Physical and psychological stresses inhibit or harm reproductive endocrine especially female one at many levels of hypothalamo-pituitary-gonadal (HPG) axis, and result in subhealth conditions or clinic diseases in reproductive endocrine. The hypothalamic corticotropin-releasing factor (CRF) and adrenal glucocorticoids (GCS) overreleases and other neuroendocrine alterations induced by stress are implicated in the mechanisms responsible for the disturbance of reproductive endocrine. The declines in activities of synzyms for reproductive hormones cause sexual hormones reduces and disfunction in reproductive endocrine system.

Objective We sought to summarize the experience in nursing the patients of Robertsonian translocation receiving pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD).Methods Thirty-eight patients with Robertsonian translocation received PGD.These patients received health education and psychological nursing except for routine therapy and nursing. Results All these patients had no obvious negative emotion and complied with the therapy.Nine patients were successfully pregnant and pregnancy rate was 23.7%,7 of them delivered healthy neonates. Conclusions Health education, psychology nursing together with controlled ovarian stimulation, egg retrieval and embryonic transplantation can reduce negative emotion, improve compliance of therapy, and benefit the process of PGD and clinical outcomes.

Objective To assess the clinical significance of changes tumor necrosis factor(TNF)-alpha level and the relationship between serum TNF-? and glucose levels in patients with gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM). Methods 71 patients with gestational diabetes mellitus were enrolled.40 normal pregnant women were assigned to be control group. Then the concentrations of blood glucose and TNF-? were determined. Results Blood TNF-? level in GDM patients was signficantly higher than that in normal pregnant women(P

As one of the important indexes for the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases, cardiac output can reflect the state of cardiovascular system timely, and can play a guiding role in the treatment of related diseases. In recent years detection technology of cardiac output has caused great attention, especially minimally invasive and non-invasive methods. In this paper, the principle of non-invasive detection methods and their recent developments are described, and various detection methods are also analyzed.

Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2008;24(24):21-22
Objective To probe the effect of nursing interventions on depression of patients with acute stroke. Methods 72 cases of stroke patients with depression screened by Hamilton depression scale (HAMD)were divided into the intervention group and the control group with 36 cases in each group. The control group received routine treatment. The intervention group wag given nursing intervention based on routine treatment. The effect was assessed before and after 3,6 and 12 months of intervention with Zung self-rating depression scale(SDS)and improved Rankin scale(MRS). Results The value of SDS after 3,6 or 12 months was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05),and the value of MRS was significantly higher than that of the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion Nursing intervention can reduce depression in patients with post-stroke depression.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the restrained factors in the disposal of medical dispute caused by nosocomial infection and try to find out the method to solve the problem. METHODS The several restrained factors in the disposal of medical dispute about nosocomial infection were enumerated and analyzed. RESULTS There are several restrained factors in the disposal of medical dispute about nosocomial infection according to law. First, nosocomial infection can not be died out, and medical dispute about nosocomial infection will exist for ever as a result of the specialty of supply of medical service. Secondly, current legal system construction of nosocomial infection management in our country is in the stage of being established and consummated step by step. Determinant criteria of medical negligence behavior are not perfect. Feasibility of part of the actual rules and standard in nosocomial infection is not good. Thirdly, collecting evidence is very difficult in some medical dispute caused by nosocomial infection . It is restricted by hospital condition, medical cost and medical documents. Because of the restrained factors mentioned above, when nosocomial infection occurs, medical workers concerned can not find or confirm the reason of infection in most cases. Then hospital has to compensate patients for loss in order to make concessions to avoid trouble. CONCLUSIONS We make following suggestions for the status. First, we should strengthen legal system construction about nosocomial infection, and safeguard both of hospital and patients′ interests . Secondly, insurance system of medical risk should be perfected. Thirdly, medical workers should abide by rules of operation. Fourthly, we can not hide the truth when nosocomial infection occurs. Fifthly, we must fulfil the "attention duty" in order to reduce medical dispute.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 1993;0(03):-
Objective To observe the effects of acute stress on reproductive- endocrine function in female adult rats. Methods Acute immobilization stress was used to challenge the female adult rats and then the serum levels of progesterone (P), estradiol (E2) and corticosterone were measured 2 h after the stress. Results Acute stress significantly reduced E2 levels in each period of sexual cycle and increased the levels of P and corticosterone in the stressed rats.In addition, the ratio of estradiol and progesterone was disordered in stressed rats. Conclusion Acute stress can cause the disorder of estradiol and progesterone.Since stress is a major factor contributing to reproductive- endocrine disorder, this model will be useful for the research and development of drugs for reproductive- endocrine disorder.

Traditional Chinese Drug Research & Clinical Pharmacology 2000;0(06):-
Objective To observe the effects of repeated immobilization on rats ovarian function and to observe the changes of ovarian function in menopause animals. Methods Daily vaginal smears were permfored to follow the estrous cycle in adult female rats. The animals with regular cycle were exposed to the scheduled daily repeated immobilization for 15-day,which included 5 stress episodes with each episode consisting of three immobilizations (one time per day). The duration of immobilization was progressively increased with the subsequent episode. Serum levels of estradiol (E2) and progesterone (P) were measured throughout the estrous cycle before and after the stress. Results The repeated stress resulted in the disruption of the estrous cycle characterized by longer phase of diestrus or by fewer epithelium from vagina in proestrus and estrus. In the stressed rats, a significant decrease of serum E2 and an increase of P were shown throughout the cycle compared to that before stress;the normal secretion cycle was interrupted or even disappeared; changes of serum P level in some rats were similar to the menopause animals. Conclusion Repeated immobilization can cause the disruption or degeneration of ovarian function, indicating that rats with stress-induced ovarian dysfunction is an appropriate animal model for testing protective effects of agents against aging and for the diseases related to ovarian dysfunction.

Objective To discusses the value of combined CA125 and CT/MR/ in diagnosing the ovarian thecoma. Methods Forty cases of patients with ovarian thecoma were retrospectively analyzed. The results of CA125 and the appearance of CT and MRI were recorded, the value of CA125 changes and CT/MRI features was analysed in the diagnosis of ovarian thecoma. Results The value of CA125 elevated in 17 cases of ovarian thecoma, and showed statistical significance in the ratio((12/35 vs.5/5;x2=2.274,P=0.046) and the levels of the value of CA125 ((90.24 ± 18.56) U/ml vs.(243.35 ± 20.45) U/ml;t =7.780,P =0.002).Compared with 40 cases of control group, elevated CA125 level showed no obviously statistical significance (t =5.348,P=0.22).Forty patients in CT and MRI were all single lesion,30 cases were solid neoplasm, the rest were cystic-solidary lesions or priority of cystic component,75% lesions were more than 5 cm,9 cases of lesions contains calcification. In pre-enhanced CT and MR/scan the lesions showed iso-density or signal-intensity,mildly enhanced;Twenty-two patients with ascites and 11 cases with symptoms in the elevating of estrogen.Combined the results of CA125 and the apperaance of CT and MR/,the accuracy of the diagnosis in ovarian thecoma was 85%.Conclusion CT and MR/imaging combining with CA125 can improve the diagnosis accuracy of ovarian thecoma.which should be given priorities.
