Objective To measure the reliability and validity of the Lam Assessment of Stages of Employment Readiness (LASER) Putonghua version for injured workers, and observe the confidence of return to work on different preparation stages. Methods 85 injured workers with limb fractures were included. The data was obtained through face-to-face structured interview. The test-retest reliability and internal consistency were measured. Factor analysis was used to examine construct validity of the Putonghua version LASER. Results Principle component analysis extracted four factors, which was consistent with the original version of LASER. Intra- class correlation coefficient (ICC) of test-retest ranged 0.27~0.89, whereas the internal consistence among these 4 stages ranged 0.691~0.796. There were significantly differences in confident scores in different stages among 3 different confidence groups. Conclusion The structure validity of Putonghua version
of LASER is useful for reflecting the readiness of injured workers' return to work. However, the reliability coefficient is rather low in some of the items, which could be resulted in incorrect judgment of readiness of return to work of injured workers. The further study on items correction and development is apparent.

Objective To explore the case management model of return to work injured workers. Methods A retrospective cohort wasformed with 523 injured workers in rehabilitation centre. The social demographic information, medical data and intervention process wereextracted from the medical records. A Cox Regression Model was used to examine the effect of case management on work processes and otherrelevant factors affecting RTW. Results 275 cases (82.1%) out of the 335 subjects successfully returned to work after median absence durationof 36.0 days. Computer training prompted RTW outcomes (P<0.01), while disability adjustment activity showed an opposite effect(P<0.05). It showed that education level, family attitude to RTW and level of injury were significantly associated with outcomes of RTW.Conclusion Specific skills reconstruction and training would is one of the most important components of the case management interventionprogram on RTW. Although disability adjustment did not specifically benefit RTW, it might help in improving workers' general health status, and it should not be ignored in any case.

Objective To explore the analgesic mechanisms of sufentanil. Methods 17 (8 male, 9 female) healthy right-handed volunteersreceived functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) scan before and after sufentanil 0.2 ng/ml administration respectively. Thalamuswas as the region of interest (ROI). All the processing works were carried out using the Statistical Parametric Mapping. Results Comparedwith the basic state, significantly weaker functional connectivity was mainly found in the region of bilateral rectal gyrus and the left inferiaorbital gyrus of the frontal lobe, while significantly greater functional connectivity was found in bilateral cerebellum, the right cingulategyrus and the left middle temporal gyrus (P<0.001, cluster>13 mm3). Conclusion Thalamus plays a key role in the central analgesia ofsufentanil, which associated with the functional connectivity of bilateral rectal gyrus and the left inferia orbital gyrus of the frontal lobe, bilateralcerebellum, the right cingulate gyrus and the left middle temporal gyrus.

Objective To explore the situation of return-to-work (RTW) and its related factors in female injured works. Methods The da-ta of the basic information, counseling record and follow-up record after discharge were collected from social rehabilitation department in our center. The main influencing factors were analyzed by single factor analysis and two classification Logistic regression. Results 232 ob-jects were collected, among which, 149(64.2%) subjects had returned to work, and the median of absence time was 206.5 days. Single factor analysis indicated that their age, marriage, absence time and educational level were not correlated with the outcome of women injured work-ers' employment (P>0.05). However, place of social insurance, household register and injury severity correlated with the outcome (P<0.05). Conclusion Most of the female injured workers can return to work. The severity of injury, along with some system factors influence the RTW of them.

Objective The aim of this study is to clone and characterize a novel Trichomonas vaginalis Rabl-like geue (TvRabl-like) with a small intron. Methods The eDNA clone of TvRabl-like gene was isolated from a cDNA expression library and sequenced. Sequence analysis was performed using BLASTP, RPS-BLAST ClustalW programs.Phylogenetic analysis was carried out by MEGA3 program. The genomic DNA and mRNA of TvRab1-like gene were amplified using PCR and RT-PCR techniques respectively and also sequenced. Results The eDNA sequence of TvRab1-like gene had a length of 705 base pairs with an open reading frame of 603 bp. The deduced amino acid sequence from the open reading frame possessed 200 residuals corresponding to a putative M.W. 22532.2 and an estimated pl of 7.4. Sequence analysis demonstrated that TvRab1-like gene showed the highest homology to T. vaginalis Rabla (63% identity and 79% similarity) and the Rabl subfamily of other species, suggesting that the deduced amino acid sequence from this cDNA clone was a Rabl isoform. Phylogenetic analysis showed that TvRab1-like gene was clustered with T.vaginalis Rab1 subfamily in the phylogenetic tree. Sequencing of the PCR product of genomic DNA revealed that the genomic DNA possessed a 25 bp intron which contained canonical 5' GT-AG-3' and branch site motifs as those larger introns found in T.vaginalis and other eukaryotes. The analysis of RT-PCR products demonstrated the presence of the unspliced mRNA and spliced mRNA, indicating that there was a intron. Conclusion These data suggest that TvRabl-like gene belongs to T.vaginalis Rabl subfamily. TvRabl-like gene possesses a 25 bp splieeosomal intron which is the smallest one of the introns identified in this deepest-branching protist and might be the shortest intron of eukaryotes. Study of those introns might provide more insights into the intron evolution of eukaryotes.

Objective To discuss with the principles and methods of whole rehabilitation plan including occupational rehabilitation and community re-integration for injured workers.MethodsAfter following up on 371 injured workers, 14 intensive investigation and follow-up injured workers' cases were taken out as samples and studied according to some elements including gender and family role, degree of physical disability, rehabilitation process, compensation for work injury. The status of occupational rehabilitation and community re-integration and affected factors were also analyzed.ResultsThe factors affecting injured workers' occupational rehabilitation and community re-integration included the degree of physical disability, gender and family role, compensation for work injury, work injury rehabilitation policy and the model of work injury rehabilitation service management by multi-professional group.ConclusionThe whole injury rehabilitation plan should be considered the needs of injury worker basic medical treatment, occupational rehabilitation and community re-integration, the appropriate support and guidance should be provided and the model of one stage and intensive investigation work injury rehabilitation service management should be established early.
