Chinese Journal of Practical Nursing 2013;(12):1-3
Objective To analyze the prevalence of postpartum depression in China. Methods CNKI,Chongqing VIP database,CBMDISK,Pubmed databases were searched for articles about postpartum depression prevalence in China published during 1996~2012.The random effects model was employed. Results There were 84 articles which provided 52 776 samples, and 8390 cases of depressive symptoms were detected. The pooled prevalence was 14.7%(13.1%~16.3%),The prevalence of postpartum depression was different in different regions, municipality directly under the central government was the lowest 10.9%(8.7%~12.7%),county area was the highest 16.4% (11.9%~22.2%).From the east of China to the central and to the west, the prevalence rate assumed the trend of escalation. The prevalence which evaluated by standard of EPDS ≥ 10 was higher than the prevalence evaluated by EPDS ≥ 13 and SDS ≥50.Conclusions The prevalence of postpartum depression is high in China.More attention should be paid to the central, western of China, urban, rural and other underdeveloped areas.

Chinese Journal of Orthopaedics 1996;0(09):-
Objective\ To study the early diagnosis and treatment of the fracture of posterior medial tubercle of the talus (PMTT).Methods\ Five cases of PMTT fractures had been definitely diagnosed by CT scan. Subtalar joint were involved in three cases, open reduction and internal fixation (ORIF) had been adopted in 2;and 1 had been treated conservatively because of the refusal to surgery by the patient. Plaster cast fixation and excision of fragment was done respectively in one case. Results\ Four out of five cases had been correctly diagnosed and one had been misdiagnosed in the first visit. The mean follow up was 24 months. Non union combined with tenderness and numbness of the sole of the foot was found in the misdiagnosed case after 6 months. Excision of the fragment was carried out for this case and a satisfactory result had been achieved. Three of the other four cases was treated operatively with a good result and one were treated conservatively with a poor result. Conclusion\ The PMTT fractures are rarely seen and often misdiagnosed. Early diagnosis and correct treatment is important to eliminate the nonunion or tarsal tunnel syndrome.

Objective To study the proliferation promoting effect on osteoblast cells induced by sodium orthovanadate and whether nitric oxide (NO) was involved in this process. Methods MTT assay was employed to determine cell proliferation and its inhibition. The level of NO was measured by enzyme reduction method. Results The MTT values of MC3T3-E1 cells under the 2.5,5.0,10.0 ?mol/L of sodium orthovanadate were 0.3380?0.0045, 0.3400?0.0141, 0.3840?0.0313 respectively, which were higher than in control group (0.2540?0.0167)(P

AIM: To observe the growthinhibiting cell cycle-modifying and apoptosis-inducing effects of satraplatin on human ovarian carcinoma cell line A2780, and to explore its possible mechanism. METHODS: The effect of satraplatin on A2780 cells proliferation was determined using MTT, and the change in cell cycle was analyzed using PI staining. Morphologic change was visualized by fluorescence and electron microscopy. AnnexinV-FITC/PI staining multiparameter flow cytometry and immuno- histochemical TUNEL assay were used to detect apoptotic cells. The activity of caspase-3 and the effect of pan-caspase inhibitor on cell viability were measured as well. RESULTS: The growthinhibiting and apoptosis-inducing effects of satraplatin were dose-dependent and similar to those of cisplatin. Satraplatin mainly caused A2780 cell accumulation in S phase accompanied by minor accumulation in G2/M phase. Cells treated with satraplatin exhibited typical morphology of apoptosis. Satraplatin-induced increase in caspase-3 activity of A2780 cells was concentration-dependent. The viability of A2780 cells was affected by pan-caspase inhibitor z-VAD-fmk in a dose-dependent manner under certain concentration of z-VAD-fmk. CONCLUSION: Satraplatin-induced apoptosis in A2780 in vitro was observed. Caspase-dependent and independent pathways were involved in apoptosis induced by satraplatin, and the latter included caspase-3 dependent and non-caspase-3 dependent pathways.

Objective:To investigate the quality of Herba Leonuri Preparations sold in market. Methods: The alkaloid content in preparations was determined according to the determination method in China Pharmacopoeia (1995). Results: There were significant differences among Herba Leonuri Preparations from different pharmaceutical factories, place of origin and batches. Conclusions: It is suggested that the determination item of stachydrine hydrochloride be added.

Objective To observe the effect of breviscapine on the open probability(Po)and the average open time(To) of L-type calcium channel in the hippocampal neurons of the whole brain ischemia-reperfusion rat model. Methods The whole brain ischemia rat model was established. At the reperfusion periods of 1.5 h,3.0 h,4.5 h and 6.0 h,the hippoeampal CA1 neurons were dissociated abruptly and the Ca~(2+)electricity of single channel on the neuron membrane were recorded with cell-attach model of patch clamp techniques. The Po and To of the L-type calcium channel were an- alyzed and the effect of the breviscapine was observed. Results Different concentrations of breviscapine can decrease the Po and To of the L-type calcium channel in hippoeampal neurons, particularly within 3 hours after ischemia-reperfu- sion. Conclusions Breviscapine has protective effect on the cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury.

OBJECTIVE To investigate the distribution of Pseudomonas aeruginosa and its antibiotic resistance in(emergency) intensive care unit(EICU) patients with lower respiratory infections.METHODS The data of the pathogens isolated in sputum from the 25 patients with lower respiratory infections admitted to EICU from(Aug) 2005 to Feb 2006 were collected and analyzed.RESULTS Eighty-one bacteria strains were found in these 25 EICU cases. The Gram-negative bacteria were the main pathogens of infection(43.2%),after them were Gram-positive bacteria(32.1%),and fungi(24.7%).The percentage of P.aeruginosa infection was 13.6% of all(patients). The antibiotic resistance for P.aeruginosa was found to the antibiotics, such as cefotaxime,gentamicin,(SMZ-TMP),minocycline,levofloxacin,and gatifloxacin.CONCLUSIONS The P.aeruginosa infection and its(antibiotic) resistance should be paid more attention in the treatment of the lower respiratory infection patients in EICU.
