Objective: To observe the expression changes of Notch and nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) signaling pathways in rat myocardium post myocardial infarction. Methods: Myocardial infarction was established by ligation of the left anterior descending coronary artery(MI group), sham rats (similar surgical procedure without coronary artery ligation) served as control, the rats were sacrificed at first week, 4th and 8th week after operation, the non-infarct myocardial tissue in both groups was obtained to detect the mRNA expression of Notch1, Dll4 and Hes1 by RT-PCR, the protein expression of NICD1 was detected by Western blot, the nuclear protein p65 content was detected to reflect the activation degree of NF-κB signaling in the cardiomyocytes. Results: The myocardial mRNA expression of Notch1 in MI group was significantly higher than in control group (1.68±0.35 vs. 0.47±0.12, P<0.05) at first week, and tended to be higher at the 4th week and 8th week (P>0.05). The mRNA expression of Dll4 and Hes1 was similar between the two groups at the three time points. NICD1 protein level was increased at the first week in MI group as compared with control group (1.31±0.33 vs.0.45±0.11, P<0.05), which tended also to be higher at the 4th week and 8th week post operation (P>0.05). For NF-κB activation study, the nuclear protein p65 content was higher at first week, 4th week and 8th week in MI group as compared with respective control groups (0.286±0.052 vs.0.049±0.016 (P<0.01), 0.247±0.056 vs. 0.043±0.018 (P<0.01), 0.120±0.033 vs. 0.044±0.009 (P<0.05)), the most significant increase was found in the first week. Conclusions Notch and NF-κB signaling pathways are actively involved in the process of ventricular remodeling after myocardial infarction. Notch1 and NF-κB signaling pathways are both activated at the first week after myocardial infarction, NF-κB signaling pathway activation after myocardial infarction continues up to 8 weeks. These two signal transduction pathways may thus serve as new targets for future intervention studies to prevent heart failure.

Objective:We aimed to analyze the the genotyping of norovirus infectious diarrhea epidemic in Songjiang district, Shanghai, and explored the experience in handling the epidemic to provide a scientific basis for formulating prevention and treatment strategies.Methods:The epidemiological data and related samples of 69 outbreaks of infectious diarrhea caused by norovirus was collected from 2017 to 2019 in Songjiang district, Shanghai. Sequencing and type identification were performed by the method of gene sequencing for the junction region of Norovirus ORF1 and ORF2.Results:From 2017 to 2019, 69 outbreaks of norovirus infections diarrhea were reported in Songjiang district, Shanghai. A total of 1 767 samples were tested, including 619 case samples (positive rate 19.9%), 343 practitioner samples (positive rate 1.1%), 505 environmental samples (positive rate 0.5%) and 300 food samples (not detected). 141 sequences were obtained, and the genotype analysis showed that the genotype that mainly caused infectious diarrhea in 2017 and 2018 was GII.P16-GII.2 (50.98%, 26/51). In 2019, the genotypes that mainly caused infectious diarrhea were GII.P16-GII.2 (13.73%, 7/51) and GII.Pe-GII.4 (9.80%, 5/51).Conclusion:The main genotype of the 69 outbreaks of nororirus infectious diarrhea epidemic in Songjiang district, Shanghai from 2017 to 2019 was GII.P16-GII.2, which showed obvious peaks in spring, autumn and winter. There were more infections in kindergartens and schools. The surveillance of norovirus infection should be strengthened.

Objective:This study aimed to investigate the predictive value of N-terminal pro-B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) trajectory on future major adverse cardiovascular events (MACE) in patients with stable coronary artery disease (SCAD) after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).Methods:A retrospective cohort study was conducted on SCAD patients admitted to the Department of Cardiology at Sir Run Run Shaw Hospital, Zhejiang University School of Medicine, from January 2013 to December 2021. A total of 828 subjects were enrolled, comprising 592 males and 236 females, with an average age of (66.44±11.71) years. SCAD patients post-percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) were stratified into three NT-proBNP trajectory groups: T1 Low-Low (219 cases), T2 Medium-Low (363 cases), and T3 High-High (246 cases). The median follow-up time was 2.1 years, and the maximum follow-up time was 9 years. The primary clinical endpoint event was MACE. The NT-proBNP concentration in patients′ serum was measured using enzyme-linked fluorescent assay, and different trajectory groups were determined using latent class trajectory modeling. The association between NT-proBNP trajectory and occurrence of MACE in SCAD patients was evaluated using Kaplan-Meier survival curves and multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression models.Results:A total of 67 (8.1%) major adverse cardiovascular events occurred, including 43 cases (5.2%) of all-cause mortality, 13 cases (1.6%) of heart failure death, 9 cases (1.1%) of non-fatal myocardial infarction, and 15 cases (1.8%) of non-fatal stroke. Kaplan-Meier survival curve analysis showed significant differences in survival rates among T1, T2, and T3 groups of SCAD patients for MACE, all-cause mortality, and heart failure death (all P<0.001). In the multivariable Cox regression analysis, the risk of MACE occurrence for patients in the T2 group and T3 group was 1.708 times (95% CI 0.72-4.05) and 3.842 times (95% CI 1.625-9.081) compared to the T1 group, respectively. Moreover, a statistically significant linear trend was observed for the risk of MACE occurrence across trajectory groups ( P<0.001). Conclusions:NT-proBNP trajectory groups after PCI in SCAD patients are strongly associated with the risk of MACE occurrence and can serve as an independent predictor for MACE. Dynamic monitoring of NT-proBNP during follow-up to obtain longitudinal trajectories helps identify high-risk SCAD patients and implement timely effective intervention measures.

