3.A brief introduction to Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation II.
Journal of Integrative Medicine 2012;10(2):160-5
Clinical practice guidelines play an important role in practitioner and patient decisions regarding appropriate clinical health care and in health policy formation. In the guideline development process, inappropriate methodologies and development strategies significantly influence the quality of guidelines; therefore, research and evaluation of guidelines have great significance. The original Appraisal of Guidelines for Research and Evaluation (AGREE) instrument was published in 2003 by a group of international guideline developers and researchers. AGREE has important significance for the quality guarantee and successful implementation of guidelines, and has extensively achieved endorsement since 2003. In 2009, The AGREE Collaboration has developed the AGREE II by refining the original AGREE instrument. At present, the AGREE II has already replaced the original AGREE instrument; however, related introduction regarding AGREE II has not been found in China. The authors of this article briefly introduce the AGREE II, and believe that it will add value to research and evaluation of the guidelines as a whole.
4.Minimally invasive bi-endoscopic treatment of deep submandibular gland calculu.
West China Journal of Stomatology 2016;34(2):169-172
OBJECTIVEA study was conducted to evaluate the clinical application of sialendoscopy combined with conven tional laparoscopy in a 30 degree angle in depth salivary calculus of submandibular glands.
METHODSA total of seventeen patients were presented with repeated swelling in the unilateral submandibular area from June 2013 to August 2015. All patients underwent CT examinations of the mandible and salivary gland function imaging preoperatively. Sialoendoscopy and conventional endoscopy were applied to do intraoral lithotomy. Among the study group, thirteen cases were males and four cases were females. A total of twelve were left cases and five were right cases. Results Seventeen patients had deep positive calculus in the submandibular glands under CT. Photo technetium function was basically normal, whereas secretion of ipsilateral decreased significantly in salivary function tests. Double endoscope assisted surgeries were performed successfully through the mouth to remove the stones. The operation time was (42+21) min. There were no obvious complications in perioperative periods.
CONCLUSIONIntraoral lithotomy assisted by sialoendoscopy and conventional laparoscopy for deep stones in the submandibular glands is a new technique. This technique will possibly lead to complete avoidance of gland resection because of early deep sialolithiasis.

5.Study of the Sleep Quality of Frontier Armymen Located in the Desert and Its Correlated Factors
Chinese Journal of Clinical Psychology 2001;0(03):-
Objective: To investigate the the sleep quality of frontier armymen located in the Gobi desert and its corre- lated factors. Methods: The sleep quality of 302 frontier armymen located in the Gobi desert was assessed with Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PQSI). Results: The total scores of PQSI was 6.79?3.39,and 49.7% of the armymen suffered from sleep problems. The total scores of PQSI were correlated with health status, satisfaction with work, influence by the relation- ship with opposite sex, pressure from study and work,et al. Conclusion: The sleep quality problem of the frontier armymen located in the Gobi desert was more than normal people, and special measures should be taken to improve their sleep quality.
6.EFFECTS OF POLYACTIN A ON THE HEMOLYSIN ANTIBODY PRODUCTION IN MICE
Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 1987;0(03):-
In this report, the immunopharmacological effects of Polyactin A ( PAA ) were presented. When the SRBC immunized mice were administered daily 2. 5~40mg/kg ( ip ) of PAA for 3 or 5 days, the serum level of hemolysin, the antibody production in spleen and the number of nucleated cells of spleen were enhanced significantly; and the efficacy-dose dependency was evident in these experiments。 In spite of these effects, PAA didn't affect the kinetics of circulating antibody level. In other experiments, it was found that the efficiency was more potent when PAA was given before or simultaneously with SRBC immunization than given after.
7.The Value of X-ray Diagnosis Myodystrophy Leading to Osteoarticular Change(A Reports of 3 Cases and a Review of the Literature)
Journal of Practical Radiology 2001;0(09):-
Objective To study the value of clinical application for X-ray diagnosis in myodystrophy followed by osteoarticular change such as scapula, etc. Methods Different osteoarticular position, size, structure were observed on X-ray films.X-ray features of dysostosis, malformation and dislocation of joint caused by myodsytrophy were analysed in three cases. Results X-ray findings of myodsytrophy in 3 cases included:revolving and displacement of scapula, scapula getting shorterand smaller, dislocation of acromioc cleido joint and shoulder joint and bending and malformation of shoulder joint. Conclusion It can be certain that myodsytrophy directly causes the maltormation of osteoartthritis to make a diagnosis for one who suffers from a myodystrophy with obvious osteodysplasty by X-ray and find out the harm of this kind of disease. Finally we can predict how it goes in anaphase.
