good. The total Cronbach's α coefficient of the scale was 0.873, and Cronbach's α coefficients for each dimension ranged from 0.834 to 0.868. The overall Guttman half reliability coefficient of the scale was 0.840, and the Guttman half reliability coefficients for each dimension were 0.755 to 0.865.Conclusions:The Chinese version of HPSES has good reliability and validity, which can be used to evaluate the expected outcomes of patients undergoing hip preservation surgery, facilitating medical and nursing staffs to provide targeted preoperative health education and rehabilitation guidance to patients, and improving patients satisfaction.

ObjectiveWe examined the principal respiratory pathogens in patients with acute respiratory tract infection in Taizhou, Zhejiang Province during 2020‒2021 to provide evidence for prevention, diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory tract infection. MethodsFrom September 2020 to August 2021, a total of 2 831 cases with acute respiratory tract infection were collected from two influenza sentinel surveillance hospitals in Taizhou, which had then received the examination of 22 respiratory pathogens by multiple fluorescence quantitative PCR. ResultsThe total positive rate of respiratory pathogens in 2 831 samples was 14.13%, among which enterovirus (7.77%) and respiratory syncytial virus (1.59%) were the principal pathogens. Except enterovirus, there was no significant difference in the positive rate of pathogens detected by gender(P>0.05). Moreover, there was significant difference in pathogens by age (P<0.05), with the highest positive rate in 0‒4 years(35.21%). There was also significant difference in pathogens by seasons (P<0.05), with the highest positive rate in summer(20.54%). ConclusionThe positive rate of acute respiratory tract infection decreases significantly, compared with that before the COVID-19 epidemic. The differences in the positive rate differ significantly by age and seasons. Comprehensive consideration of diverse factors before diagnosis and the utilization of multiple fluorescent quantitative PCR can quickly and effectively determine the pathogens in the early stage of infection. Our findings may provide certain support for the diagnosis and treatment of acute respiratory infections in the context of COVID-19 in Taizhou.