Objective Based on mosq-ovitrap monitoring method of Aedes albopictus， to determine the spatial and temporal distribution of Aedes albopictus in Songjiang District and provide scientific evidence for prevention and control of mosquito-borne diseases. Methods From May to October， 2018‒2020， density of Aedes albopictus was monitored by using the mosq-ovitrap method. Sub-districts and towns were used as the monitoring units and the difference in mosquito ovitrap index （MOI） was compared by seasons， years and habitats. Results The total number of positive mosquito ovitraps was 1049 in 2018‒2020， and the average MOI was 8.10. Four sub-districts/towns in the urban area and the northern area had the relatively high MOIs. Moreover， MOIs in residential and external environments were higher than other habitats. In addition， MOI of Aedes albopictus decreased over years from 2018 to 2020. Conclusion Aedes albopictus is widely distributed in Songjiang District. Although the number of mosquito decreased over years after the implementation of mosquito control measures， reproduction of mosquito remains excessive in some areas and seasons. It is necessary to perform targeted control measures based on comprehensive monitoring methods.

ObjectiveTo characterize the prevalence and epidemic situation of imported malaria cases in Songjiang District of Shanghai from 2013 to 2022， and to provide evidence for malaria prevention and control. MethodsRelated data were collected and analyzed， including malaria cases， blood testing of febrile patients， and mosquito surveillance in Songjiang from 2013 to 2022. ResultsA total of 13 002 febrile patients in Songjiang were tested for plasmodium parasites from 2013 to 2022， among which 18 malaria cases were confirmed， including 17 cases of falciparum malaria and 1 case of ovale malaria. Moreover， a total of 36 malaria cases were notified in Songjiang through the National Notifiable Disease Reporting System from 2013 to 2022， including cases reported from Songjiang District and other districts or provinces with physical addresses in Songjiang. Of them， there were 31 cases of falciparum malaria， 2 cases of vivax malaria， 2 cases of ovale malaria and 1 case of quartan malaria. The gender ratio of male to female cases was 17∶1， and the majority was young and middle aged. In addition， 35 cases were imported from Africa and 1 case from southeast Asia； 34 cases were migrant workers， and 2 cases were travellers abroad； 17 cases were found and reported in Songjiang， 15 cases were reported from other districts of Shanghai， and 4 cases were reported from other provinces； 27 cases were treated in Shanghai， 3 cases were treated in other provinces and 6 cases were treated with self-provided antimalarial drugs. Mosquito surveillance in Songjiang showed that density of Anopheles sinensis was extremely low. ConclusionNo indigenous malaria case has been notified in Songjiang since 2008. Malaria surveillance on migrant workers remains the focus of malaria prevention and control. Furthermore， achievement of malaria elimination in Songjiang should be continually enhanced to avoid potential further transmission of imported malaria.

