Caroli's disease is a rare autosomal recessive hereditary disease. The low mobidity, insufficient awareness of doctor and complex clinical manifestations of the disease are likely to result in misdiagnosis and missed diagnosis.The pathogen, typing, pathology, clinical manifesation and therapy of this disease are discussed to recognise the disease better.

Objective To investigate the value of thorough uterine curettage in microwave endometrial ablation(MEA).Methods Preoperative uterine curettage was conducted in 126 women with abnormal uterine bleeding(AUB)scheduled for MEA from June 2001 to June 2005.At the same period,another 12 patients with AUB underwent hysterectomy.And before the operation,uterine curettage and subsequent MEA were conducted.Then the uterine specimens were histopathologically and histochemically examined for evaluating the tissue damages.Results No intraoperative complications occurred in the 126 patients.Postoperatively,amenorrhea was observed in 78 patients(61.9%),normal menstruation was achieved in 46 patients(36.5%),and small amount of irregular vaginal bleeding was found in 2 patients(1.6%),the overall satisfaction rate being 98.4%(124/126).Postoperative complications included endometritis in 10 patients,hematometra in 2 patients,and dysmenorrhoea leading to hysterectomy in 2 patients.Follow-up observations were conducted for 6～28 months(22?4 months)in 126 patients,116 of whom were followed for more than 2 years.Follow-up findings showed satisfactory surgical effects.After MEA,the injury depth was 4.2～4.9 mm in the uterine fundus,4.1～5.7 mm in the anterior wall,4.7～6.6 mm in the posterior wall,and 4.0～4.7 mm in the uterine horn.Conclusions MEA with preoperative thorough uterine curettage can completely destruct the endometrium.The method offers good efficacy,high satisfactory rate,and low risk of tissue injury.

Superficial peroneal nerve biopsy identified myelin degeneration of myelinated nerve fibers, axonal degeneration or disappearance, degeneration of Schwann cell and also involved perineurium. The change was due to avitaminosis for long-term drinking.

Therefore,the basic pathogenesis of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases should be imbalance of qi and blood. Any causative agent is bound to influence the harmony of qi and blood once it attacks the heart and brain,its evolving laws are qi stagnancy and blood stasis at early stage,subsequent cementation of phlegm and blood stasis,and more qi deficiency and more blood stasis in the end. Regulating qi and activating blood circulation may harmonize qi and blood,balance yin and yang,which should be served as the basic therapeutic method for treating cardio-cerebrovascular diseases.

ObjectiveTo explore the correlations of university students'love style,dysfunctional attitude,and love satisfaction and life satisfaction.MethodsA total of 552 college students were assessed with relationship assessment scale(RAS),dysfunctional attitude scale(DAS),loving style scale(LSS) and life satisfaction index-A (LSIA).Results ( 1 ) The score of RAS of erotic loving style was ( 27.85 ± 4.624 ) significantly higher than the counterparts of the ludus loving style,which was (23.89 ± 4.061 ) (P ＜ 0.01 ).(2) There were significantly positive correlations among eros loving style,storge loving style,agape loving style,pragma loving style,life satisfaction and loving satisfaction,and negative correlations among Ludus loving style,dysfunctional attitude and loving satisfaction.(3)Loving satisfaction could be significantly predicted by dysfunctional attitude,eros loving style,ludus loving style,pragma loving style and storge loving style.ConclusionsLoving style and dysfunctional attitude can significantly predict loving satisfaction.

ObjectiveTo review the etiology and classification of cholangiectasia. MethodThe clinical data of 1098 patients with cholangiectasia treated from January 2000 to December 2009 were retrospectively analyzed. Results For the 1098 patients, 69 patients (6.3％) had congenital choledochal cyst, and 1029 patients (93.7％) had secondary cholangiectasia which were secondary to 22 diseases, The top 5 of the etiological diseases were bile duct stones (366 patients, 33.3 ％), pancreatic head carcinoma (137 patients, 12.5％), peri-ampullary carcinoma (122 patients, 11.1％), cholangiocarcinoma (68 patients,6.2％),and chronic pancreatitis or pancreatic head cyst (62 patients,5.6 ％). ConclusionsCholangiectasia can be divided into two major categories (congenital and secondary). Congenital choledochal cyst accounted for 6.0％, secondary cholangiectasia accounted for 94 ％.The most common etiologies were bile duct stones, pancreatic head carcinoma and peri-ampullar carcinoma.

