5.Relationship between MDSC level and immune function and HBV-DNA replication level in patients with hepatitis B
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2016;23(8):1161-1164
Objective To investigate the relationship between myeloid-derived suppressor cell ( MDSC) levels and immune function and hepatitis B virus DNA ( HBV-DNA) replication level in patients with hepatitis B. Methods 96 patients with hepatitis B were included in the study.40 normal persons who received physical examina-tion in the hospital during the same period were included as the control group. The content of MDSC was detected by flow cytometry and HBV-DNA level was detected by real-time fluorescence quantitative PCR technique.Statistical analysis was performed. Results The content of MDCS in hepatitis B group (8.77 ±3.69)%was significantly high-er than (1.64 ±1.26)%in the control group (t=16.80,P<0.05).The content of MDCS in HBsAg positive group (11.29 ±3.39)%was significantly higher than (4.71 ±2.88)%in HBsAg negative group (t=10.76,P<0.05). The proportions of HBA DNA<103 IU/mL,103 -104 IU/mL and 105 -106 IU/mL in HBsAg positive group(0.00%, 0.00%,9.09%) were significantly lower than those in HBsAg negative group (54.05%,22.97%,20.27%),while the proportion of HBA DNA>107 IU/mL ( 90.91%) was significantly higher than that in HBsAg negative group (2.70%)(P<0.05).The content of MDSC in HBV DNA positive group[(10.82 ±3.26)%] was significantly higher than that in HBV DNA negative group[(5.84 ±2.16)%](t=8.42,P<0.05).Spearman's correlation analy-sis showed that the level of MDCS expression was positively correlated with the level of DNA replication (r=0.769, P<0.05).Conclusion The increased level of MDSC content can cause the immune suppression and is positively correlated with the degree of HBV DNA replication.
6.The Study Paradigm of Executive Function on Memory Updating
Chinese Medical Ethics 1995;0(02):-
Executive function is an important advanced cognitive process, and it is the function that integrates different cognitive processes to achieve one's aim. Updating is an important component of executive function. According to the classifications of Miyake & Colletee on executive function, two study paradigms on memory updating are discussed: n-back paradigm & running memory paradigm. A new study method called latent variable analysis and new studies of cognitive neuroscience on memory updating are introduced. Issues on ethics and morality in research on cognitive experiment of psychology are briefly demonstrated to explore appropriate direction for research of executive function in future.

OBJECTIVE:To study the general pattern, characteristics and related risk of adverse drug reaction(ADR)induced by Monosialotetrahexosylganglioside sodium injection, and to provide reference for safe use of drugs in the clinic. METHODS:Us-ing“monosialotetrahexosylganglioside”and“ADR”as keywords, literautres were retrieved from CJFD,Wanfang and VIP database according to inclusion and exclusion criteria in Oct. 2014,and cases reports were extracted and analyzed statistically. RESULTS:A total of 19 literatures were included, involving 56 patients, with the ratio of male to female was 6.17∶1,and the most of patients aged 0-9 years,≥60 years, accounting for 44.64%(25 cases),30.36%(17 cases). Multiple organs or systems were involved in ADR;the most common reactions are fever (29 cases) and shiver (28 cases),etc.,and severe ADR can cause green-barry syn-drome,anaphylactic shock, etc. CONCLUSIONS:Thus,it is important to pay attention to ADR caused by Monosialotetrahexosyl-ganglioside sodium injection,to prevent the occurrence of serious ADR,to perfect drug instructions, and to ensure clinical safe ad-ministration.
8.Over-expressed miR-449a inhibitsproliferation and induces apoptosis of SH-SY5Y cells in vitro
Basic & Clinical Medicine 2017;37(8):1117-1121
Objective To explore the effects of miR-449a on the proliferation and apoptosis in human neuroblastoma SH-SY5Y cells. Methods Transferred miR-449a mimics SH-SY5Y cells by LipofectamineTM2000 as experimental group.Cell growth was measured by CCK8 assay, the cell cycle and apoptosis were detected by flow cytometry.Relative expression of c-Myc and Bax/Bcl-2 was detected by Western blot. Results Compare to blank and negative control cells, the proliferation of miR-449a mimics SH-SY5Y cells was decreased(P<0.05).Flow cytometry showed that over-expressed miR-449a resulted in an increase of G0/G1 phase and apoptotic cells. The expression of c-Myc showed significant difference (P<0.05),Expression of pro-apoptotic protein Bax was increased, and that of anti-apoptotic protein Bcl-2 was decreased(P<0.05).Conclusions miR-449a over-expression can inhibit cell proliferation by regulating cell cycles and induce apoptosis mainly through regulating Bcl-2 family proteins expression in SH-SY5Y cells.
9.Progress in Reprogramming Somatic Cells Into Stem Cells
Progress in Biochemistry and Biophysics 2006;0(04):-
Recent scientific achievements in cell and developmental biology have provided unprecedented opportunities for advances in biomedical research. The demonstration that fully differentiated cells can reverse their gene expression profile to that of pluripotent cells, and the successful derivation and culture of human embryonic stem cells (ESCs) have fuelled hopes for applications in regenerative medicine. Ethical issues concerning the use of cloned human embryos for the derivation of stem cells have stimulated the search for alternative methods for reversing differentiated cells into pluripotent cells. The present state of these reprogramming technologies will be reviewed and their relative success will be discussed.
