1.Fine management practice of hospital water supply facilities based on JCI standard

Management of hospital water supply facilities is key to its logistics management.This paper cited the domestic water supply facilities management as an example, and summed up practical experiences in both JCI certification and review along with the hospital′s fine management of water facilities.On such basis, it described such aspects as the establishment of management system, operation standards and work flow, implementation of preventive maintenance, renovation, emergency protection, inspection supervision, file management and staff training.These efforts provide reference for how to establish the fine management mode of water supply facilities.
2.Amniotic cells protect and repair mouse brain cells following ischemia-reperfusion injury

BACKGROUND:Amniotic cells are mainly composed of amniotic epithelial cells and amniotic mesenchymal cells, which have multi-differentiation potential and can be transformed into neurons as wel as synthesize and release biological y active substances and neurotrophic factors. In preliminary studies, amniotic cells that are transplanted into the brain can significantly promote the regeneration of brain neurons. OBJECTIVE:To explore the role of amniotic cells in mouse brain cells after ischemia-reperfusion injury. METHODS:The model of cerebral ischemia-reperfusion injury was established in Babl/c mice using occlusion of bilateral common carotid arteries, and then brain cells were separated from mice. Amniotic cells were isolated from mouse placenta. Brain cells from Balb/C mice co-cultured with amniotic cells served as experimental group, and brain cells cultured with PBS as control group. RESULTS AND CONCLUSION:The viability of brain cells in the experimental group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). There was no difference in necrotic rate of brain cells between the experimental and control groups after 24 and 72 hours co-culture (P>0.05);after 48 hours co-culture, however, the necrotic rate of brain cells was significantly lower in the experimental group than the control group (P<0.05). In cellcycle, the experiment group showed increased S phase cells;while, the control group exhibited increased G 1 phase cells and decreased S phase cells. G 2 phase cells had no changes in number in both two groups. Through the above results, amnion cells can be proved to protect and promote the regeneration of brain cells of Balb/C mice with ischemia-reperfusion injury, and inhibit cellnecrosis and apoptosis.
3.Radiological and clinical pathological analysis for primary leiomyosarcoma of bone

Objective To analyze the clinical,radiological and pathological features of primary leiomyosarcoma of bone and to im-prove the diagnostic level.Methods Totally 6 cases of PLB proved by pathology were collected in our study.The clinical,radiologi-cal and pathological findings were retrospectively analyzed,and combined with the relevant literature to have a comprehensive analy-sis.Results The lesions of 6 patients were solitary,located in femoral (1 case),distal femur (1 case),proximal tibia (2 cases),is-chium (1 case)and humerus (1 case).There was no periosteal reaction in all 6 cases but they all had soft tissue mass,sometimes there may have some mineralization within the tumor.Ill-defined osteolytic bone destruction was detected in 5 patients,while expan-sion of cystic bone destruction was found in the other 1 patients.3 cases had hardened edge,2 cases with adjacent bone cortical thickening.The MR imaging in 5 patients showed iso-intensity signal on T1 WI,a slightly inhomogeneously higher signal on T2 WI and a significant heterogeneously enhancement after injected of Gd-DTPA.Another 1 patient showed a double ring sign,the central area onT1 WI and T2 WI expressed heterogeneous slightly higher signal,the peripheral annular zone was iso-intensity on T1 WI and slightly higher on T2 WI,after injected contrast medium,it was inhomogeneous enhancement.In immunohistochemically,all tumors reacted positively with SMA,3 patients with Desmin and Vimentin positive,2 patients with Ki-67 positive,and there had some scat-tered cells with CD68 positive,but the S-100 were all negative.Conclusion The clinical,radiological and conventional histological manifestations of PLB are not specific.Immunohistochemical and/or ultrastructural analysis who displayed smooth muscle differenti-ation can confirm the diagnosis.
4.Relationship between Resting Heart Rate and Coronary Syndrome

