Ischemic preadaptation and ischemic postconditioning are the self-protection mechanism of the body, can reduce blood anoxic injury of brain tissue, inhibit nerve cell apoptosis, and reduce infarction area.However, due to the time of occurrence of ischemic disease is unpredictable, ischemic postconditioning research to guide clinical work more operational and practical, and thus become the focus of research. Apoptosis of programmed cell death is widespread in the process of biological life and has a close relationship with jak2/stat3/bcl-2 signaling pathway, PI3K/AKT signaling pathways and apoptotic molecules.microRNA as a class of highly conserved non-coding small RNA, its transcriptional expression involved in regulating cell value, development and apoptosis in a series of life activities.

Objective To investigate the effect of variation of cesarean sections during labour and their indications on the total cesarean section rate. Methods A total of 458 cases of cesarean section was selected from January to June of 1990,1996,2002. They were divided as indication group and no indication group. The change of the indication and cesarean section rate was compared. Results The ratio of cesarean section during labour in total cesarean sections rised. The ratio was 22.0%, 20.8% and 39.4% in 1990, 1996 and 2002 respectively. The proportion of no indication surgery in 2002(63.37%) showed significant growth as compared with that of 1990 (33.84) and 1996 (32.58). Of all cases of cesarean section having indications, the rate of trial produce failure increased in 2002 (25.81%) while it was 11.45% and 16.67% in 1990 and 1996 respectively. The rate of fetal distress decreased from 25.19% (1990), 21.67% (1996) to 12.90% (2002). Conclusion Ascen ding of cesarean section rates during labour was an important factor that increased cesarean section rate in recent years. To decrease the total rates of cesarean section, many important measures should be done such as paying more attention to social factors, reinforcing propaganda and maternal health care , encouraging spontaneous vaginal delivery, emphasizing company during labour and analgesia or pain free delivery, laying stress on the management and monitoring during first stage of labour as well as psychological care.

Objective:To analyze OLFM1 by bioinformatics and prepare its polyclonal antibody.Methods:According to the bioinformatics analysis and prediction of the possible high structure,hydrophobicity and antigenicity of OLFM1 and the principal of antibody project,a partial peptide of OLFM1 with 20-amino acid residues with was synthesized after homology search.The synthesized peptide was then used to immunize rabbit.The specificity and titer of polyclonal antibody against OLFM1 were identified via ELISA and Western blot.Results:Polyclonal antibody against OLFM1 was proved to recognize OLFM1 protein specifically,and its titers reached 1?32 000.Conclusion:By the bioinformatics analysis and prediction,the hydrophilicity and antigenicity of OLFM1 are analyzed.The polyclonal antibody against OLFM1 is successfully obtained.

Radiotherapy is one of major cancer treatment methods.However,radiation resistance is an important reason to restrict the efficacy of radiotherapy and lead to treatment failure.In recent years,the relationship between the canonical Wnt signaling pathway and tumor radiation resistance has more and more attention of the scholars.This review summarized recent ten years findings concerning the canonical Wnt signaling pathway and tumor radiation resistance and tried to find some valuable rules or some internal relationships among different pathways by systemically analyzing.

Objective To investigate the expressions of apoptosis stimulating protein of P53 (ASPP)family in colorectal carcinoma tissue and to explore their relationship with the clinicopathological characteristics of colorectal carcinoma,and to clarify the effect of ASPP family in the development of colorectal carcinoma.Methods 45 cases of colorectal carcinoma tissue and 20 cases of healthy controls were selected. Among 45 cases of colorectal carcinoma tissue, there were 1 1 cases of well differentiated colorectal carcinoma, 2 1 cases of moderately differentiated colorectal carcinoma,and 13 cases of poorly differentiated colorectal carcinoma;7 cases of T1 stage colorectal carcinoma,8 cases of T2 stage colorectal carcinoma,25 cases of T3 stage colorectal carcinoma,and 5 cases of T4 stage colorectal carcinoma;19 cases of N1 stage with lymph node metastasis,26 cases of N0 stage without lymph node metatasis.The expressions of ASPP1,ASPP2,and iASPP in 45 cases of colorectal carcinoma tissue and 20 cases of normal colon tissue were detected by immunohitochemistry SP method,and the correlations between the expressions of ASPP family and the pathologic typing,infiltrative depth,and lymph node metastasis of colorectal carcinoma were analyzed. Results ①The immunohitochemical staining results showed that the ASPP family members expressed in colorectal carcinoma tissue and normal colon tissue, and there were no significant differences in ASPP1 and ASPP2 positive rates between colorectal carcinoma tissue and normal colon tissue (P>0.05);the positive expression rate of iASPP in colon cancer tissue was higher than that in normal colon tissue (P<0.01).② The expression of ASPP1 in colon caner tissue had no correlation with the differentiation degree of tumor cells (rs=0.163,P>0.05);the expression of ASPP2 positive rate was decreased when the differentiation degree of tumor cells reduced,they had positive correlation (rs=0.454,P=0.002);the expression of iASPP in colon cancer tissue had no correlation with the differentiation degree of tumor cells (rs=-0.171,P>0.05).③ The expression of ASPP1 in colon caner tissue had no correlation with the infiltrative depth of tumor (rs=-0.268,P>0.05);the expression of ASPP2 positive rate was decreased when the tumor infiltrative depth increased,they had negative correlation (rs=-0.348,P<0.05);the expression of iASPP in colonic carcinoma caner tissue had no correlation with the infiltrative depth of tumor (rs=0.231,P>0.05).④The expressions of ASPP1,ASPP2, and iASPP in colon caner tissue had no correlation with lymph node metastasis (rs=0.089,rs=0.044,rs=0.210, P>0.05).Conclusion The expression levels of iASPP in colon cancer and normal colon tissues are different,it may be useful for the diagnosis, differential diagnosis and evaluation in benign and malignant colorectal diseases. The expression of iASPP is negatively correlated with the pathologic typing and neoplasm staging of colorectal carcinoma,it indicates that iASPP can be used as a indicator in judging the prognosis of colorectal carcinoma.