Objective To explore the application and efficacy of autogenous septal cartilage in the correction of cleft lip nasal deformity.Methods A total of 31 patients with secondary nasal deformity of cleft lip were involved in this study.After autologous nasal cartilage was released,the dislocation of nasal cartilage was corrected,nasal septum cartilage was used as substitute to raise the alar collapse,to reshape the nasal tip cartilage structure and correct the nasal deformity.Results Postoperative incision was primarily healing.For cartilage donor area there was no serious complications,and incision scar was concealed and unobvious; after 6 months to 2 years follow-up,there was no cartilage absorption deformation,the tip of the nose was flat,crack side nosewing collapses,and nasal columella skew was totally corrected,with stable rhinoplasty effects.Conclusions For secondary nasal deformity of cleft lip,the use of nasal septum cartilage to repair nose deformity can not only solve the cartilage source,but also give septal straightening and at the same time the correction effect of external nasal deformity is good.

Objective:To investigate the efficacy of warm acupuncture at Biguan(ST 31) in treating post-apoplectic restless legs syndrome. Methods:Fifty patients were randomly divided into treatment and control groups by a waiting control method in order of hospitalization. The treatment group received deep acupuncture at point Biguan(ST 31) plus moxibustion and the control group took L-dopa orally. The curative effects were compared after 28 days' treatment. Results: The total efficacy rate was 76.00% in the treatment group and 26.00% in the control group. There was a significant difference. Conclusion:Warm acupuncture at Biguan(ST 31) is effective in treating post-apoplectic restless legs syndrome.

Objective To study the effects of Poly(I:C) on lung adenocarcinoma A549 cells viability and illuminate the mechanism of Poly (I:C)-induced apoptosis in A549 cells.Methods A549 cells were transfected with the complex of Poly(I:C) and lipofectamine 3000.The viability of A549 cells was tested by methyl thiazolyl tetrazolium (MTF) method.The apoptotic cells were tested by flow cytometry.The caspase proteins were tested by Western blotting and the expressions of interferon-β (IFN-β) and CXCL-10 were assayed by real-time PCR.After employing the pan-caspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK and caspase-8 inhibitor Z-IETD-FMK,the variation of Poly (I:C) proapoptosis in A549 cells was observed.RNA interfering experiments were employed to knock down melanoma differentiation related antigen 5 (MDA5) or retinoic acidinduced gene Ⅰ (RIG-Ⅰ),and the above indexes were tested.Results The viability of A549 cells was significantly reduced to 74.92％ ±--6.24％ after 200 ng/ml Poly (I:C) transfection compared with that before transfection (95.32％ ± 3.05％,t =2.883,P =0.041).The apoptotic rates induced by 100,200,400 ng/ml Poly(I:C) were 9.97％-± 0.88％,23.63％-± 1.41％,32.57％-± 2.39％,respectively.All of them were higher than that in the control group (0.74％-± 0.15％),with significant differences (t =4.489,P =0.002;t =11.616,P =0.000;t =16.932,P =0.000).Besides,the death receptor pathway proteins such as TNF-related apoptosis inducing ligand (TRAIL),cleaved-caspase-8 and cleaved-caspase-3 increased obviously.MDA5/RIG-Ⅰ pathway was also activated dramatically and the expressions of IFN-β,CXCL-10 were significantly up-regulated.The apoptotic rates reduced to 3.17％ ± 0.66％,5.35％ ± 0.64％ with pancaspase inhibitor Z-VAD-FMK and caspase-8 inhibitor Z-IETD-FMK pretreatment,compared with the control group (15.87％ ±0.93％),and the differences were statistically significant (t =8.643,P =0.001;t =6.824,P =0.002).Moreover,the expressions of TRAIL,IFN-β and CXCL-10 induced by Poly (I:C) were inhibited with MDA5 or RIG-Ⅰ depletion.Conclusion Poly(I:C) can reduce the survival rate of A549 cells and promote the apoptosis mainly by activating the death-receptor pathway mediated by MDA5/RIG-Ⅰ probably,which may involve in IFN-β,CXCL-10.

Simple sequence repeat (SSR) was used to investigate the genetic diversity and structure of Dendrobium officinale. A total of 15 primer pairs with stable and repeatable polymorphism were screened out from 60 SSR primer pairs developed by the method of microsatellite enrichment by magnetic beads. Forty-eight samples of Dendrobium officinale were analyzed in genetic polymorphism. These loci were polymorphic and displayed 3 to 9 alleles per locus with a mean number of 6.1. The observed and expected heterozygosities ranged from 0.60 to 0.85 and from 0.49 to 0.85 respectively. The polymorphic information content (PIC) of each SSR locus varied from 0.437 to 0.829 with an average of 0.702. Fifteen primer pairs were used in Dendrobium cross-species amplification and totally 13 primer pairs were proved to have the transferability in D. officinale related species. In addition, 500 tissue culture plantlets of D. officinale were tested for purity identification by means of PCR amplification with four SSR primer pairs. The results showed that SSR technique is a feasible, simple and inexpensive method for determining adulterants in germplasm identification.
