1.Effects of Treadmill Training on Expression of Glial Fibrillary Acidic Protein and Brain-derived Neurotrophic Factor in Rats with Cerebral Ischemia-reperfusion

Objective To explore the effect of treadmill training on expression of glial fibrillary acidic protein (GFAP) and brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF) after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats. Methods 30 male Wistar rats were randomly divided into sham group, model group and treadmill training group, with 10 rats in each group. The latter 2 groups were modeled with middle cerebral artery occlusion for 2 hours and reperfusion. The treadmill training group underwent treadmill exercise on the 3rd day after modeling for 12 days. Neurological function was evaluated with modified Neurological Severity Scores (mNSS). The neuronal pathological change in ischemic cortex was observed with HE staining. The expressions of GFAP and BDNF in cortex were determined by Western blotting. Results Com-pared with the model group, the mNSS scores decreased in the treadmill training group (F=9.931, P<0.01), the pathological damage in the ischemia cortex significantly lessened, and the expressions of GFAP (t=6.73) and BDNF (t=3.78) increased (P<0.05). Conclusion Treadmill training may increase the expression of GFAP and BDNF after cerebral ischemia-reperfusion in rats, and promote the recovery of neurologi-cal function.
2.Correlation between Preoperative Plasma Fibrinogen Level and Chemotherapy Effect in Ovarian Cancer Patients

Objective:To explore the correlation between fibrinogen levels and chemotherapy effect of platinum drugs in ovarian cancer patients. Methods:Totally 91 ovarian cancer patients and 95 patients with benign ovarian tumor were involved in our retrospec-tive study, and the associations between preoperative fibrinogen levels and clinic pathologic parameters in the patients were analyzed. Results:High fibrinogen levels were observed in 36.26% (33/91) of the patients with ovarian cancer ( >4.0 g·L-1), which was significantly higher than that in the patients with benign tumor(P<0. 05). The high fibrinogen levels in ovarian cancer patients were associated with the higher FIGO stage and poor chemo-response, while were not associated with the patients' age, CA-125 levels and histological type and grade (P>0. 05). More importantly, no correlation was observed between high blood fibrinogen and CA-125 lev-els (P>0.05). Chemotherapy resistance was more in the patients with high fibrinogen levels than that in the other patients(P <0. 05). The OR value of high fibrinogen levels was 3. 571, 95% CI was 1. 276-10. 000, which suggested high fibrinogen level is a dangerous factor for chemotherapy resistance. Conclusion:The study suggested that elevated fibrinogen level was a dangerous factor for chemotherapy response, which has a potential role in the poor prognosis of ovarian cancer patients independent of CA-125.
3.Observations on the Therapeutic Effect of Acupuncture on Biased Constitution-based Subhealth

Objective To investigate the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in treating subhealth.Methods One hundred and fifty-four patients with subhealth were allocated, using a random number table, to observation and control groups, 77 cases each. The control group received basic treatment by diet, exercise, rest and rest and psychological intervention and the observation group, acupuncture therapy in addition. Subhealth scale subscores and the 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) subscore were recorded and blood biochemical indicators were measured in the two groups before and after treatment. the clinical therapeutic effects were compared between the two groups.Results The total efficacy rate was 96.1% in the observation group and 83.1% in the control group; there was a statistically significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in subhealth scale subscores in the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, sleep, digestion, urination, positive emotion, ability and social relation subscores were higher, and fatigue, discomfort and negative emotion subscores were lower in the observation group than in the control group (both P<0.05). There were statistically significant pre-/post-treatment differences in blood biochemical indicators in the two groups (P<0.05). After treatment, blood uric acid (UA), total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG) and low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) were significantly lower and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C) was significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (both P<0.05). The 36-Item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-36) subscore were higher in thetwo groups after treatment than before treatment (P<0.05). After treatment, physiological function, role-physical, role-emotional, body pain and general health subscore were significantly higher in the observation group than in the control group (P<0.05).Conclusions Acupuncture helps to improve subhealth status in population, regulate blood biochemical indicators and enhance the clinical therapeutic effect to raise the quality of life in the patients.
4.Application of latent class analysis in online emotion regulation in college students