Objective To investigate the relationship between resting heart rate (RHR) and coronary heart disease (CHD) and to explore the value of RHR in predicting the occurrence of acute coronary syndrome. Methods 445 patients with CHD were divided into stable angina group and acute coronary syndrome group. RHR, risk factors for coronary heart disease and their correlation were analyzed. Results RHR was higher in the acute coronary syndrome group than in the stable angina group (P<0.01). Logistic regression analysis showed that RHR (OR =1.052, 95% CI: 1.009~1.097, P=0.017), systolic blood pressure (OR=1.027, 95% CI: 1.003~1.053, P=0.031) and hyperglycemia (OR=2.743, 95% CI: 1.207~6.233, P=0.016) were independent risk factors for acute coronary syndrome. Conclusion RHR is an independent risk factor for incidence of acute coronary syndrome.
5.Defect of thiamine transport and activation and related disease.

Thiamine, also known as vitamin B1, is an important vitamin for the body. The activated form of thiamine pyrophosphate is involved in cell metabolism as an important co-enzyme. Defects of thiamine transport and activation may cause lack of thiamine and affection of cell metabolism, leading a variety of diseases. This review has summarized defects of thiamine transport and activation and related diseases.
6.Application of progressive case teaching method based on core competency in standardized nursing training

Objective:To explore the application effect of progressive case teaching method based on core competency in standardized nursing training.Methods:A total of 63 nursing students rotated in department of neurosurgery from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected as the research objects and randomized into experimental group ( n=31) and control group ( n=32). The experimental group adopted the progressive case teaching method based on core competency, and the control group adopted the conventional teaching mode. The data was analyzed using SPSS 26.0 to conduct t-test or non-parametric test based on the data normality for comparing the theory results, objective structure clinical examination (OSCE) scores, core competency, self-directed learning ability scores, teaching satisfaction and nursing satisfaction of patients in two wards between the two groups. Results:The theoretical results ( t=4.74, P<0.001) and OSCE scores ( t=3.81, P<0.001) of the experimental group were better than those of the control group. The scores of core competency and autonomous learning ability ( t=4.32, P<0.001) of the experimental group were better than those of the control group. The teaching satisfaction score ( t=2.21, P=0.044) and patient satisfaction score ( t=2.92, P=0.011) of the observation group were better than those of the control group. Conclusion:The progressive case teaching method based on core competency can improve the post competency of nurses, and also improve the teaching satisfaction rate and patient satisfaction rate, which is worthy of being carried out in the subsequent teaching activities.
7.Study on Improvement Effects and Mechanism of Guizhi Fuling Pills on Phlegm-dampness Type PCOS Model Rats

OBJECTIVE:To stu dy the improvem ent effect and mechanism of Guizhi fuling pill (GZFLP) on rats with phlegm-dampness type polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS).METHODS:Totally fifty female SD rats with regular estrous cycle were randomly divided into blank control group (n=10) and model group (n=40). The model group received letrozole intragastrically [1 mg/(kg·d),for 21 d ] to induce phlegm-damp PCOS rat model. Forty model rats were randomly divided into model group ,metformin group [positive control ,0.135 g/(kg·d)] and GZFLP low-dose ,high-dose groups [4.49,17.96 g/(kg· d)],with 10 rats in each group. Each medicine group was given intragastric administration ,once a day ,for 30 consecutive days. Blank control and model group were given intragastric administration of equal volume normal saline.After last medication ,oral glucose tolerance test (OGTT)was used to detect the level of blood glucose in rats at 0,30,60 and 120 min. ELISA assay was used to detect the levels of follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH),luteinizing hormone (LH),estradiol(E2)and testosterone (T); body weight ,the weight of uterus ,bilateral ovaries and paragonadal fat were weighed. HE staining was used to observe morphological changes of ovarian tissue sections. RT-PCR method and Western blotting assay were used to detect mRNA and protein expression of CYP 19a1 in ovary and Glut 4 in uterine. RESULTS :Compared with blank control group ,the levels of blood glucose 30,60,120 min after intragastric administration of glucose solution as well as serum levels of LH ,E2 and T were increased significantly in model group (P<0.05);the body weight ,the weight of uterus ,bilateral ovaries and paragonadal fat were increased significantly (P<0.05);the volume of thecal cells increased significantly and showed spherical shape ;the mRNA and protein expression of CYP 19a1 in ovarian tissue and Glut 4 in uterine tissue were decreased significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01). Compared with model group ,above indexes of administration groups were improved significantly (P<0.05 or P<0.01);the thickness of theca cell layer and the volume of theca cells in GZFLP low-dose and high-dose groups were also improved. CONCLUSIONS:GZFLP can up-regulate the expression of CYP19a1 in ovary and Glut4 in uterus ,so as to improve the abnormal glucose metabolism in phlegm-dampness type PCOS model rats ,reduce insulin resistance ,lower serum estrogen levels ,and reduce the degree of polycystic changes in ovary ,thereby playing a role in the treatment of PCOS.
8.Effects of ovarian induction with Raloxifene versus Clomiphene Citrate on endometrial receptivity in mouse endometrium

