Objective To study the histopathological changes and biological behavior of bowenoid papulosis and its relationship with apopotosis. Methods 20 bowenoid papuloses and 5 normal skin tissues were examined by DNA nick end labeling(TUNEL) technique and the pathological changes of bowenoid papulosis were observed by Hematoxylin-eosin-stained.Results Bowenoid papulosis exhibited disordered maturation and scattered, large, highly atypical cells mitoses throughout all layers of epithelium;and there were few apoptotic cells in 5 normal skin tissuese and many apoptotic cells in bowenoid papuloses. The apoptotic index(27.1?15.1) in bowenoid papulosis patients was significantly higher than that in control group(6.8?3.5)(P

Hyperuricemia is a risk factor for various diseases, but knowledge on acute hyperuricemia is still not sufficient. The present study was aimed to investigate the effect of acute hyperuricemia on red blood cells from hemorheological point of view, and to provide the reference for clinical treatment. The rats were gavaged with 500 mg/kg hypoxanthine and intraperitoneally injected with 100 mg/kg oxonate to induce the model of acute hyperuricemia. The same volume of blood samples were drawn within time period of 0, 1, 2, 3 and 6 h, respectively, from the inner canthus of rats to measure the serum uric acid, hemorheological parameters and the malondialdehyde level. It was found that in each period of 1, 2 and 3 h, the rats had significantly higher levels of uric acid. The integrated deformation index and relax index were increased. The hemolysis rate was significantly reduced. The plasma malondialdehyde level was obviously decreased at the end of 2 h. The results suggested that short-term elevated uric acid could improve the hemorheological parameters and the lipid oxidative level in red blood cells.

Objective To explore the effect of luteolin on the proliferation of osteosarcoma stem cells. Methods CD133 +osteosarcoma stem cells were separated from MG63 cells by flow cytometer.MTT was used to investigate the effects of luteolin(0,0.01,0.02,0.04 mg/mL)on the proliferation of osteosarcoma stem cells.Western blot was used to detect the levels of Ki67 protein and components of JAK2/STAT3 signal pathway in osteosarcoma stem cells induced. Results After sorting, the content of the CD133 +fraction was enriched up to(87.60 ±5.06)%.MTT assay showed that, compared with the control group,luteolin(0.01,0.02,0.04 mg/mL)inhibited proliferation of CD133 + osteosarcoma stem cells(P <0.05).Western blot also showed that luteolin significantly decreased the level of Ki67 compared with the control group(P<0.05).In addition, the luteolin inhibited the expression of p-JAK2 and p-STAT3 in JAK2/STAT3 signal pathway of CD133 + osteosarcoma stem cells compared with the control group ( P <0.05 ) . Conclusion Luteolin might be a suppressor of osteosarcoma stem cells.

Objective To probe the immunological traits of mesenchymal stem cells derived from umbilical cord Wharton's jelly (WJMSCs). Methods The diced Wharton's jelly which was from healthy fullterm birth human umbilical cord was cultured. The mesenchymal stem cells were identified with mesenchymal stem cells markers expression by flow cytometry and multiple differentiation ability. The expression of MHC- Ⅰ / Ⅱ, costimulatory molecules (CD40, CD80 and CD86) was detected with flow cytomctry, immunocytochemistry, and RT-PCR. The expression of immune inhibitors like HLA-G, IDO, and PGE2 was detected by immunocytochemistry and RT-PCR. The expression of immune-related molecules as IL-10, TGF-β, FGF and VEGF was detected with antibody microarray and western blot. Further more, to clarify the in vivo immune reaction of hWJMSCs, we fabricated the hWJMSC-scaffold constructs and implanted them into the rabbit backs. The lymphocyte infiltration and implanted cell survival observed with immunofluorescence. Results After culturinge of diced Wharton's jelly tissue, we obtained spindle-shaped cells. With differentiation medium, the cells can differentiate into osteoblasts, chongdrocytes, adipose cells and schwann cells. Expression of MHC, costimulatory molecules, and a series of immune suppressive-related molecules was found. Immune inhibitors as HLA-G, 1DO, PGE2, and immune suppressive related molecules as HGF, VEGF, TGFand IL-10 were positively expressed. But the cells did not express MHC-Ⅱ. No immune rejection was observed in vivo after implantation of hWJMSC-scaffold constructs. Conclusion It can be concluded that hWJMSCs have very low immunogenicity, which means the cells have potential to induce immune tolerance. The hWJMSCs do not provoke immune rejection in vivo.

Objective To compare the molluscicidal effects between“Luo-wei”(TDS),a plant molluscicide in 4 percent, and metaldehyde and niclosamide(MNSC)in the field. Methods A natural ecological environment with Oncomelania hupensis was selected as the test area, the test concentrations of TDS and MNSC were 2.5 g/m3 and 2 ml/m3 respectively by the immersion method;the test doses of TDS and MNSC were 3 g/m2 and 2 ml/m2 respectively by the spray method;the doses of WPN in a control group were 2 g/m3 and 2 g/m2 respectively by the two methods above-mentioned. The molluscicidal effects between TDS and MNSC were compared by using the synchronous design method and parallel comparative method. Results In the TDS group, the death rate of snails was 90.70%by immersion for 24 hours, reached to 81.40%after spraying for 7 days, and there were no significant differences among the observation time points in molluscicidal effects(P>0.05). One day after the spraying, the death rate of snails was less in the TDS group compared with that in the MSCN group(P<0.01),but the death rates of snails were similar in both groups 3 days after the spraying(P>0.05). In the MSCN group, the death rate of snails was 99.17%by immersion for 24 hours, reached to 66.07% by spraying for 1 day. In the WPS group, the death rate of snails was 97.15% by immersion for 24 hours, reached to 71.43%after spraying for 1 day,and there were no significant differences(both P>0.05). Conclusion TDS has a good molluscicidal activity and stable efficacy, and the molluscicidal effect of TDS is similar to that of MSCN in the filed, but the molluscicidal sensitivity of TDS is lower than that of MSCN.

Tetanus consists of neonatal tetanus and non-neonatal tetanus. Non-neonatal tetanus remains a serious public health problem, although neonatal tetanus has been eliminated in China since 2012. Non-neonatal tetanus is a potential fatal disease. In the absence of medical intervention, the mortality rate of severe cases is almost 100%. Even with vigorous treatment, the mortality rate remains 30%-50% globally. These specifications aim to regulate non-neonatal tetanus diagnosis and treatment in China, in order to improve medical quality and safety. These specifications introduce the etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations and laboratory tests, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, grading and treatment of non-neonatal tetanus.

Tetanus consists of neonatal tetanus and non-neonatal tetanus. Although neonatal tetanus in China has been eliminated since 2012, non-neonatal tetanus remains a serious public health problem. Non-neonatal tetanus is a potential fatal disease, and the mortality rate of severe cases is almost 100% in the absence of medical intervention. Even with vigorous treatment, the mortality rate is still 30~50% globally. In order to standardize the diagnosis and treatment of non-neonatal tetanus in China, this specification is hereby formulated. This standard includes etiology, epidemiology, pathogenesis, clinical manifestations, laboratory tests, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, classification, grading and treatment of non-neonatal tetanus.