Objective To analyze the spatial-temporal aggregation of other infectious diarrhea (OID) in Songjiang District, Shanghai, from 2018 to 2022, and to provide a basis for the formulation of scientific prevention and control measures of intestinal infectious disease. Methods Surveillance data of OID cases in Songjiang District, Shanghai, from 2018 to 2022 were collected from China Information System for Disease Control and Prevention. ArcMap software version 10.7 was applied to detect spatial autocorrelation analysis, and SaTScan software version 10.1.2 was applied in spatial-temporal scan analysis. Results A total of 2 996 OID cases were reported in Songjiang District between 2018 and 2022, with an average annual incidence rate of 29.26/100 000. The sex ratio of OID cases was 1.24:1, and majority of cases occurred in the age group 0-4 years (44.91%). Occupation of OID cases was mainly scattered children (42.36%), students (9.91%) and children in kindergarten or nursery (8.98%). Positive spatial autocorrelation of OID between 2018 and 2021 was identified at the township level in the global spatial autocorrelation analysis. Local spatial autocorrelation analysis indicated that the hot-spot areas of OID incidence were Fangsong Street, Yueyang Street, Zhongshan Street and Yongfeng Street, respectively, which were all distributed in the main urban area of Songjiang District. Three high-risk spatial-temporal clusters of OID incidence were identified through the spatial-temporal scan analysis. The primary spatial-temporal cluster covered 4 streets in the main urban area of Songjiang (RR=4.06, LRR=515.06, P<0.05). The secondary spatial-temporal cluster covered 2 streets/towns in northeastern area of Songjiang (RR=2.59, LRR=12.04, P<0.05). The tertiary spatial-temporal aggregation areas covered 4 streets/towns in both northwestern and main urban area of Songjiang (RR=2.65, LRR=11.51, P<0.05). Conclusion From 2018 to 2022, the overall incidence of other infectious diarrhea in Songjiang District showed a fluctuating downward trend, and there was a certain degree of spatiotemporal clustering. It is necessary to strengthen the prevention and control measures of OID for key populations in the clustering area before epidemic seasons.

Methods The number of reported cases of HFMD and population data in Songjiang District from 2017 to 2022 were collected. SaTScan 10.1.2 was used for spatiotemporal scanning analysis, and ArcGis 10.7 was used to visually describe the spatial distribution of HFMD. Results From 2017 to 2022, a total of 12318 cases of HFMD were reported, with an average annual reporting rate of 106.72/100 000. The incidence rate of HFMD from 2017 to 2019 was 174.19/100 000, higher than the incidence rate of HFMD from 2020 to 2022 (43.29/100 000) (P<0.01). From 2017 to 2022, there were cases reported in each month throughout the year, with the peak incidence occurring from May to October each year. The incidence rate of HFMD in each area had obvious spatial clustering. The results of spatiotemporal scanning analysis showed that the high incidence areas of HFMD were mainly distributed in Jiuting Town, Jiuliting Street, Guangfulin Street, Sijing Town, and Dongjing Town (LLR=1199.68, P<0.01). Conclusion The HFMD in Songjiang District of Shanghai shows obvious spatiotemporal clustering distribution. The clustering area is mainly distributed in the northeast of the district. Attention should be paid to high-risk areas and key populations, and targeted preventive measures should be developed.

ObjectiveTo analyze the monitoring results and trends of Oncomelania in Songjiang District of Shanghai from 2007 to 2023， and to provide reference for future monitoring work. MethodsThe data of snail monitoring in Songjiang District from 2007 to 2023 were collected， including the location of snail spots， the number of survey frames， the area with snails， the number of frames with snails， the total number of snails， etc. The density of living snails and the occurrence rate of living snail frames were calculated. ResultsFrom 2007 to 2023， a total of 158 snail spots were found in 22 administrative villages in 4 towns in Songjiang District， including 131 emerging snail habitats （82.91%） and 27 reemerging snail habitats （17.09%）. The total snail area was 175 980 m²， the number of snail frames was 10 061， and 33 302 snails were captured. The highest density was 260/0.11 m²， and 15 662 snails were dissected. No positive snails were found. The average density of living snails was 0.60/0.11 m² and the average occurrence rate of living snail frames was 17.99%. The snail areas in different areas were Yexie Town 126 000 m² （71.60%）， Maogang Town 26 470 m² （15.04%）， Xinbang Town 17 040 m² （9.68%）， and Shihudang Town 6 470 m² （3.68%）. The average density of living snails in different areas was 0.89/0.11 m² in Yexie Town， 0.65/0.11 m² in Maogang Town， 0.26/0.11 m² in Shihudang Town and 0.24/0.11 m² in Xinbang Town. The snail areas of different snail habitats were as follows： woodland 151 250 m²（85.95%）， river 13 810 m²（7.85%）， ditch 6 910 m²（3.93%）， farmland 4 010 m²（2.28%）. The average density of living snails in different snail habitats： ditch 1.01/0.11 m²， beach 0.86/0.11 m²， woodland 0.57/0.11 m²， river 0.40/0.11 m². The occurrence rate of living snail frames in different regions and different snail environment types showed a downward trend and the difference was statistically significant. ConclusionAlthough the snail monitoring indicators such as snail area， average living snail density and average living snail frame occurrence rate in Songjiang District are still at its historically low level， the average living snail density and average living snail frame occurrence rate are still high compared with other regions or the national average. We should focus on the upper reaches and tributaries of the Huangpu River， especially the key areas of seedling transplantation， and strengthen monitoring and supervision to reduce the risk of snail input.