Objective:To explore the relationship between the latent classes of online emotion regulation among college students and the distribution difference of different types on variables such as gender,grade,ages of surfing the net and so on.Methods:Totally 421 college students were assessed with Online Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (OERQ).Latent class analysis was used to identify online emotion regulation classes,and then analyzed the distribution of latent classes among different genders,grades and ages of surfing the net.Results:Two latent classes of online emotion regulation were identified,including online emotion inhibiting/ignoring class (37.6%) and online emotion venting class (62.4%).The prevalence of online emotion venting class among girls (56.6% vs.3.8%),sophomores (36.3% vs.11.9%),juniors (23.4% vs.3.1%),those with more than 36 months of surfing the net (31.6% vs.18.8%) were significantly higher than the other of the respective kind.Whereas,the rate of inhibiting/ignoring class among boys (32% vs.7.6%),freshmen (20% vs.5%) were significantly higher.Conclusion:It suggests that online emotion regulation could be divided into two different latent classes and prevalence of each class is significantly different in different genders,grades,and ages of surfing the net.
5.Effect of compound salvia miltiorrhiza bunge injection on the vascular endothelial function in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus

BACKGROUND The effect of lipid-regulating therapy has been affirmed definitely in the first and second grade prevention of coronary arteriosclerotic cardiopathy, and Ginkgo biloba extract has a certain effect to lower blood lipid.OBJECTIVE: To investigate the effect of new Ginkgo biloba extract recipe (NGBR) on the blood-lipid level and the degree of hepa tic fatty degeneration in experimental hyperlipidemic rats. DESIGN:A randomized and controlled trial.SETTING: Department of Cardiology , Jinshan Hospital of Fudan University; Suzhou Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Department of Pharmacology, Soochow University,MATERIALS: A total of 60 SD rats of clean grade, after one week adaptive feeding, were randomly divided into six groups: normal control group, hyperlipidemic model group, NGBR 20 mg/(kg·d), 40 mg/(kg·d)and 80 mg/(kg·d) groups, as well as lipanthyl 25 mg/(kg·d)group, with 10 in each group. 10METHODS: The rats in lipanthyl 25 mg/(kg·d), NGBR 20 mg/(kg·d), 40 mg/(kg·d) and 80 mg/(kg·d) groups were by gavage administrated 10 mL/kg, at 9:00-10:00 every morning; while the rats in normal control group and hyperlipidemic model group were given distilled water of the same volume. Except for the rats in normal control group, the rats in other five groups were by gavage given fatty emulsion 10 mL/kg, at 1:00-2:00every afternoon for 28 days consecutively. On the 29th day, all the rats were tested on serum total cholesterol (TC), triglyceride (TG), high density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C), apolipoprotein AI (apoAI) and apolipoprotein B (apoB); at the same time the lives of the rats were taken out for pathological.examination of the degree of hepatic fatty degeneration. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:The blood-lipid changes and the degree of hepatic fatty degeneration of rats in each group RESULTS:Totally 60 rats involved all entered the final result analysis. ① Comparison of blood-lipid changes of rats in each group: The levels of TC and low density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C) in hyperlipidemic model group were obviously increased, HDL-C level was decreased, as compared with those in normal control group there was a significant difference (P < 0.01); but the TG level was only slightly increased (P > 0.05). In the three NGBR groups the levels of TC, TG and LDL-C were obviously decreased(P < 0.05 or 0.01 ), and the levels of HDL-C, apoAI and apoB were increased to a certain grade, with in the NGBR 80 mg/(kg·d)group the difference being obvious(P < 0.05). ② Comparison of the degree of hepatic fatty degeneration of rats in each group: In pathological examination, the liver of rats in hyperlipidemic model group presented diffuse fat vacuoles; in NGBR 40 and 80 mg/(kg·d)groups, the degeneration levels reduced to a given degree, especially obvious in NGBR 80 mg/(kg· d)group. CONCLUSION:NGBR can effectively correct the lipid metabolism in hyperlipidemia, with a good preventive role to hyperlipidemia induced by feeding fatty emulsion.

