1.Hedgehog signaling pathway and lung cancer
Cancer Research and Clinic 2011;23(4):280-283
Hedgehog (Hh) pathway plays a critical role in embryonic development period, which regulates cell proliferation and differentiation, and coordinates the key step of organs' development process such as skin, brain, neural tube, bowels, appendage and lung.In the adult stage,Hh signaling regulates proliferation of stem cells. At this time,Hh signaling is strictly controlled by time and space. In recent years, studies have shown aberrant activation of the Hh pathway is closely related to various types of malignancies, and would be a new therapeutic target of tumor treatment. This paper will review the characteristic of Hh signaling pathway and its research status in lung cancer.
2.Association of serum uric acid and lipid with carotid atherosclerosis in hypertension patients
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(9):1479-1480
Objective The aim of the present study was to determine the associations between uric acid, lipid and carotid atherosclerosis in the hypertension patients. Methods Eighty participants with essential hypertension were enrolled to undergo by uhrasonography to calculate intima-media thickness (IMT) and carotid artery plaques, each participants were detected UA,serum lipids. Results Multiple regression analysis revealed the UA,TG,LDLC was significantly independently associated with IMT (P<0.01) in non-plaques participants.UA,LDL-C in the group of carotid atherosclerotic were significantly higer than the group of the normal I MT.Condusion UA,TG,LDL-C were found to be an independent risk factor for incidence of carotid atherosclerosis.
3.Compound glycyrrhizin for alcoholic hepatitis:observation of clinical efficacy
Chinese Journal of Primary Medicine and Pharmacy 2008;15(4):602-603
Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of compound glycyrrhizin on alcoholic hepatitis. Methods A total of 65 patients with alcoholic hepatitis were assigned to group A(30 cases) treated with abstinence of alcohol, physical exercise and adjusted diet, and group B(35 cases) treated with compound glycyrrhizin together with the treatment given to group A. Before and after receiving three 4-week treatment periods, all the patients had their liver function tested and received examination of ultrasonic weave type B. Results Group B had significantly alleviated clinical symptoms, and ACT,A ST, GGT in blood serum are significantly lower than group A(P<0.05).Examination of ultrasonic wave type B on the liver shows significant amelioration and disappearance of symptoms of fatty liver. Conclusion Compound glycyrrhizin can significantly ameliorate the clinical symptoms and improve the liver function of the patients.

5.Ultrasound-guided minimally invasive stereotactic breast excision for breast mass
Chinese Journal of Postgraduates of Medicine 2010;33(33):24-26
Objective To evaluate the application value of ultrasound-guided minimally invasive stereotactic breast excision in the diagnosis and treatment of breast mass. Methods The minimally invasive operations for 218 patients were performed by ultrasound-guided Mammotome system, and the therapeutic efficacy of Mammotome system was evaluated. Results All the patients were completely excised by the Mammotome system. No failed procedure occurred, all the masses were pathologically confirmed as benign lesions in 214 patients and invasive ductal carcinomas in 4 patients. Postoperatively, the incision scar was barely visible and no complications happened except for mild subcutaneous hemorrhage in 9 patients, local hematoma in 3 patients and local deep pitting of the skin in 5 patients. Conclusion Mammotome system shows many benefits with less trauma, more rapid recovery and with less complications.
6.Current treatment of vasovagal syncope
International Journal of Pediatrics 2010;37(4):355-358
Vasovagal syncope (VVS) although is a benign disease, repeated syncope attacks can reduce quality of life in patients,in some cases, can also lead to serious body injures. Therefore,it is required and necessary to the treatment of patients with VVS.The treatment of VVS includes health education, drug treatment and non-drug treatment.
7.Study on Factors Causing Doctor - patient Strained Relation
Chinese Medical Ethics 1994;0(06):-
As the doctor - patient relation becomes more and more strained, the former study on the relation between these two parts, done only from the perspective of medical ethics, has been found far from enough. Many -sided factors, in fact, contribute to it. The government reduces investment into medical field; the medical insurance coverage shrinks; welfare sense in state - run medical organizations decreases; doctors focus on medical procedures, ignore humane care to patients; the cost for treatment is increasing and the sense of self - protection of the patients is growing and so on. Therefore, it is of critical importance to study the relation from multi -perspective for the reconstruction of harmonious doctor - patient relation in the future.
8.Synergistic induction of apoptosis of HEP-2 cell line by the combination of TRAIL and 5-FU,DDP
Journal of Chongqing Medical University 2007;0(08):-
Objective:To investigate whether TRAIL can synergize 5-Fu and DDP to kill HEP-2 cell line. Methods:MTT was used to detecet the cytotoxicity of HEP-2 cell line intervented in 5-FU,DDP,TRAIL,5-FU+TRAIL and DDP+TRAIL.Fluorescence microscope and FCM were used to detecet the apoptosis rate of cell.Results:HEP-2 cell line was insensitive in TRAIL,but the apoptosis rate obviously was upgraded after intervented in 5-FU+TRAIL and DDP+TRAIL.Conclusion:TRAIL in combination with subtoxic dose of 5-FU and DDP can effectively kill HEP-2 cell line. The combination of TRAIL,5-FU and DDP induced apoptosis of HEP-2 cell line.
9.Application of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae Injection and Dopamine Injection in Peritoneal Dialysis
China Pharmacy 2005;0(24):-
OBJECTIVE: To observe the effects of combined application of Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae injection and dopamine injection on peritoneal dialysis patients.METHODS: By self-control method, the peritoneal dialysis solution of 22 patients with ambulant continued peritoneal dialysis was added with 20 mg dopamine injection and 12 mL Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae injection for dialysis of 14 days. The D/P values of urea nitrogen(UN) and creatinine(Cr),week's peritoneal UN clearance index(KT/V),the clearance rate of Cr(Ccr),week's total KT/V,Ccr,reabsorption rate of glucose and the net amount of 24 hours' ultrafiltration were recorded before and after medication.RESULTS: The addition of dopamine injection and Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae injection to the peritoneal dialysis solution resulted in significant higher values in week's peritoneal KT/V,Ccr and week's total KT/V,Ccr and the net amount of 24 hours' ultrafiltration as compared with before medication(P