Objective To study the antitumor mechanism of DHA compound. Methods RT-PCR was used to investigate the effects of DHA compound on H-Ras and pl6 mRNA transcription in gastric adenocarcinoma. Results Compared with control, the content of H-Ras mRNA was decreased and the content of p16 mRNA was increased in gastric adenocarcinoma significantly after treated with DHA compound. Conclusion The transcription of H-Ras gene was decreased and the transcription of pl6 gene was increased in gastric adenocarcinoma after treated with DHA compound and thus the cancer cell growth was inhibited.

Objective To investigate the CT features of hepatic echinococcosis in children.Methods Clinical and CT data of 27 cases with hepatic echinococcosis confirmed by pathology and/or serology were retrospectively analyzed.Results Totally there were 26 cases of cystic echinococcosis and 1 case of alveolar echinococcosis.Ten cases were with simple hepatic echinococcosis and 17 cases with other organic echinococcosis,18 cases of intrahepatic single hydatid and 9 cases of intrahepatic multiple hydatid.A total of 1 alveolar lesion and 47 cystic lesions were found,including unilocular cyst accounted for 51.06％ (24/47),cysts with collapse of the internal capsule accounted for 42.55％ (20/47),cysts with wall calcification accounted for 4.26％ (2/47) and multiple cysts accounted for 2.13％ (1/47).There was no solid lesions.The cyst diameters which were larger than 5 cm accounted for 74.47％ (35/47).Conclusion The CT can qualitatively diagnose hepatic echinococcosis in children.It is a reliable method of examination.

Objective:To explore the role of N-cadherin and β-catenin in the formation of spinal commissural axon projection during chicken embryonic development.Methods:Fertilized eggs were cultured for three days(stage22),N-cadherin orβ-catenin inter-ference plasmid was injected into the neural tube and in vivo electroporation was performed.Three days after the electroporation, embryos were collected,fixed with 4%PFA,embeded with OCT,and cut into frozen sections.Four groups ( knockdown of N-cadherin orβ-catenin or both of them,and control) were included in this study.Immunohistochemistry method was used to analyze the protein expression result of N-cadherin or β-catenin.The changes of spinal commissural projections were observed with GFP fluorescence.Results:During chicken embryonic development,knockdown of N-cadherin inhibited the expression of β-catenin in the spinal cord.The commissural nerve fibers projecting to the contralateral side of the spinal cord was impaired after knockdown of N-cadherin or β-catenin;this phenotype was similar after knocking down both of them.Conclusion: N-cadherin is implicated in the formation of spinal commissural projection in the developing spinal cord,possibly viaβ-catenin.

Objective To discuss the effect of MST1 (mammalian sterile 20-like kinase 1,MST1) on the prolifera-tion,migration and invasion of SiHa cervical cancer .Methods Western blot was used to detect the expression of MST1 in cervical epithelial cells H8 and cervical cancer cells SiHa;PJ3H-HA-MST1 was constructed and transfect-ed it to SiHa cells by Lipofectamine TM3000;MST1, Ki-67 and MMP9 protein expression were evaluated by Western blot;While the proliferation ,migration and invasion of SiHa cell were assessed by MTS ,scratch adhesion test and Transwell assay respectively .Results Compared SiHa cells with H 8 cells,MST1 expression in SiHa cells was sig-nificantly lower than that in H8 cells.The plasmid was successfully transfected into SiHa cells , MST1 expression was significantly higher , while the expression of Ki-67 and MMP9 was lower .The proliferation , migration and inva-sion ability were all significantly suppressed .Conclusions Overexpression of MST1 can inhibit the proliferation , migration and invasion of cervical cancer cell line SiHa .

Objective To observe microvascular architecture and free radical metabolism in hippocampus after focal cerebral ischemia/reperfusion and to explore the effect of NBP (3-n-butylphthalide). Methods Fifty-four SD rats were ran?domly divided into NBP pretreatment group, ischemia/reperfusion group and sham operation group (n=18 in each group). The model of middle cerebral artery occlusion(MCAO)was established by suture method. The neurological scores were counted and the volume of infarction was measured;TA-Fe method was applied to observe the microvascular architecture of hippo?campus, Mivnt image analysis system was used to analyze the microvessel density(MVD)and the microvessel area density (MVA)of hippocampus quantitatively;The activity of SOD and content of MDA were measured by colorimetric method. Re?sults Compared to the ischemia reperfusion(IR)group, the neurological scores and the volume of infarction were decreased sharply in NBP group. What′s more, the activity of SOD, MVD and MVA were all enhanced but the content of MDA and the count of closed microvessels were both reduced(P < 0.01). Conclusion NBP can improve microvascular architecture of hippocampus and reduce the free radical injury. There is a protective effect on hippocampus of rats who suffered focal cere?bral ischemia reperfusion.