PCAF participates in various biological processes of cells and in the interaction between virus and cells. The imbalance of PCAF would lead to abnormal development of various organs, and related to the development of some tumors.
7.Chemical composition of Porphyra haitanensis (Rhodophyta, Bangiales) in China

Objective To analyze the chemical composition of Porphyra haitanensis cultivated in Fujian Province.Methods The contents of crude protein,carbohydrate,crude fat,ash,free amino acids,inorganic elements,chlorophyll a,carotenoid,phycoerythrin and phycocyanin of dried P.haitanensis were determined by routine analysis methods.Results It showed the contents of crude protein,carbohydrate,crude fat and ash of dried P.haitanensis were 34.88%~37.21%,46.86%~49.27%,1.68%~2.09%and 8.75%~9.92%.The contents of chlorophyll a,carotenoid,phycoerythrin and phycocyanin in P.haitanensis were 60 1~646,120~130,1289~1802,1255~1743mg(100g)-1.P.haitanensis is rich in free amino acids and inorganic elements,i.e.K,Na,Mg,Fe,P and Zn,but very little heavy metals,i.e.Cu,Cd and Cr.Conclusions The P.haitanensis was a kind of health food,which was in high content of protein,low content of fat and rich of inorganic elements.
8.Comparison of the clinical effect of breast-conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy in the treatment of early breast cancer

Objective To compare the clinical efficacy of breast-conserving surgery and modified radical mastectomy for early breast cancer and their influence on quality of life.Methods 78 patients with early stage breast cancer were divided into two groups by random number table,and 39 cases in each group.The control group was given modified radical mastectomy,while the observation group was given breast-conserving surgery.The clinical efficacy,surgical conditions and quality of life scores were compared between the two groups.Results The operative time,blood loss,incision length and the average hospital stay of the observation group were (60.23 ± 5.21)min,(44.73 ± 4.22) mL,(4.72 ± 1.02) cm and (9.52 ± 0.86) d,which were significantly lower than those of the control group(t =7.88,8.32,8.89,6.42,all P < 0.05).The postoperative physical factors,mental factors,psychological factors and social factors scores of the observation group were (67.44 ± 3.87),(48.64 ± 3.73),(117.34 ± 8.33)and (61.56 ± 5.32),which were significantly higher than those of the control group (t =5.43,5.87,6.29,7.11,all P < 0.05).The postoperative 3-year local recurrence,distant metastasis and survival rate showed no significant differences between the two groups (x2 =1.22,1.09,1.29,all P > 0.05).Conclusion Breast-conserving surgery in the treatment of early breast cancer has significant effect,and it has less trauma,less bleeding and cosmetic results,and it can be used as the preferred method for the treatment of early breast cancer,which is worth to be further applied in clinical.
9.Comparison of erythromycin or azithromycin treatment in children bronchial pneumonia

Objective Comparison of the effects of erythromycin or azithromycin in the treatment of children bronchial pneumonia.Methods 87 cases of bronchial pneumonia were randomly divided into two groups.The observation group had 46 cases treated with azithromycin.The control group had 41 cases treated with erythromycin.The clinical curative effect and adverse reaction of two groups were compared.Results Total effective rate in the observation group(93.5%) was significantly higher than that of the control group (60.9%) (x2 =13.42,P < 0.01) ; the incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (10.9%) was significantly lower than that of the control group (60.9%) (x2 =24.09,P < 0.01).Conclusion The curative effect of azithromycin is better than erythromycin on children bronchial pneumonia,and less adverse reaction.
10.Determination of ochratoxin A in human urine by HPLC-FLD after cleaned-up by molecularly imprinted polymer solid phase extraction column.

A method was developed for the determination of ochratoxin A (OTA) in human urine by HPLC-FLD after molecularly imprinted polymer solid phase extraction (MIP-SPE) column. After the pH being adjusted to 2.5 with 0.1 mol x L(-1) HC1, sample was cleaned up with MIP-SPE column for ochratoxin A, the analyte was analyzed by high performance liquid chromatography coupled with fluorescence detection (HPLC-FLD), and finally all the positive results were confirmed by LC-MS/MS. Recoveries from urine samples spiked with OTA at levels ranging from 2 to 20 ng x mL(-1) were 90.6%-101.9%, and RSDs were 0.1%-1.6%. Sixty-five volunteers living in Beijing took part in the study, of which 5 were found containing OTA in their urine and the highest value was 0.091 ng x mL(-1). The MIP-SPE column was firstly applied to purify and concentrate OTA in human urine, this method is simple, rapid and reliable and can be used to determine the contents of OTA in human urine.
