Chinese Pharmacological Bulletin 2003;0(07):-
The activation of MAPKs signal transduction parthways, is a typical feature of chronic synovitis in rheumatoid arthritis. The phosphorylation of synoviocytes cytoplasm proteins induced transcription factor and nucleus proteins phosphorylation such as c-fos, c-jun, AP-1 and NF-?B via MAPKs signal transduction, which promotes synoviocytes proliferation and activation. These findings may be beneficial for the elucidation of the pathogenesis and the development of new drugs for rheumatoid arthritis.

Objective To explore the mediating effect and moderating effect of professional psycho?logical help?seeking intention and self?efficacy between mental symptoms and professional psychological help?seeking behavior in Chinese adults. Methods Totally 618 adult samples were selected on the internet and completed measures of help?seeking questionnaire,ISCI,SCL?90 and GSES. Results Females and middle a?dulthood subjects got higher ISCI and GSES scores than males and early adulthood subjects ((82.7±6.7) vs (77.8±7.8),(83.9±6.2) vs (76.8±7.3);all P<0.01). SCL?90 was significantly and positively correlated with psychological help?seeking behavior( r=0.162, P<0.01).ISCI was found to mediate the association be?tween SCL?90 and psychological help?seeking behavior(effect value=-0.004,95%CI=-0.008?-0.002). GSES significantly moderated the mediating effect of ISCI( B=0.006, P<0.05). Conclusion ISCI plays a mediating role between mental symptoms and professional psychological help?seeking behavior, which was moderated by GSES in Chinese adults.

Lymphoma is a malignancy of mature lymphocytes. Signalling through the B cell receptor ( BCR ) is central to the development and maintenance of B cells. In light of the numer-ous proliferative and survival pathways activated downstream of the BCR, it comes as no surprise that malignant B cells would co-opt this receptor to promote their own growth and survival. Compounds that inhibit various components of this pathway, in-cluding spleen tyrosine kinase(Syk), Bruton’s tyrosine kinase (Btk), and phosphoinositol-3 kinase(PI3K), have been devel-oped. In this paper, the B-cell receptor signaling and its targeted inhibitors of lymphoid malignancies are reviewed.

Objective To analyse the detection rates and antibiotic resistance of extended-spectrum β-lactamases (ESBLs) producing Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and to guide the clinical administration of treatment Methods Klebsiella pneumonia and Escherichia coli collected from clinical samples from January 2008 to December 2010 were tested by Phenotypic Confirmatory Test and confirmed by the method advised by NCCLs and drug-sensitivity was tested with K-B. Results Among the isolated 90 samples,49 strains were considered ESBLs-producing bacteria (54.4%) .with 52. 5% (31/59)of Klebsiella pneumonia and 58. 1% (18/31) of Escherichia coli respectively; with the specimens of respiratory system having the highest rate of 75. 5% (37/49). ESBLs producing bacteria were highly resistant to penicillins and cephalosporins, multi drug resistant to aminoglycosides and quinolones; low to piperacillin/tazobactam,cefoperazone/sulbactam,cefoxitin and amikacin; and all sensitive to imipenem. When compared to non-ESBLs producing strains, the rates of antibiotic resistance of the producing ESBLs strains were significantly higher. Conclusion The test results showed that the isolation rates of ESBLs-producing Klebsiella pneumoniae and Escherichia coli in ICU were high, which had high resistance to most antimicrobial agents, and the resistance was multiple. Imipenem could be the best choice to control the infection due to ESBLs-producing organisms. Timely detection of ESBLs producing bacteria and drug resistance is essential to guide clinical antibiotic using in ICU.

Objective:To explore the relationship among professional psychological help-seeking intention, mental symptoms, and self-efficacy in adults. Methods:Totally 618 adult samples[286 males and 332 females,304 early adulthood (18-35 years) and 314 middle adulthood (36-60 years)] were selected on the internet. They were assessed with the Intention of Seeking Counseling Inventory (ISCI),Symptom Checklist 90 (SCL-90) and General Self-Efficacy Scale (GSES) to evaluate professional psychological help-seeking intention, mental symptom and self-efficacy respectively. Results:Females and middle adulthood subjects got higher ISCI scores than males and early adulthood subjects [(82.7 ± 6.7) vs.(77.8 ± 7.8),(83.9 ± 6.2) vs.(76.8 ± 7.3);Ps < 0.001].Step linear regression analysis showed that age, scores of self-efficiency,horror and obsessive-compulsive symptoms had positive prediction effect on help-seeking intention (3 =0.34,0.29,0.10,0.11).Mental symptoms, hostility and paranoia had negative prediction effect on help-seeking intention (β =-0.17,-0.15,-0.11),and the 7 variables could explain 45.6% of the variation. Conclusion:It suggests that the adults' professional psychological help-seeking intention may be related to subject age, mental symptom and self-efficiency.

Objective To explore the mediating effects of rumination and its subtypes on the relationship between negative life events and depressive symptoms in treatment-naive depressed patients. Methods Sixty-two treatment-naive depressed patients completed the center for epidemiologic studies depression scale (CESD),rumination response scale (RRS),and life event scale (LES).Results ① The scores of CESD were positively correlated with total score of RRS,brooding score of RRS,and negative LES score (NLES) in depressed patients (r=0.66,P< 0.01;r =0.50,P< 0.01;r =0.51,P< 0.01).The total score of RRS and brooding score of RRS were positively correlated with NLES(r=0.45,P<0.01;r=0.47,P<0.01).② The total score of RRS played a mediating role between NLES and CESD (indirect effect=0.12,95% CI =0.04 ~ 0.23).③The brooding of RRS played a mediating role between NLES and CESD (indirect effect =0.07,95% CI=0.02~0.15).Conclusion The RRS and the brooding of RRS exert mediation effects on the relationship between NLES and CESD in patients with depression.

Objective To evaluate the correlation of the CT features of the collateral circulation and the degree of esophageal-gastric varices in patients with portal hypertension caused by hepatic cirrhosis. Methods 30 cases with portal hypertension were in group A and 30 healthy people were in group B.The diameter of portal vein(PV),gastriccoronary vein(GCV),the total cross-sectional surface area(CSA) of varices in gastro-splenic region were measured in both group A and B,the results and endoscopic signs were analysed with multiple linear regression. Results The diameters of PV were(16.17?2.44) mm in group A and(12.42?1.53) mm in group B,Beta =0.39. The diameters of GCV were(6.22?2.41)mm in group A and (3.39?1.03) mm in group B,Beta =0.85. The total CSA of varicosis in gastro-splenic region were(5.14?5.96) cm2 in group A and (1.32?0.98) cm2 in group B, Beta =1.90. Multiple linear regression equation : y=0.39X1+0.85X2+1.90X3 Conclusion The total CSA of varicosis in gastro-splenic region is a useful CT feature in evaluating portal hypertension.