Objective To investigate the effects of ovarian induction with raloxifene(RAL)versus clomi-phene citrate(CC)on the endometrial receptivity in mouse endometrium during perimplantation period. Methods 48 female Kun-ming mouse were randomly divided into four groups in equal number:RAL 240 mg group,RAL 180 mg group,CC group,natural conception group(NC),all treated with ovulation induction after drug administration.Successfully mated female mouse were killed,and uterus samples were collected for HE stain-ing and immunohistochemistry. Results HE staining showed that the endometrial morphology in the RAL 180 mg group and RAL 240 mg group and NC group were better than that of CC group.The expressions of COX-2 and LP-AR3 in the RAL 180 mg group and RAL 240 mg group were similar to NC group,without significant difference among the three groups(P > 0.05). But in the CC group,it was statistically significantly lower than other three groups(P<0.05),indicating ovarian induction with RAL did not decrease the expressions of COX-2 and LPAR3 in endometrium. Conclusion The mechanism of ovulation induction with RAL is similar to CC,but RAL has fewer adverse effects on the endometrial receptivity compared with CC.
9.Association between sleep duration and depressive symptoms inthe elderly

BackgroundDepression presents a significant risk to the physical and mental health of the elderly. The relationship between sleep and depressive symptoms has become a major research focus. However, previous research findings on this relationship have yielded inconsistent conclusions. ObjectiveTo explore the relationship between sleep duration and depressive symptoms in the elderly, in order to provide insights into the prevention of depressive symptoms and delaying their progression in the elderly. MethodsData analysis involved 8 210 adults aged 60 years or older, utilizing data from the 2018 China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) survey. Participants were categorized into two groups those with depressive symptoms and those without- based on the Center for Epidemiologic Studies Depression-10 Scale (CESD-10) criteria. Logistic regression and restricted cubic spline models were used to analyze the association between sleep duration and depressive symptoms. ResultsThe 318 people with depressive symptoms were detected among the 8 210 elderly participants, with an average sleep duration of (6.14±2.05) hours per night. Restricted cubic spline models showed a non-linear association between sleep duration and depressive symptoms (χ2=412.670,P<0.01). After adjusting for confounding factors, compared to the elderly with a sleep duration 7~7.9 hours, the risk of depressive symptoms in the elderly was 2.971 times higher (95% CI: 2.560~3.449, P<0.01) in those with a sleep duration <6 hours, 1.372 times higher (95% CI: 1.161~1.621, P<0.01) in those with 6~6.9 hours, and 1 185 times higher (95% CI: 1.009~1.393, P<0.05) in those with ≥8 hours. Subgroup analysis showed no correlation between sleep duration ≥8 hours and the risk of depressive symptoms across genders and the 60~69 age group (P>0.05).