8.Laparoscopic surgery for ulcerative colitis
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2000;0(12):-
Objective To investigate the feasibility and safety of laparoscopic surgical treatment of ulcerative colitis(UC).Methods The clinical data of 5 cases who underwent laparoscopic surgery for the treatment of ulcerative colitis were reviewed. Results All 5 cases successfully underwent laparoscopic surgery.Among them,4 had total proctocolectomy and ileal pouch-anastomosis(IPAA),and 1 had subtotal colectomy plus total proctectomy, and cecum-anal anastomosis. The median operating time was 7.5(6.5-9)h,the median blood loss was 250(150-400)mL,the median time to begin semi-fluid intake after operation was 62(60-86)h,the median time of hospital stay was 12(10-14)d,Postoperative pelvic infection occurred in 1 case, adhesive intestinal obstruction occurred in another case. The median follow-up time was 22(10-34)months,and the average number of daily bowel movement was 6.5(4-10)d;they were relapse-free,and had normal daily living and work at follow-up.Conclusions Laparoscopic surgical treatment of ulcerative colitis is associated with minor trauma and rapid recovery, and is safe and reliable, but further accumulation of cases is required.
9.Rare abnomalities of the gallbladder and cystic duct:a report of 8 cases
Chinese Journal of General Surgery 2001;0(08):-
Objective To explore the types and the clinical value of the abnomalities of the gallbladder and cystic duct. Methods The clinical date of the 8 cases associated with the abnomalities of the gallbladder and cystic duct among the 432 patients who underwent cholecystectomy in our department since 1990 January were analyzed relrospectively. Results Of the 8 cases ,1 case was discovered as gallbladder duplication, 1 as left-sided gallbladder, 2 as cystic duct parallel to CBD ,1 as cystic duct joining to the anterior wall of CBD,1 as double cystic ducts (one duct joining to the common hepatic duct, the other joining to CBD ),1 as gallbladder hepatic duct ,1 as right accessory hepatic duct joining to the cystic duct. 4 patients(50.0%) developed postoperative complications. Conclusions The keys to reduce the morbidity rate of cholecystectomy are carefully assessment and dissection of the Calot′s triangular area, correct management of the cystic duct ,cystic artery ,and the "adhesions".
10.Sequential therapy versus standard triple therapy for duodenal ulcer with Hp infection
Clinical Medicine of China 2011;27(2):159-161
Objective To compare the efficacy of 10-day sequential therapy (including rabeprazole amoxillin clarithromycin tinidazole) and 7-day traditional trigeminy therapy (including rabeprazole amoxillin and clarithromycin) in patients with duodenobulbar ulcer and Hp infection. Methods Ninty-five patients with duodenobulbar ulcer and Hp infection were enrolled into the study and divided into two groups randomly:sequential therapy group and traditional trigeminy therapy group. Patients in the first group received 10-day sequential medications:rabeprazole 10 mg plus amoxillin 1 g for the first 5 days, followed by rabeprazole 10 mg plus clarithromycin 500 mg and tinidazole 500 mg for another 5 days;while in the second group patients received the standard 7-day traditional triple medications:rabeprazole 10 mg plus clarithromycin 500 mg and tinidazole 400 mg. All drugs were given twice daily. All patients received rabeprazole 10 mg daily following the two types of therapys for another four weeks. Hp statuses were assessed by rapid urease test and 14C urea breath test at baseline and 4 weeks after completion of the treatment. Ulcer cicatrization was assessed by gastroscope. Results The eradication rate of Hp infection was significantly higher in sequential group than triple group (89.5%vs. 70. 2%, P < 0. 05 ), but we found no statistically significant difference in the comparison of the ulcer cicatrization rate between sequential group and triple group ( 87.5% vs. 82. 9%, P > 0. 05 ). Conclusion Sequential therapy had a better Hp eradication effect than standard triple therapy, but the eradication rate was very close between the two therapys.
