1.Quality standard for Anxinkang Dripping Pills

AIM: To estabolish the method for quality control of Anxinkang Dripping Pills(Radix Sophorae Flavescentis,Radix Astragali,etc.) METHODS: Using TLC to identify the dripping pills,matrine and oxymatrine in dripping pills were determined by RP-HPLC.Using C_(18) column,the mobile phase was made from the acetone methanol-H_3PO_4(3∶7∶90),the detection wavelength was at 210 nm. RESULTS: The herbs could be(identified) by TLC.For matrine,the linear range was from 0.05-0.50 ?g,and the average recovery was 97.3%,and for oxymatrine,the linear range was from 0.1-1.0 ?g,and the average recovery was 97.6%. CONCLUSION: The method is simple,reliable,accurate and can be applied to the quality control of the Anxinkang Dri-(pping) Pills.
2.Prognostic value of lymphocyte subsets in gastric cancer with different tumor infiltration patterns

Objective:To probe into the potential prognostic value of lymphocyte subsets in gastric cancer.Methods:This study included patients who underwent radical gastrectomy for gastric cancer from Aug 2014 to Dec 2016. The immunological differences was analyzed in different infiltration patterns. The overall survival of patients was analyzed by Kaplan-Meier method and Log-rank test. COX regression was performed to assess independent prognostic factors of the patients, and finally constructed nomogram.Results:The median number of peripheral CD4 and CD19 cells in infiltration pattern c was 750 (94-2 504) cells/μl and 186 (17-820) cells/μl; the median number of peripheral CD4 and CD19 cells in infiltration pattern a was 802 (203-2 071) cells/μl and 213 (5-948) cells/μl, the number of peripheral CD4,CD19 cells in infiltration pattern c was lower than that in infiltration pattern a, with statistically significant differences (CD4: Z=-3.061, P=0.002; CD19: Z=-2.016 , P=0.044). CD19 lymphocytes ( P=0.023) were associated with infiltration pattern a, CD8 lymphocytes ( P=0.027) were associated with infiltration pattern b, and CD4 lymphocytes ( P=0.026) were independent risk factors associated with the prognosis of infiltration pattern c. A nomogram can be constructed to evaluate the prognosis of patients. Conclusion:There are differences in the number of peripheral lymphocyte subsets in patients with different INF types. A nomogram can be constructed from lymphocyte subsets and clinicopathological features to assess patient prognosis.
3.The mediating effect of depression in the associations between sleep quality and cognitive functions in elderly with mild cognitive impairment

Objective:To examine the impact of sleep quality on cognitive function in older adults with mild cognitive impairment(MCI)and explore the potential mediating role of depression.Methods:Using a cross-sectional design, we conducted an on-site questionnaire survey among 310 elderly individuals with MCI in Haishu District, Ningbo City from April to June 2021.Out of the 310 questionnaires collected, 299 were deemed valid.The survey encompassed gathering basic demographic information of the participants, as well as administering the Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale, Patient Health Questionnaire Depression Scale, and Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index Scale.Results:The cognitive functions of patients with MCI were found to be positively related to their education level( F=3.89, P<0.05).The correlation analysis indicated that sleep quality was positively correlated with depression( r=0.40, P<0.01)and negatively correlated with cognitive function( r=-0.22, P<0.01).Furthermore, a significant negative correlation was observed between depression and cognitive function( r=-0.20, P<0.01).The mediation analysis revealed that depression played a role in mediating the influence of sleep quality on cognitive function, with a mediation effect of -0.02(95% CI: -0.03--0.01). Conclusions:The cognitive function of elderly individuals with MCI can be significantly affected by sleep quality, with depression playing a mediating role.
4.3D-printed biomimetic hydrogel for repairing tissue damage in motor systems

BACKGROUND:Trauma,inflammation,tumors,and other factors commonly result in tissue defects,including damage to bones,joints,skeletal muscles,and associated blood vessels and nerves.Clinically,it is often challenging to repair all the functional injuries involving these tissues,posing great challenges for clinical treatment. OBJECTIVE:To elucidate the application of 3D-printed hydrogel biomimetic structures in motor system tissue injuries. METHODS:Relevant literature published from 2003 to 2023 was retrieved from the CNKI,Wanfang Data,and PubMed databases.The Chinese and English search terms were"3D printing,hydrogel,bone,cartilage,muscle,nerve,vasculature,tissue engineering,biomimetics".After screening,induction and summary,63 relevant articles were finally included for review. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:(1)3D-printed hydrogels can be achieved in several different ways,such as direct 3D printing,hybrid mode 3D printing,or manufacturing 3D bio-inspired structures in hydrogels by printing intermediate molds.Among these manufacturing processes,extrusion-based printing is currently the most widely used for 3D printing hydrogels with bio-inspired structures.(2)Bioprinting hydrogels enables the production of biovascular structures with complex perfusion patterns,and it can induce the formation of biologically relevant,highly organized,and intact blood vessels.(3)By utilizing bioprinting technology,it is possible to mimic the hierarchical structure and function of natural bone,combining hydrogels with different types of cells and growth factors to create tissue engineering scaffolds that closely resemble the composition and structure of natural bone,thereby facilitating better bone regeneration.(4)Neural fiber structure can be bio-inspired by incorporating different fiber materials into the 3D-printed hydrogel conduit structure.(5)Utilizing specific hydrogel formulations,it is possible to simulate muscle bundle structures or engineer muscle tissues integrating blood vessels and nerves,which can enhance the repair of volumetric muscle injuries in vivo.(6)Based on current related research,methacrylated gelatin,which closely resembles the characteristics of the extracellular matrix,is often considered as a raw material for 3D printing various tissue bio-inspired structures.Researchers also incorporate different growth factors or cells into the hydrogels for bioprinting to achieve the desired tissue repair outcomes.(7)Although there is a lack of clinical trial reports on 3D-printed hydrogel bio-inspired structures,this indicates that the clinical translation of such materials still requires a long-term process.Further improvements are needed in terms of clinical applications,as well as comprehensive in vivo safety assessments.
